the room had a mini kitchen which was nice and it was very spacious

i liked the bathroom being divided so one could use the toilet and one could take a shower and the sink was also in its own small space but the rooms are so small that I actually bumped my elbows on the walls a couple of times when blow drying my hair.

Friendliness of staff, room size, location absolutely perfect.

The hotel room was extremely small and very dated. The double bed was comfortable and the pillows were terrible. It needs a big update.

Very helpful staff.

The room is very small for a westerner (US).

Cramped rooms.. off course it is Japan can’t expected more .. compared to others this was much better

We stayed here for two nights. The room was a very nice size. It had a washer/dryer combo, kitchenette, king bed and a large bathroom. The customer service was nice and the room/hotel was very clean.

The walls are a bit thin so we did hear some noises at night. The king bed was very wide but short.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed and a great bathroom. We had everything we needed, and didn’t mind that it was a bit out of the way. Easy walk to Shin-Osaka

Comfortable beds, big room, ok amenities. Shuttle service made the location decent, otherwise a bit far from the station. Convenience stores close by.

We booked a studio room which was spacious with basic kitchen facilities, washing machine and dryer. The in-house restaurant was very good with food options at reasonable prices. Staff was very helpful. It being a Holiday Inn, it had that international feeling.

The hotel is situated in Shi-Osaka area which is close to the train station but far from other areas such as Namba. This may be not convenient for tourists. However, the hotel has a shuttle bus service to the train station which is very handy.

Clean, has most things you expect/need, unless you need a desk. About 15 minute walk to shinkansen or metro. Grocery stores and restaurants nearby.

My room didn’t have a desk; I should have read the description more carefully.

Room was amazing. Quite large which as all of us know, Japan can be a challenge. The size is key here though, and this one was as big as you could want. The bathroom was great, kitchen was very useful and a big fridge. The biggest shout out though, and why is the best hotel you can stay in is the staff. One guy in particular, front desk dude from Sri Lanka, literally he made our trip. He walked us around, showed us the benefits of the hotel, and his suggestions on where to go were extraordinary. What a great dude, he made the stay. All the staff though were super helpful and friendly, made us not want to leave.

Beds were too firm, which is common in Japan but still not a preference. I wish these rooms would just give you some simple sheets. Again, none in Japan do, but it would be a game changer. The action part of town is a bit of a distance as well.

Shuttle to Shin-Osaka station every 20 minutes. Room restocked daily. Breakfast was delicious and had great variety. Stag were very helpful.

Not a lot to do near hotel

It’s in a very convenient location and the hotel in has everything you need. They also offer a shuttle to the shin-Osaka station which is super handy.

The happy hour/refreshments was not great.

Really good location and the shuttle service to the station was excellent. Good cafe/restaurant we used for dinner on one night too.

On arrival we were not put in a city view room as booked. This was changed by staff and they offered one night upgrade for our last night.

Overall, most of the staff were pleasant apart from my initial contact with staff by phone. I enjoyed the room despite it not being the room I booked due to it being bigger than my last hotel. I liked that the staff was able to hold my luggage while we walked around the area before transitioning to our hotel and the restaurant was good.

The staff at initial contact by phone when needing help with finding the correct pickup location for the shuttle was not at all helpful. I waited for over an hour (should only have been 20 minutes) being repeatedly passed by the shuttle despite trying to flag the driver down and having him wave at me. I called the hotel for help several times letting them know that I was in the location and kept getting passed by, and all I was told was that they would notify the drive to be on the lookout for me and that I would just need to wait until the next pickup. While I was told that I was probably in the wrong location (which I was and the correct location was like 50 feet away from where I was standing), the areas were so similar (bottom of staircase, green fence, near bike rack) that it was completely understandable that I mistook the location, especially since there were no signs to indicate the pickup location. Instead of really trying to help, the front desk staff basically said I would just have to figure it out and offered no real help to try to navigate me to the right area. This lack of help pretty much tainted my whole stay and view as a first time visitor and reminded me of why I decided to stop using IHG hotels. Thankfully I decided to have a look around and discovered there was another area just around a small bend that looked very similar to where I was standing and we moved there hoping it would be the right pickup location...and it was. I chose the hotel primarily because of the free shuttle. And considering that I was a first time guest in the country and at the hotel, with all of the information I tried to give them, I feel that they could have been much more helpful and considerate. It almost seemed deliberate considering how close the two areas were. Highly disappointing.

Well situated and the staff was excellent. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Room was VERY tight for two people. No desk in the room. No real space in the lobby to do work or charge devices which, since the room was so crowded, was an issue. I could not do work that I wanted to do. There were many tables there, not being used when not a meal time, but not opened up for use by guests.

The shuttle bus between the hotel and the subway station made getting to and fro easy. Although it wasn’t far from the station, the area felt very local.

It would be great if the directions for getting to the shuttle bus stop included how to get there from the JR station.

Close enough to Osaka-Shin, and fitness is good.

I’ve asked Full Bed and ended up in Twin Bed, they did not notified about the request being refused and I was not able to cancelled when I reached the property after the announcement.
