Just the physical location.

The front desk is manned by those who do speak neither Japanese nor English fluently. None of them smiles. In the room, BBC channel did not come on, and I reported it to the front desk. He was aware of that and told me to watch something else.

Staff communicates well and very helpful with directions. Direct access from hotel to underground metro which is very convenient.Breakfast is decent but the second day becomes.boring already. Selection is fine.

Room is smaller than described. Hardly enough room to open up a medium luggage and be able to move around. Shower is roomy but sink area is so tight that elbows bumped into walls on both sides. Insufficient lighting.

Room was clean, linens were clean, bed was comfortable, check in staff very pleasant and helpful. The entrance to subway was right next door. Money exchange machine downstairs. Easy check in and check out. Hotel was located very close to restaurants and shopping.

No vending machines in the hotel. You have to go across the street or around the corner to get drinks and snacks. We couldn't find the exit to the hotel from the subway station.

Easy access to main transport hub at Umeda, This was a fine affordable hotel given we only slept there. On the whole, no complaints at all though. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Not easy walking distance to main entertainment and shops downtown in the winter cold. Only a couple of stops on the train though. Room and bathroom were tiny compared to other Japanese hotels we stayed at. Basic toiletries only.

Great value for money, breakfast each day on property was convenient.

Desk staff could have explained best access to Subway - which is below the hotel - but no one told us there is internal access! We traipsed off all over the place through confusing streets and malls!

Very good breakfast. Handy location for shopping, sightseeing as well as train and subway connections. Within easy walking distance to many restaurants.

The bed took almost the entire room. No room to walk around the bed or place suitcases. That room #313 needs a smaller bed and it will be fine.

We loved the location of this property as it had a direct connection via elevator to Osaka Station and was easy walking distance to some really great shopping and sightseeing areas. Bonus that there was an adorable cat cafe in the very next building on the second floor. We had the unfortunate luck of arriving at this hotel stay after we had been hospitalized so we were not on our best form, which makes my review all the more important because we were treated SO kindly as we spent our post-hospital days here, moving very slowly and not doing a whole lot. There was a 7-11 directly across the street and some great shopping spots very closeby. The hotel helped us with luggage transfer and the breakfast buffet was a godsend. There was everything from classic Japanese breakfast, to salads and casseroles and delicious breads, buns, and cakes. We were desperate for coffee and loved the coffee machines. I would definitely stay here again!!

We liked absolutely everything about this hotel. Especially the kindness and attentiveness of the staff.

Great breakfast. Location is near Osaka and Umeda stations. Nice area with lots of eateries and convenient stores.

Tight toilet and shower. Small room but enough space for 2 large luggage. Nevertheless, still a bit tight. It is what it is in Japan I supposed.

The location was ideal for our needs. With a connection to the underground subway system to Osaka and being in the heart of the Umeda district, we were close to all the activities we needed to go to. Despite the proximity, we didn’t have many issues with noises from the city streets.

The room was smaller than what we were used to but that’s apparently very common in most Japanese hotels. Not an issue but if you travel with many luggage’s and more people, you may need to upgrade your room size.

Location was great, within walking distance to train, restaurants and shops.

Was charged for breakfast when it had already been included in the booking, so had to sort that out. The room was TINY, and there was no onsite laundry facilities even though it had laundry listed on the website

The location of the hotel is good but can be a little hard to find the first time. The breakfast is very good and the fact that you get unlimited filter bottle water was a plus.

Location with direct access to Umeda station. Clean room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
