    Pros +

    • Nice location, and good amenities. Free soft drinks and ochazuke in the nights.Attentive staff and super close to the big Shin Osaka station.
    • Near the train station. Some extra amenities provided. Nice bento breakfast.
    • I've stayed at the hotel several times already. I like its practicality and location: it's very convenient to arrive and depart by shinkansen, it's convenient to travel to Kyoto on local trains, and it's convenient to get around the city, as the subway station is within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and "fast food" and convenient stores options nearby, and some of restaurants are very good. I like everything about this hotel.

    Cons -

    • The rooms can be super small for couples.
    • All good.
    • Okay, so they have a weird approach to breakfast: they give you an obento and a box of juice. It looks almost like an army ration pack. But I don't buy it anymore, because you can find better food just across the street.

The location is further away from highway and railway.

The rooms are bit small and there was a urine smell lingering in the bathroom.

The location is perfect if you are coming to Osaka via Shinkansen, or JR Haruka train from airport, as it is walkable from the Shin-Osaka station. The hotel provides night wear, and has a good lounge with lots of Manga. Worth the price considering the cost of the other hotels in Japan. We just spent one night, as our flight was Osaka, and this was a very comfortable option. This is perfect if you are travelling solo.

The room and the bed are quite small, and can fit a maximum of 2 people. It would get uncomfortable for longer stays for 2 people.

    Great lounge.

No English language and room was very small.

Very nice staff to welcome you when you walk in , very clean hotel , and no unwanted room service ; they leave everything you need at the door without bothering you every morning. When I come back to Osaka , Japan I will definitely stay here again !

They bring you new towels on the door everyday. Free drink(soft drinks, coffee, water, ice) in the lobby with anime/comic books for everyone to use. Free toothbrushes and bath towels for everyone daily. Bathroom is really clean and nice as well.

The room is really small & the power goes out without your key card, which causes the fridge to melt. But otherwise great!

The place is close enough to both the JR/shinkansen lines and the metro and it's easy to adjust the temperature of my room to what I'm comfortable to.

Room was pretty small and probably wouldn't fit a check in suitcase. There is also no bottled water in your room but there is a vending machine in the building.

Perfect location! Right next to the shin Osaka station and a convenient store right across It has a relaxing lobby and the staff is very professional!

While the room is on the small size, the bed was the most comfortable out of all our hotel stays during our trip. We loved taking advantage of the public bath as well after long days of walking. The location is also very convenient. You can get to it quickly if you exit directly from the midosuji line.

Rooms are small but it's a business hotel so it's to be expected.

Great location close to shin Osaka station an quiet area

    Room small but it’s ok

    9AfsanaPosted on: 5-4-2025

Great location, great lounge facilities, including complimentary hot and cold drinks. Excellent coffee! Loved the public bath. Wonderful staff who replied to our questions promptly we were able to leave luggage earlier.

The room was quite tight for 2 people, but ok for a 1 night stay with smaller luggage.

    10ChannaPosted on: 4-29-2025

Modern room with Friendly staff. Ideal location as it's close to the Shin-Osaka station.

    9AfraPosted on: 4-11-2025

The room was clean with all the necessary amenities. Very conveniently located near Shin Osaka station. Had a spacious common area with complementary coffee & soft drinks. The size of the room was quite small & they don't offer daily room service.

The hotel is super close to the metro station. There are plenty of markets and places to eat around the hotel where you can take care of your needs. It’s a practical hotel. If the space under the beds was empty, it would’ve been great for storing luggage and saving space, but they didn’t design it that way. The staff are really helpful. Check-in and check-out processes are handled really quickly. Check-in isn’t allowed before 3:00 PM. You can grab fresh pajamas every day from the ground floor, and the pajamas are so comfy! :) From what I understood, if you’re staying for a week, you only get room cleaning once. Other than that, towels are changed daily.

My stay in Y's Hotel Shin-Osaka was a short one but I have nothing but praise for the front desk staff who are always happy to help and always have a genuine smile on when they are wishing you a good morning. Despite the language barrier between us they helped me forward a suitcase to another hotel and answered any questions I had.The hotel is situated between two convenient station for both metro and JR lines, the neighbourhood is quiet but not without a variety of restaurants and convenience shops. The room was small so I found it difficult to have two suitcases in and still move comfortably but the price was very reasonable.

I love that this hotel was tattoo friendly and had a tattoo friendly sento (public bath). Good for warm soaks after a cold day.

The room was abit too small. I could barely walk after opening my suitcase.

    7DeboraPosted on: 3-18-2025

The location was good, 10 min from Shin-Osaka and 6 min walk from the M-subway line. I didn‘t use the amenities, but the room was clean and it had all the needed basics.

The room was the smallest I had in Japan, there were no places to sit besides the bed (there was a small table to use while sitting on the bed). It was fine, just not super comfortable (I‘d recommend it for 1-2 nights). The staff was fine, I was not treated badly by any means, but they were not the friendliest staff I met while in Japan.
