Hotel Seagull Tenpozan Osaka

Liked absolutely nothing except it was good to walk around the hotel (not the hotel it self)

Breakfast absolutely horrible, had 8 croissants because all menu was in japanese and didn't look fresh. Staff not even in the reception

The breakfast was disappointing, very limited and changed varied only one dish from day to day. The location was good, close to the mall, attraction and public transportation.

The breakfast was disappointing, not worth the price.Huge advertisements for a lunch that did not exist.The toilet seat and refrigerator were both broken.No working electrical outlet near the bed for a CPAP machine.

I loved the view.. it was absolutely gorgeous!!!

The smell of the from was musky, the shower curtain was molded, the bed was hard as a rock and there was a tiny couch that was stained and looked like it was bought from a thrift store..

The location is awesome walking distance to stations and major attractions. The breakfast is good but from there it went downhill.

The room was just okay cleanliness wise, Power points don't always work, the only place to charge your phones overnight is the bathroom, main room power points only work when the main light switches are on. Air-conditioning is hotel wide not controlled in room and seems to be to run intermittently got to 25C in our room before it turned on. Refrigerator barely cools.The staff are friendly but speak little English, we were told check in was 3 pm, we sat and watched numerous locals checked in from 2 pm. All in all an interesting experience.

The closeness of the public transport and the markets.

Escalators didn't work, convenience store never open, restaurant closed. Extremely limited WiFi

No air conditioner in the room, hard to believe. Only a small air cleaner and the room is so hot.

Breakfast as not included in the room plan which was really disappointing.

The non-comfortable beds, staff's response.

Near to station both bus and train. It’s convenient because the supermarket and drugstore are near in case of emergency. I like also the view from my room. Sunset view also good. I love the Bible inside the room.

There was a smell that need to get rid off in the room. Quite dusty also. Please clean the bathroom sink because there was rubbish inside of it. Much better to put cover to avoid rubbish fall inside. Please vacuum the air conditioner and the ventilator from the entrance of the room. There’s a lot of dust. It will be cooler of there will be no dust. Please clean also the molds in the bathrooms.

Location was okay for aquarium.

The staff were not good, the escalators were broken and the room absolutely stunk of cigarettes

The facility is a little dated but clean

I was skeptical at first after reading the bad reviews of other people but it was super cheap for 2 nights & really close to the aquarium & usj which were our objectives of the trip. The room was really spacious with a single sofa & coffee table, this was such a rare thing as most hotel rooms in japan are cramped & not as spacious. The toiletries provided were good & they even provided new ones for our second day even when we forgot to put the cleaning sign on the room door. The hotel is also just a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station & a 3 min walk to 7-eleven. Overall it was a really good deal & comfortable stay, my husband said we should stay here again if we were to go to osaka again.

The parking fees was so confusing at first because they had third party parking at the hotel.

Location was great. So close to Kaiyukan and market place.

The room was ocean view.

Chosen a guestroom with bathroom with bath tub that looks out into the open. Nice.

The guestroom’s furniture and furnishings need to be upgraded.

The room is very spacious, it is very near to Universal studios japan, and at least a 30minute drive to the airport.

The nearest 7eleven was a bit far. It takes time to book for transportation

1, Nice location with bus stop downstairs (level 1) can be accessed to Osaka station and other JR station, if you have metro/bus pass it’s a good place to stay. And 500m to metro station.2, close to ocean park(just so close to the hotel by level 2) and USJ( take a ferry to or take metro with 2 transportations) 3, nice price about only usd $80 per night, and there’s two other beds with mattress under the separate beds, it’s good for family stay, I take my parents (old people) then we just ordered one room but have a nice sleep.3, less guests. We didn’t even see anyone else staying at this hotel. 4, limousine bus only from 11 am can take it by the wonder wheel

Good spacious room - a little outdated but all kept clean.

I like the bathroom at executive twin room. but it was different from the photo uploaded when I booked it. Sofa was different too.

it was very hot where we ate our breakfast. air condition was okay at the lobby but when you go to the restaurant it was hot. it was at the same floor.

The coastal scenery in the morning is beautiful. But the afternoon sun was severe.

The room and bathroom were dirty. There is almost no way to access the Internet if the wifi signal is weak. Lots of small holes in the wall. Mosquitoes in the room. will not visit again

The location and view were the best.

I normally stay at budget hotels, so keep that in consideration with what I’m about to say.They could’ve easily spent a little more money to make this place more comfortable.*these are not ranked in order just several thing I personally noticed 1) Ice bucket with no way to get ice that I could find (I’m used to no ice bucket, so having one but not supplying a way to it was WEIRD to me)2) no bed stand = leaving phone on the other side of the room to charge and no way to keep water close by (I had spent the entire day outside and would’ve preferred a way to rehydrate comfortably)3) no perceivable body soap - I found face cleanser and hand wash but nothing denoting body wash4) only trial sized shampoo and conditioner - in Japan I’ve noticed most hotels prefer to use the bigger size bottles as an economical compromise5) no lotion from what I could see - I had gotten sunburnt and was excited to apply some to keep my burn from drying out but instead had to go out to get some6) no charger - had to buy my own, In this case even asked front desk staff which said “oh, there’s so many rooms? How can we have a charger for everyone? (There are other hotels that are around the same price as you that do, lady at the front desk.)7) no air conditioner or escalator on arrival - I can only guess that the hotel is trying to cut costs and is hurting during Corona (albeit I felt sorry for the staff since they were obviously running a fan in their waiting room)

Close proximity to USJ and Tempozan Ferris Wheel and Aquarium.

Uncomfortable beds. Beds were too stiff as well as the pillows. We had to use our pillows from the car.
