Beautiful rooms, spacious, light, extra clean.

Large room

Room smelled terribly of smoke, carpets dirty, restaurants were very expensive and bad food.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were a good size for Japan standards and very nice.

Great location, amazing staff, good food, well maintained & attended rooms, shuttle service runs like a clock work,well priced for the value ...what more can a person can ask? And... we travel a lot! This was one of the best experiences we had in a Hotel!

I love the Imperial Hotel Osaka for its timeless Shōwa-era beauty and refined hospitality. The atmosphere carries a quiet elegance that feels increasingly rare, and the service is consistently warm and attentive.This was my second stay, and I was happy to return. It remains a place where tradition, comfort, and care are beautifully maintained.

My husband and I will always remember a large harvest moon coming up over Osaka's twinkling lights on a clear November evening, from the comfort and beauty of the lounge here. It's a beautiful lounge with sparkling wine and light snacks available. With a beautiful view of the city. The hotel is cleaned to a very high standard.They even put a freshly cut flower in our bathroom every day. The water pressure in the shower was great. The breakfast buffet was very good, especially the fresh fruit which was delicious. And the eggs Benedict prepared by chefs. They provided Japanese food and Western breakfast food. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. We stayed 4 nights and didn't want to leave

We had to take a taxi or walk 15 minutes to the train. So getting around town was possibly a little inconvenient, as a regular tourist.

The Imperial hotel is in an excellent location with a wonderful view of the river. The staff were very attentive to every detail in this luxury hotel.

Location is a little far from transportation

We stayed at the Imperial Hotel in Osaka during our recent trip to Japan, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We’ll admit we’re a bit of hotel snobs when we travel. We usually stay at properties like The Peninsula, Ritz-Carlton, or Four Seasons, but during our visit those brands were double the price. We found a suite at the Imperial through Booking.com and decided to give it a try. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice.The VIP check-in experience felt very personal and elegant, the kind of welcome you only get at truly world-class hotels. The staff treated us with genuine kindness and professionalism from start to finish. Our suite was stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and with a breathtaking view overlooking Osaka. Everything felt carefully thought out and perfectly maintained.We were traveling with an elderly family member who uses a wheelchair, and the way the staff handled that was remarkable. Every single person we encountered went out of their way to make sure she was comfortable and taken care of, whether it was helping with access, arranging transportation, or simply offering a warm smile. That level of care meant so much to us.The Teppanyaki restaurant at the top of the hotel was such a treat. Real authentic experience, NOT Benihana's! I would highly recommend it. We’ve stayed at some of the best hotels around the world, and this experience was right up there with them. In fact, it was the best hotel stay of our entire trip throughout Asia. If there were such a thing as a six-star rating, the Imperial Hotel Osaka would earn it without question.

We hated that we had to leave after 2 nights. We could have stayed a week.

The Imperial Hotel Osaka is a fabulous property. There is a separate building for the fines center. The views are amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I never wanted to leave!

Nothing was bad!!

One of the best hotels we have ever used. Staff was extremely helpful. Room service was exceptional. Everything was cleaned to perfection. Water pressure was amazing and the shower was great with lots of soft towels

The property is a truly 5-star hotel with all luxory services at a beautiful location near the river. The location is quite close to the city centre but a taxi is required because it is not close to a metro station.
