My stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka was excellent, and the service was outstanding. I would, however, suggest enhancing the breakfast experience. Increasing the variety of dishes, improving the freshness of pastries, and ensuring timely replenishment would help bring the breakfast offering in line with the hotel’s otherwise exceptional standards.

I have always enjoyed an exceptional stay at the Ritz-Carlton Osaka, and it has long been our preferred hotel whenever we visit the city. The staff in the Club Lounge continue to be outstanding — their service remains the highlight of the property. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the rest of the hotel during my recent stay.Despite spending over a million yen on the suite, we were unexpectedly charged for breakfast on our final morning. When I presented my booking — which clearly stated that breakfast was included — the reception staff dismissed it and cited a “hidden clause” differentiating lounge breakfast from the restaurant downstairs. This was particularly surprising, as no such issue arose during our stay a year ago under the same booking conditions.The explanation was abrupt, poorly handled, and reflected a significant decline in management standards. It left the impression that leadership may have changed, and unfortunately, so has the level of professionalism.I do not expect my review to affect an establishment of this size, but I do hope it serves as a reminder that consistently high standards are what define the Ritz-Carlton experience. When service falls below that benchmark, the guest experience suffers.I wish the team the best and hope to return in the future — if I hear that the hotel has returned to the level of excellence it was once known for.

Had a great comprehensive buffet breakfast for all ages, excellent gym facilities, rooms had great city view. Staff is very professional and rooms a good size.

It isn’t walking distance to stores or tourist sights, although taxis are always waiting.

Everything was spectacular, the staff specifically the doormen and Mr. Lee, the staff at the lounge they made us what we want even if not available at the menu. Also i forgot my watch and they sent it back to my country which we really appreciated

Everything went well. Right from check in to check out. The staff was just excellent. The staff at the Lounge Bar and at the Splendido restaurant were extremely warm and were always looking after us. The Concierge, the bell staff and room service everyone as just excellent. Mr. Simon Finch was super welcoming and very warm and ensured our needs were met.

The Ritz-Carlton Osaka is everything you'd expect from a hotel of this quality. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The staff and service were amazing. The area around the hotel was great, we walked most places and it was reasonably easy to navigate to other areas like Dotonbori.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the quiet atmosphere made for a great night's sleep.The hotel’s location was excellent — close to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport, yet peaceful enough to feel like a retreat from the city’s bustle. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the quality toiletries to the thoughtful touches like complimentary water and coffee.Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. The service throughout our stay was consistently attentive without being intrusive. A standout feature was the excellent Chinese restaurant on-site — the food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return on our next visit. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, quality, and excellent service.

The Ritz-Carlton Osaka did not disappoint us, as we have experienced other properties from this brand. It was consistently comfortable, classy, and the staff were always ready to assist. The breakfast could use some improvement, but aside from that, we had a wonderful time.

The Ritz-Carlton Osaka certainly lives up to its name in terms of sheer opulence. The hotel exudes luxury from the moment you step into the grand lobby. Additionally, we were bowled over by the hotel's truly exceptional customer service. The staff were attentive, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. We felt pampered and cared for throughout our stay.A highlight of our experience was the afternoon tea. Served in the elegant hotel lounge, it was an unforgettable experience. The delicate pastries, savory sandwiches, and exquisite selection of teas were simply divine. It was, without a doubt, the best afternoon tea we have ever enjoyed.

We found our room to be slightly less impressive than those we've experienced at similarly priced hotels in other prime Japanese cities. While comfortable and well-appointed, it lacked a certain "wow" factor we were anticipating. Additionally, we feel we have to mention the hotel's check-out policy, which we hadn't been aware of. Upon check-in, we were required to pay the full room cost (which is standard across Japanese hotels and had been expected from our side), however this also included an unexpected "withholding fee" which we hadn't been made aware of at check-in and were only informed of it when we flagged later that evening. Then, at check-out, we were asked to pay the same room cost amount again. While the initial payment, including the withholding fee, was eventually refunded after several days, this policy caused unnecessary confusion and stress. Whilst this was unavoidable and seems to be standard at this particular hotel (we did not experience this at other luxury hotels in Japan), a huge amount of confusion and stress would have been removed if this had been explained at check-in.

It’s an elegant and lavish hotel in the business district of Umeda, some 5 min walk to Osaka station. The rooms are located from the 24th floor and above, so you‘re guaranteed sweeping views over Osaka. As customary for The Ritz-Carlton, our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, pristine clean, with lots of nice touches, Dyptique toiletries. Our New Year‘s Eve‘s dinner at La Baie was above all praise- excellent service, delicious food and a refined ambience. Equally, the food was top-notch in other restaurants we visited.

Great location, conveniently located next to station, the staff here are god gifted people to humanity. They are kind, humble, attentive, thoughtful, caring and will go above and beyond. If we ever visit Osaka again this is the only property we would stay at. Just wow. Also had dinner at their Cantonese restaurant last night and it ended up being the best Chinese dinner I have had in my life. Just amazing overall experience from start to finish. Miss them and having serious withdrawals at the moment.

incredible service - from the moment we left our car and even beyond checkout, our every need was carefully attended to including booking my daughters and I in for a private teeppnyaki meal in their Japanese restaurant. Suite was large and had all the amenities you require and more including pjs and dressing gowns. beds were very comfortable and room service meals were extremely good. Spa service (massages) were some of the best we have had. However the standout throughout our stay has been the incredible service and I would like to say a very big thanks to Simon the Hotel Manager who went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after and comfortable. Not only were we allowed to check out an hour later than normal but Simon made sure that we had a comfortable place to relax while waiting for our flight and gave us great hints and tips on what to see in Osaka during our stay. Without question the best experience we have had at the Ritz
