Pros +
- Location
- The room was very efficiently designed. Small but that?s what I paid for. The bathroom and shower were great!
- I loved the proximity to the metro station. It's wonderful to go downstairs and just be able to hop on the train in any direction.
Cons -
- One of the staff was very rude, unlikely for Japan. The room was extremely small.
- I asked the front desk for a concierge to help make a restaurant rsvp. They said they didn't have one so I asked if any of the five front desk agents could assist me. They were all reluctant and said no. I offered my CC to hold the rsvp and still said no.
- I would have appreciated more electrical outlets closer to the bed, and a little space between the beds.

Cannot beat the location!
I would have appreciated more electrical outlets closer to the bed, and a little space between the beds.
Ease of travel as it is next to the Shin-Osaka Train Station. Using the Shinkansen for long distance travel, made the hotel ideal.
Restricted access before 5:30am. Since the hotel is connected to the train station, having the ability to walk around in the early morning was restricted unless you attempted to go outside in the 40 degree temp.
Remm Shin-Osaka is in a very convenient location, making it easy to access transport and the Shinkansen trains as it is sitting on top of the train station. The rooms are on the smaller side, but this is quite typical for Japan. A pleasant surprise was the massage chair in the room—something we didn’t expect at all. I managed to use it twice a day to relax and soothe aching muscles after long days of walking.
Very clean, quiet, nice compact room layout, great bathroom, with spectacular view of the city, a wide array of amenities available at the front desk, with pleasant staff, enjoyable breakfast service, and quick entry to Shin-Osaka station.
We stayed here for just one night to rest up after a long flight and then continued with our itinerary the next day. Very easy to reach from Kansai airport. I liked the rain shower a lot. The staff were very kind and helped us forward our luggage to our next destination. The beds were also comfortable and the hotel was quiet, so for our purposes it was perfect.
The room was quite small, but we didn't mind since we were only staying for one night and sending our big suitcases ahead anyway. We knew it would be small, so it wasn't a big deal. I think the location is great for people in transit, but if you are staying in Osaka for several days, I would recommend looking for something in a more charming location.
The location and staff was excellent!! Very attentive to details and professional. The ease of going to the hotel through the train station was just superb, making the first time travelers like us feel easy to navigate.
The room is really small. Although it was well design, it was tough to move around in the room.
The location is awesome. The ambience is nice. Quiet and Smoking corner is near which is great. Everything is comfortable when it comes to the bed and pillow.
The lighting shld have an option to make it bit brighter but it is not a big deal.
Location, location, location Staff were nice
Small rooms but it was expected. Other than that everything else is perfect
The hotel is located within the Mall of Shin-Osaka Station. The room is small but manageable for a solo traveler. The bed and pillows are comfortable, the bathroom is great, and the cleanliness of the room is good.
One thing to note is that the room is a bit small, so if more than one person is staying, would suggest booking a bigger room. Had read feedback from others about finding the hotel, so I was mentally prepared, but it still took a bit of navigating before finding the direction signs for the hotel.
I loved the shower and the bed is so soft that i slept well.
Location location location. Small room but everything you need is there and everything works. Great restaurant downstairs. (Nice leather slippers in the room also available for purchase.)
Convenient location basically in the train station
A massage chair & a table in the room left very little space to move around.
Close to transportation. Right on the top of Shin Osaka train station.Clean room.
Don’t have coin laundry, have to walk out the station to wash clothes
convenient location for Shinkansen and JR lines. we ventured into Dontonbori very easily.
room size was very compact compared to others we had stayed at during our stay in Japan
Staff was great! Very helpful even with my lack of Japanese language abilities. Room had a very nice view. After a 16+ hour flight and ~1 hour train ride, it was nice to just crash and sleep. Hotel was very quiet so sleeping was easy. Will definitely stay again.
Breakfast was handled by a restaurant that seemed to be independent of the hotel. I was expecting the hotel to have a restaurant in-house. The hotel was also not the easiest to find.
Very convenient location in Shin Osaka Station near Shinkansen central exit. Many restaurants and shopping nearby in station building. Staff is very helpful.
If you plan on using Osaka as a base to catch the Shinkansen, then book this hotel. You are basically right above the station itself and an elevator ride away from catching the Shinkansen, subway or other train lines, which makes it super convenient. Mind you, Shin Osaka is a big station so you might get lost, too. Also, if you are a tourist, breakfast was included which will help get the busy day of sightseeing started.
The rooms are super small so plan on unpacking your luggage on the bed or floor.
