The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi

This is a fantastic hotel it was a great location room was clean front desk staff are very friendly and welcoming. This hotel has some great freebies which I've never experienced at a hotel massage chairs, ramen ice cream and drinks including alcohol .

2 things let this hotel down it was extremity noisy at 8am from hotel guest to cleaning staff the rooms are not sound proof also the curtains it was very bright from 6am so if you're an early riser this is fine but otherwise you could struggle with it

A room put 3 beds was narrow & no space.

Comfortable hotel, and we loved all the free amenities. Convenient location for the subway, shopping, restaurants and more. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a good stay.

The rooms are on the small side, but still decent deal for the price.

It’s nice, efficient, and reasonably close distance to most thing. We didn’t have so much time to take use of the free ramen or activities but it’s a really nice touch!

We stayed here in January. We have stayed for quite a while in Japan. This is the only place that when we walked in the door the first time it felt like walking into a fridge it was so cold. That solved itself with the heater in the aircon eventually. The bathroom remained very cold, to the point were you dreaded going in there unless you had some clothes on. I asked the very friendly staff about it who said that’s how it is in Japan during winter.

Perfect location, walking distance to Dotonbori and also the Metro train services

Room small but not a really big issue

The hotel is very accessible to both train station and Dotonbori. It has a lot of freebies like alcoholic drinks , coffee and sodas in the afternoon.

The bathroom is small for the size of the room.

Good location (shopping, restaurants, and transit nearby), staff were helpful and room was small but comfortable, best part about this hotel were the free drinks, icecream, and ramen.

This hotel is amazing. The breakfast buffet is superb, offering a large selection of both Western and Asian foods. The free daily activities and ramen were great. The room was small but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Most importantly, the hotel staff are amazing. My wife became ill during our stay and needed to go to the emergency room. It was very early morning so the hotel staff member called various hospitals in the area to see if a doctor was available. After deciding to call an ambulance, the staff member came with us into the ambulance to serve as an interpreter. She was willing to go to the hospital with us to continue to translate, but fortunately, the hospital confirmed that they had English speaking personnel on duty.

The location is excellent because it is very near several metro stations. The room is a bit smaller than I expected for its price but it was comfortable. The ACU is working properly to make the room temp comfortable enough during winter. The bathroom is very nice because of the usual Japanese automated amenities. I like very much the unlimited supply of drinks like coffee, wine, sodas and the late night free ramen snacks which helped a lot when we are lazy enough to buy food from convinis. The staff are excellent, they are very helpful, smile a lot and very professional. Their staff are multi-lingual thus, communication was not a problem. Their cleaning staff are also very nice. And yes, I love their free to use massage chairs at the lobby.

Their restaurant / dining hall is a bit small and claustrophobic for my taste.
