Hotel Shin Osaka

Close to station, efficient chck in, cleaning

Very close to the Osaka Shinkansen station. We only stayed one night prior to taking a bullet train (Shinkansen) to Tokyo. It was perfect for this, very convenient to the train station and amenities. It took about three minutes to walk to the station in the morning. Excellent for travellers.

The rooms are small. It is good for a sleeping place to transit, but a bit cramped if you were staying longer.

Basic room but great location right across from the station. Ideal for a one night stay

Location is good, just next to train station. Staff are generally friendly. Food is ok.

We booked for 3 nights. Hotel moved us to a more compact room for the 3rd night. 4 beds were arranged side by side with no walking space in between. Friend left something in the previous accommodation and would like the item to be sent over using Yamato and ask hotel Shinosaka front desk to receive and pay when it arrived, charged to our room and we pay when checked out, however that cannot be done. We ended up collecting the item ourselves from Yamato office.Shower room cannot be locked.

Breakfast was a mega-variety of super delicious healthy food and beverages. Location was superior!

The bathtub creaked constantly while taking a shower, so we were a little concerned with this situation.

So close to shins osaka station made it very convenient.

There was a bit of mold or dirt on the shower curtain and trash in the corner of the room behind the desk I'm guessing they missed during cleaning.

The officer in the front office agreed to let us stay an extra 90 minutes to check out as a compliment. But at the point of checking out, they forwarded a bill for 4000 yuan and demanded repayment. I was disappointed.

space aside the beds could have been a little larger for suitcases.

The hotel was close to the station. The staff was friendly. Good amenities. Breakfast was nice.

Airport transportation would have been nice. No complimentary water bottle was provided. :(

Breakfast was outstanding with several fresh healthy options to select. The location was indeed prime as it was basically next to the main train station. Very nice!

It would have been even better if this hotel offered a complimentary welcome drink bar including coffee, tea, and water. Thank you.

I've stayed in this hotel before so I knew in advance what I was booking. I particularly like it's location due to it's proximity to the Shin-Osaka station, which saves a lot of time when you arrive or depart the city or just go on a daytrip from Osaka and back like I did. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are quiet and you have your privacy. Just don't expect nice views (the hotel is surrounded by blocks) or too much space. It covers all the basic needs for a solo travel so I would always check in here when/if I'm in Osaka again!

Location near Sjin Osaka station

Outdated, could be much nicer in the room with some paint, new curtains etc

Location was excellent. Very close to a main station from where we ventured to different areas including Kyoto and Nara as well as other areas of Osaka.

Although we booked smoking rooms (which were the only ones left), we didn't expect the smell to linger in one of the rooms for a long time even after deodorising.

The location was close to the Shin Osaka Station (walking distance) and a luggage transfer service (Yamoto Ltd. Kuro Neko) was nearby. Staff was great at holding our luggage for us until we could check in. Good spot if you are only staying in Osaka for a night or two.

Didn't realize I booked a smoking room. It was hard to sleep with the smoke smell. Be sure to book a non-smoking room.
