beautiful property, beautiful room, located near shinsekai but outside the busy area so it’s quiet and peaceful

Very quiet area to stay, facilities were very clean and staff were very helpful and accomodating to my requests!

Staff was incredibly nice and hospitable. Room was comfortable, clean, good lighting. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!

Only thing I didnt like as much was the location was a bit far from where we walked every day. Other than that, great!

Beautiful property, we loved the Japanese style and the free meditation classes you could take. We didn’t do any of the classes but we loved that it was available to us. The staff were exceptional, very good customer service. Property is a close walk to the subway station. Property was very quiet and clean.

The first night we showered we didn’t put the fan on and when we returned to the room there was a strong musty smell. We realized we had to put the fan on and when we did, we didn’t have that problem again.

Great breakfast and helpful staff.

Given it was our first time in the city, it's too far from central areas. In our room, you can hear cars from the main road.Minimal space to open suitcases if you're trying not to ruin the tatami

The bathroom was a little too small.

Loved that it was in a quiet location yet close to activities. Staff were very kind, accommodating and helpful. The room was (husband and I stayed in a separate room, my son had his own room) very clean, had everything we needed, sufficient space for our luggage and multiple backpacks. Highlight was a meditation session in the evening. We would absolutely recommend this place and we would love to come back and stay here again. Breakfast was different from what we are used to but found it very interesting and light, healthy.

Absolutely wonderful. Great location, (short walk to two stations), lovely vibes, kind and accommodating staff. Had a great stay and would happily stay there again.

Not really a negative, but the deluxe room we had was a little bit small for three adults and their luggage. We made it work without issue, but something to keep in mind!

The staff was excellent, the room very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was totally wonderful - both the actual food and the whole experience of it. We only stayed one night here before going to the airport, so our time was very limited.

The surrounding area immediately around the hotel wasn't so pretty or nice. We did get to walk (during the day) to the nearby Museum & Garden, next to the Zoo. So that was a great bonus & experience.

The room was big, very clean and the staff pretty friendly. You have the subway nearby or even you can walk. It was a perfect stay!

Nothing, everything was perfect

The Buddhist connection seemed to enhance the peacefulness and grace of the hotel. The breakfast, a Buddhist one, was very well done. Generally, it was a pleasure to stay here.

No onsen

We enjoyed our stay here - the room was really comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was good as we could walk to where we wanted to go. We were only here for 2 nights but would have happily stayed longer!

The staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were small, and I felt it was a bit expensive for the value. The breakfast was okay, but I have much better ones in Japan. Also pretty expensive for value. The staff did all they can to help.

The staff was great! The breakfast was so good and traditional. We loved the rooms and the shower had great water pressure:)

Kind staff; very clean and well maintained. Peaceful. Close to shrines, Tennoji Park, zoo and museum.

At first, the location because it’s on a bust street next to many auto businesses BUT once inside, it’s a sanctuary and very peaceful.

Incredibly peaceful, relaxed atmosphere, staff was amazing, super attentive, helpful and considerate. Room was cozy, bath was delightful and the bed was very comfortable. 10 out of 10 for me.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were gracious and helpful. Beautiful room with tatami mats, quiet rooms for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious vegetarian Japanese style in the morning.

Not in an area with a lot of restaurants but a lot of auto shops.

Walkable to many nice sights and subways. They offered baggage transfer to our next hotel and it arrived the same day with no problems. Everything was super clean and staff was very friendly !
