Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka

The room is big, good breakfast.The hotel is sitting right above a train station, which makes easier to catch a ride. In particular, there is a direct bus to KIX airport.

It is about half hour walk from the buzzling Dotonbori or Namba. Catching a bus or train takes about the same time.

The breakfast is not very Japanese and extremely good as advertised

Room size, location, cleanliness, staff, house keeping.

Pool and spa was an additional fee. Considering the hotel is a fair bit more expensive than most in Osaka, this should be part of the expense. If there is a fee, it should be a one off for the duration of the stay and not per use.

We like having a couch, I had requested close to the elevators & we were, I have difficulty walking long distances, maid services were great

The room was very clean and spacious. Staff was very helpful.

Being told by cleaning staff to call front desk to request more napkins for the room.

Slower elevators than expected.

Dissappointing

The swimming pool was closed and we didn't know about it until we arrived. Should have been told as we would have booked somewhere else . I was visiting with my family from uk and Australia

Great location for arrival by Kintetsu train and catching Osaka subway stations, big comfortable bed.

As I faced the main street, I could hear beeping of crosswalk below and rumble of trains.

The rooms needs to be freshen up, not possible to regulate the temperature, furniture shows signs of of age

Train and subway, convenience store, and major department store (Kintetsu) steps away from the hotel. Rooms recently renovated. Direct Kansai Airport limousine bus service to and from airport/hotel.

Bed was comfortable. Locations good. Subway connected to hotel.

It’s not five star. I paid a very high rate as it was listed 5 star but it’s definitely not a five star. Staff not helpful beds uncomfortable I paid for superior comfortable but the beds were no near comfortable. The staff could not even order a taxi for me terrible.

Staff not helpful, rooms very small, I would not call that 5 star it’s a 3 star. Not comfortable at all even though I paid premium. Would never stay there again.

Convenient and close to train and shopping mall. Direct airport limousine bus from airport to hotel. Clean and comfortable room. Room size was great for three people.

The hotel is situated in a good location, and makes the traveling to various places simple. The staffs are all very welcoming, and for my personal experience this time, I realized that my headphone was still in my room after I checked out and left the hotel. When I returned to the hotel and approach the front desk, the staff made a quick phone call and my headphone was returned to me promptly.

The weather is a bit cold and I couldn’t find the switch when I tried to turn up the heat. Also, the air conditioner only allows changes from low, medium to high level, but does not have temperature setting.

Clean comfortable quiet room, also quite large. Hotel has a bar & restaurant. Hotel further out from city centre than I would have liked but train station located very close by.

Quite a long way from Shinkansen station. Staff very efficient but not overly friendly.

Location is good as the subway is below the hotel. The airport limousine bus stop is also infront of the hotel.

Soundproofing was not that good. During my stay, the guests directly upstairs were very noisy. Every night after 10pm and up to 2am, there will be constantly heavy footsteps. Its like someone running around doing exercise. I made the complain to the front desk. I am not sure if the hotel staff took any action because i could still hear heavy footsteps but not so often after that.

It’s right next to the train station, great location. The bed sheets and bath towels provided are of great quality and comfortable.

The management could have been better. We found a piece of luggage left by the former guests. And also forgotten T-shirt in the closet left by unknown guests.
