    Pros +

    • Very nice hotel, spa, sauna, gym and location just in front of train station.
    • The recently renovated onsen complex is the absolute highlight of this hotel. With a phenomenal variety of themed pools and temperatures (both indoor and out), the entire space is clearly designed for deep mental and physical relaxation. Loved that we could wear our pajamas in all parts of the hotel too, even at breakfast. The lobby decor changes to reflect the season, which is a nice touch. The location is also good, with an array of restaurants, convenience stores, a big Don Quixote (think “super Walmart,”Japanese-style) and subway lines just steps away. Beyond the baths, the hotel offers a karaoke bar, a fitness center, and a convenient food court. The rooftop pool complex and view are also pluses. The breakfast buffet is a solid mix of Japanese and Western staples. The staff—though incredibly friendly—primarily cater to Japanese guests and speak limited English. Having Google Translate ready made communication seamless.
    • It is big, spacious, clean and pricing is very good for all the accommodations they provide

    Cons -

    • We have to took off our shoes in and out to our room start from the lobby. They gave us a sticker label that we have to use while we enter the hotel to scan to enter t lobby hotel
    • The guest rooms are small but you likely won’t be spending much time in them.
    • I wish the had an escalators from the street level to the level of the entrance of Spa World. It was very difficult for us to carry our luggage up all those stairs.

I love the way we were greeted although we could not speak Japanese the staff tried their best to help us. The young lady who was at the front desk guided and walked with the shoe locker area and to the hotel elevators and showed us how to use the hotel card. From the use of the Onsen to the breakfast buffet was an awesome experience we will never forget.

I wish the had an escalators from the street level to the level of the entrance of Spa World. It was very difficult for us to carry our luggage up all those stairs.

    Spa

Room smells like feet. I had to go buy a deodorizing spray. Breakfast buffet was mediocre and was the same the next day. No elevator only my plenty of stairs to get in. Spa was closed when it should be open

Loved the rooms, the spa and just everything about it. Location is great too.

    Good location, great onsen resort.

It is interesting that this hotel forces you to walk either barefeet or with socks (e.g. no shoes), yet they allow roll-away suitcases to be entered. The wheels on these suitcases are even dirtier than your shoes. Yuck.

I liked the location and the price

Staff seemed more distant and less helpful than most hotels we’ve stayed at. The escalator at the entrance was not working at the time of our arrival. They said they couldn’t help anyone. We had to carry all our families cases up the escalator on our own. They didn’t apologise or care that many elderly people were needing to do the same. Pretty bad service. Breakfast was average. Not many western options

The spaciousness of the rooms and the amazing breakfast!

Having to take shoes off upon entry and not allowing tattoos even if covered.

    8MartinPosted on: 5-16-2025

Clean rooms and good location close to the metro and subway

The gym didn’t open until 12, but I usually go at 0700 before going out for the day, and I don’t get back until late so I never got to use the gym at all.

    7NCPosted on: 4-23-2025

    The onsen.

The pool hours and that the gym was not 24 hours.

    6MiriamPosted on: 4-21-2025

The Spa world facilities are wonderful to the point one wouldn’t want to leave the hotel.

5 persons in the entrance and 4 more in the reception yet all the check-ins are done with machines. For some unexplained reason our checkin took over 45’ to the point of me crying at the machines, leaving my passports and begging the ladies to let me go up with the kids until they find how to properly check me in. This meant we missed a day at the spa&pools which is what we paid for in the first place.

    Nice place with over-the-top spa.

They had TVs everywhere in the baths and saunas! With the volume on. No one wants to see/hear a TV in a spa. And no one wants to see/hear Donald Trump in a spa!

    10JustinePosted on: 4-12-2025

I didnt have the best room upon checking in so I asked if there was anything else. The staff thoroughly checked and I got a much better room! The facilities are nice and clean and I liked the location. There's a cool market very close by that also makes a great photo opp and easy shopping/food options.

Breakfast was too repetitive everyday. Taking off shoes upon entry was annoying

    8AnaPosted on: 4-12-2025

The aqua park is great if you have kids as it is a great entertainment. The spa world, some onsen decoration was over the top. I liked more the Japanese style onsens. Great as it offered massages as well. The breakfast buffet was good, lots of variety. In the room it was a pity the curtain wasn't black out and the pillows were too rigid, not the best night's sleep.

Conveniently located near JR, metro , kaikan line. Many eateries nearby and superb spa facilities ,Breakfast buffet spread is excellent .

    9MaevePosted on: 4-10-2025

Superb facilities, great breakfast selection, clean room and lovely staff.

    1WillisaPosted on: 4-7-2025

The room was very old and dirty and we couldn’t control the temperature- it was so hot and we couldn’t turn the noisy heater off. For $250 a night I expected more from a resort than 3 tea bags and dirty uncomfortable “futon”. We ended up paying for new accomodation

    1HuesPosted on: 3-24-2025

Nothing, unfortunately. The experience was extremely disappointing and not as advertised.

The hotel was extremely dirty and unhygienic. The spa area had no ventilation, it smelled of sweat, and the provided clothing was unwashed and unpleasant. No free water was available in the spa, even though hydration is essential in a high-temperature environment. Guests were forced to walk barefoot through dirty hotel floors, which was never mentioned during booking. The entire hotel felt poorly maintained. Staff did not speak any English, and even with Google Translate, communication was nearly impossible. Additionally, extra charges were unclear and the system with QR codes was confusing and not explained. Overall, it was an extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant stay.

I reserved single room, size is good enough, clean. Staff service is perfect.

It is so complicated when entry the hotel area after registration. Everyone is needed to off the shoes compulsory, however, luggage wheel are dirty. I could got what is the meaning for...Actually, spa area are getting old, it look likes not very clean.
