    Pros +

    • Location
    • Very good location.
    • We stayed in the Japanese tatami room, which was a refreshing change from the usual modern hotel room. Sleeping on the futon was more comfortable than expected. A big plus was having a balcony with a lovely view of the neighborhood rooftops, and the washing machine out there was a very welcome surprise. The late 11 a.m. checkout time was much appreciated. Breakfast was available as well, although we ended up skipping it. Dotonbori was also within walking distance, which made the location even better.

    Cons -

    • Bathroom was very small and bed was not comfortable at all. The frame was making noise every time we turned while sleeping
    • The bathroom is very small and uncomfortable. And very disappointed with the “breakfast”. There were just a few slices of bread and jelly and some noodles.
    • Out of the three hotels we stayed at in Japan, this one had the smallest bathroom and the toilet was a basic one without the typical high-tech features. Overall it did the job for the one night we stayed.

Wonderful location. Clean room, comfortable beds. Nice group bath as well as small one in room.

Room is small, but that is the norm in Japan. Breakfast every day was runny sauce made with scrambled eggs and what tasted like melted Velveeta (over rather nice rice). But it was free, so really can’t complain.

Really clean and with everything that you need, also appreciated the breakfast

really small room (but it's japan standard so it's ok)

The Staff were friendly and very helpful. The size of the room was ok and the bed and pillows were great. The location was near the Tsutenkaku Tower, Mega Don Quijote and the Metro.

The breakfast was a disappointment and nothing to be desired of. They could improve the offers. Amenities was the normal. The location was not in the center.

Comfortable traditional accommodation in a great location. Luggage transfer and onsite laundry were greatly appreciated. Would recommend.

    Good location and nice staff

You can hear the sound from other room

Location was superb! Ebisucho station is just 2 mins walk and Spa world abt 5 mins away. Lots of restaurants around. Cafes open from 10am though. The 2 singles bed room I booked comes with tatami and is quite spacious. Bed is comfortable but not the pillow. It has free breakfast but it's very basic with toast and fried rice/noodles.

The toilet is quite tiny but I was quite amazed it can still squeeze in a bathtub. Toilet flushing system is quite old and you can hear the water refilling the cistern tank for a good 1 min or so. Pillow was a bit too soft for my liking.

I like that its close to shops and restaurants, walking distance to Don Quijote is a big plus. Room is clean and staffs are friendly.

No early check in, we have to wait at exactly 3pm before we can have room number to check in.

    Rooms were bigBathrooms were small

Breakfast was horrible. Burned coffee, paper plates and every day the same noodles. No thanks

The only positives: the price is relatively low, and a free breakfast is included. While it wasn’t fancy, it was sufficient. However, the dining area is extremely small—about the size of a closet—and can barely accommodate 10 people at a time.

Out of two weeks traveling around Japan, this was the most disappointing hotel we stayed at.The location isn’t ideal—with the entrance to a busy market/shopping street, which makes the area noisy and congested. The lobby is the size of a closet, and check-in is strictly at 3:00 PM. We arrived just 15 minutes early and were told to wait, as the system didn’t allow early check-in. While we were waiting, other guests arrived exactly at 3:00 PM and were helped before us, even though we had been waiting longer. This felt disorganized and unlike the typical hospitality we experienced throughout Japan. The room was a decent size but felt worn and not as clean as expected. Most importantly, the sound insulation was practically nonexistent—you could hear everything from neighboring rooms, the hallway, and the street! It honestly reminded me of a very cheap motel in the U.S.Also worth noting: the pictures online do not reflect the reality of the hotel. The photos appear to be edited or taken long ago—the property does not look as clean or new in person.

Wifi is slow. Room size is ok, but bathroom is really small. great location, near station

    10AndrewsPosted on: 5-28-2025

Amazing room, free breakfast, 30 seconds from one station, 5 minute walk to another.

Location isn't the nicest spot in osaka but proximity to stations makes up for that

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in Osaka. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease right away. One of the highlights was the shower — even if the shower head was moving towards the wall. The room was equipped with thoughtful amenities, including a boiler and a proper closet, which added to the comfort. I also appreciated the option to leave my luggage at the hotel free of charge after check-out — a convenient service for travelers.

The main drawbacks were related to the breakfast and check-in experience. The breakfast area felt a bit cramped, and the selection of food could have been more varied. Additionally, the check-in process was slower and less intuitive than expected, which could be improved for a smoother arrival.

Love the bathroom, the bed so cosy, there was even a balcony with a view. i love the small table and cushion on the floor and the huge cabinet. Plus point the cabinet shelves are kid friendly as i can organize my things without my kid interrupting (shelves are big and tall enough). my baby love the bath tub, even its quite small, just nice for my little family

It is good value for a budget hotel that comes with a simple free breakfast. The room was comfortable, clean and pretty spacious. TV came with netflix and youtube as well! It is also conveniently located close to the train stations!

Though the room itself was spacious, the shower for our room (deluxe double) was kinda small. And this area is kinda dodgy, so I wouldn't want to stay here if I'm a solo-female traveller.

    10LuuPosted on: 4-21-2025

I love the Japanese style of the room (mats, furniture, artwork, beds). Room was very spacious and clean. The staff was very polite and helped me with the registration+check in. Hotel was located in the heart of shinsekai neighborhood so walking was convenient. Loved the breakfast, it was much delicious than other breakfast options we had in the area.

I didn't like that we were only given one key card to use and if we were to forgot the card after a certain time, there would be no receptionist to assist with room entry. Other than that, the air conditioner machine keeps leaking water when running and the tv volume button stops going up after 25.
