    Pros +

    • The location was very good for exploring Osaka and conveniently near two subway stops.
    • Good location and nice staff.
    • Clean and quiet room on an upper floor was nice. A nightly bath in the Japanese style bathtub was a highlight of staying in this hotel. Some good restaurants nearby and all the amenities you’ll need!

    Cons -

    • Breakfast is a joke - It's much easier to walk 50 meters to City Bakery and get a much better experience for the same price. There's a lot of dust in the room, especially around the hood and next to the TV. The air conditioner is my personal nightmare, and maybe it's just a room-specific issue, but it was so loud that it was impossible to sleep with it on.
    • It would have been great to have some cleaning service during my stay. Also, the location is quiet but a bit out of the way. Not too much nearby and can be a bit tiresome to trek to and fro at the beginnings and ends of your days.
    • The bathroom is very small. We stayed for 7 nights and they explained they were not going to clean the rooms but they had a schedule for us to take out the trash and they delivered clean towels everyday. The breakfast was the exact same everyday. We only enjoyed coffee and croissant the most. The breakfast was very poor compared to the other hotels we stayed in Japan.

The hotel is very well located. The Nihonbashi train station is a few steps away which is very convenient to go around Osaka. The rooms were confortable. We got two rooms next to each other as requested. There are a lot of restaurants and shops near by and vending machines inside the hotel.

really lovely hotel in good location and excellent value for money

no microwave on the site which I find in Japan to be needed especially if you want to enjoy the convenience store and bring something back to the room for later

It's close to the subway station and there are heaps of eating places around the hotel, overall a nice and pleasant place to stay!

Could do with some in house movies/shows , all TV channels are local and in Japanese language only

    9MichaelPosted on: 12-30-2024

Good location in a more quiet area. Lots of food options close by. Staff were very helpful.

    7JenPosted on: 12-21-2024

Price! Value for money, and you get what you pay for. Budget room but it does the job.

Not enough towels or amenities for the people staying.

    5FlorencePosted on: 12-2-2024

It was close to the Nakanoshima Museum of Art. There was a beautiful large floral arrangement in the lobby.

The room description on Booking.com said: “Guests will have a special experience as the twin room features a hot tub.” It was just a regular business hotel style tub. I went down to ask about it at the front desk and they had no idea what I was talking about, even after showing them the description in the app. (Confusion exacerbated by my attempt to describe it as a jacuzzi tub, because that’s how I’ve heard them described before, but the ジャグジー (jagujī) / ジャクジー (jakujī) sounds similar to 蛇口 [じゃぐち (jaguchi)], which means “faucet”and they were like, yes, there’s a faucet - and we confirmed that yes, I had running water … and then I gave up.) So, no hot tub aside, there were coffee stains on the wall above the small desk - they came off with a wet wipe, so clearly no one had tried that. Oh, back to the tub - from in the tub, I could see that the bottom of the toilet had also not been wiped in some time as there were yellow stains and a build-up of dust there. The sheets were scratchy.

Was easy to check in and check out. Fresh towels each day.

Pro tip! Leave the plug securely fastened in your bath/shower when not using it otherwise the stench of a hundred people's poop will fill your room and ruin your life. It's absolutely disgustingly vomitous! AND ... The breakfast was Honestly poor form indeed! It wasn't even worth eating if it was free! The damage the food would do to your health is sinister. Oh! And the coffee tastes burnt! Snide comment I realise but now I feel I must say something positive so on the bright side, I was given a home brand crossiant when I requested something edible. I'm sorry if this review is disheartening but Well I'd give this place a big miss. Oh and the bed and pillows are hard as... the road noise was hazardous!

Lovely staff, clean hotel in a safe area. Perfect for my partner and i who both travelled light but might be squishy if

    9Kirstie R.Posted on: 11-30-2024

The rooms are clean and on standard size for a solo traveler. Very near to the Subway Yotsubashi Line, though it’s not in the Namba area it’s still not that far away if you like walking. The neighborhood is calm and quiet which I wanted. There are konbini and restaurants nearby for a meal and snack run.

The exit from subway doesn’t have lift so you have to carry luggages to go up or down the stairs. There is no microwave in the rooms but you can ask the reception to heat food for you if you need to. The staff are nice even if there is a language barrier since they don’t speak english.

    5ThomasPosted on: 11-25-2024

Excellent location, staff very friendly and helpful, facilities including coin laundry.

The room was unfortunately quite dusty and the bathroom had a strange smell that I suspect was due to poor ventilation.

    8RebeccaPosted on: 11-25-2024

It was clean and easy to access near subway station

    7IrenaPosted on: 11-24-2024

The location is good close to underground. Beds are comfortable.

It was not that clean, especially for Japanese standards.

    8HashimPosted on: 11-13-2024

The property is great, the room is a solid size, he bed was extremely comfortable, shower had excellent pressure and the wi-fi was solid. The location was superb, extremely close to the Higobashi metro and not too fair from Yodoyobashi too, and there is a 7/11 and Family Mart meters away for your Nanachiki or Famichiki needs, also, there are an excellent handful of restaurants that are even closer!

My one issue would be I would've liked some fresh sheets. If you stay more than two days, your room won't be cleaned. You still get fresh towels, but by the end of my stay I had a pile of towels in the corner of the bathroom.

The room very clean, all the utensils provided, beautiful reception

    7CarolinaPosted on: 10-28-2024

The location is very good, it was super easy to go around. It's also close to many restaurants, which made it easier to have dinner without going too far. The staff didn't speak english, but they made a great effort to communicate with me and they were very nice!!!

The room itself was clean, but the bathroom was not that good, it had mold in the drains and also the laundry was kinda dirty too. But it was the only bad thing about all the hotel, the rest was super nice.

    - Room has a wide hallway, can easily fit a 158cm suitcase. - Hotel is close to a subway station.- Breakfast is simple but delicious- Bathroom is clean and faucet is modern, new towels given daily- water kettle is provided but it’s pretty small (0.8L max)- first hotel I’ve seen provide a lid for the cup, but there’s no tea bags in amenities, they do give 2 free water bottles thoughOff note: the bed frame is very easy to move, I accidentally pushed it twice so if you need a little more space, just push it against the wall.

    - the shower curtain had (old) mold on it (room 804), previous patrons probably didn’t run the fan long enough, but it should be replaced with a new one- the sink hangs over the bath more than other hotels I’ve been to so it might make the bath feel smaller but that’s not something you can change.- the receptionist (an elder gentleman) running the front desk 10/26/24 @ 7AM did not tell me to write down the date of luggage delivery for the next hotel. Only the TIME for delivery. So here I am in the Kyoto hotel panicking over my missing luggage. Luckily the receptionist in the Kyoto hotel checked online and it will be delivered to my current hotel next day instead. I wish the receptionist at Welina had been more attentive, I did mention it was my first time sending luggage.

The location is fantastic. Value for money. But it is what you pay for. It’s just a basic standard room. It is a normal size room for Japan standard.

Not having fresh towels daily, only been given one towel despite two in the room. Air conditioning did not work correctly. Breakfast is very limited options and honestly not worth even eating there. Ammenities were lacking.
