Sarasa Hotel Shinsaibashi

Very accessible to train station, konbini,, restaurants.

Quite central location, being walking distance to dotonbori and various train stations. Price is very competitive too. Breakfast is very good too and I appreciate the early check-in provided to me.

Booked triple bed 30m size room. Came with a big bathroom and a separate toilet. Best big room in Osaka so far.

No drinking water available at all, which should be free in all rooms. They have free coffee downstairs tho, and a 711 right beside the hotel.

First off, the highlight of this hotel is Ashraf. He was so helpful in reception with my bag and check in. Always had a smile on his face and made you feel welcome. He helped me so much with sending my luggage to the airport and to my next hotel destination. The location of this place is also amazing, just a few steps from the metro and within walking distance from other major stations and dotunbori.

Only one thing really, it said you could borrow weighing scale. But when I asked from the evening receptionist, she said they didn't have any nor a measuring tape. They only had the scale in the lobby. That was free to use. The next day though, the morning receptionist was able to help me and helped me measure my luggage with a measuring tape.Oh and that the balcony I had was shared so if left the curtains open, the room next door can look into my room from the balcony. It would also be nice if they changed the slippers. Wider hallways might also be nice.

They know my birthday and decorate my room with birthday themes thank u sooo much and it’s neat to many facilities and metro

Maybe the floor in the room it’s bet old

I like the floor that is not a carpeted . I think it easy to clean and the flush toilet is very clean

the location was great. closed to a lot of stations and attractions. perfect location got exploring on foot or branching out.

the room and bathroom was tiny. the bed was also hard :( and the blanket was not big enough for two people.

The facility was relatively old, and they didn’t have in-room instructions regarding the hotel service.

Great location if you need to watch events like me. Locating in the middle of OSAKA JO-Hall and Kyocera Dome. The staffs were very nice and helpful.First I got into the room, there was a tiny moth on the curtain. I am not good with insects so I went down to the reception and the staff immediately took a tissue and help me got rid of it. I guess the back door linking to the balcony was used by their staff during cleaning so the moth got in.There were only 2 laundry machines at the hotel but they provide map and instructions to those coin laundry shops nearby.Very deep bathtub, love it.Convenience store next to the hotel and also many other options nearby. Lawson/ 7-11/ fam-mart all within 5 mins walk. Yoshinoya and Mos burger in the same street. Sukiya within 10mins walk.Shinsaibashi n Dontonbori about 10-20mins walk. And a lot of Chicken Paitan Ramen options within the area.Not many options of amenities but comparing to the price of the hotel it’s quite fair.

No freezing function in the fridge.No space for drying my clothes in the bathroom.The room got a humid smell.

It was right next to the station and a 10 min walk from shinsaibasgi. Great access.

I was given wrong room number after check in, and we were trying to get in after a long day so this was very frustrating. All we got was an apology and maybe (?) some snacks that were left after the room was cleaned 2 days later. I don’t know if this was distributed to all guests or just us.

Old hotel, a lot of stains on the wall, stain on bed sheet as well, very disgusting. There was very bad smell came from the washroom. The receptionists were nice in overall, just one lady in black skirt in Sunday morning shift, she was extremely rude and ignorant. My friend is Japanese but said that she was very rude as well, i guess it wasn’t about the language barrier.
