DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle

Beautiful view of the castle and access to the park.

Downside not really in a "neighborhood" so scarce good restaurants nearby.

Located just outside of Osaka Castle and has great views from the rooms.

Breakfast was just ok. Food for room service was cold.

The hotel was very clean, spacious, and accommodating.

We booked the King suite, but breakfast was not included. I feel like for the price, a meal should be included.

Awkward access to main line trains.

Very comfortable, high end fixtures, excellent system with several convenient options for bedside light control that I appreciated very much. Staff was very kind, courteous and helpful. Excellent location to easily walk to Osaka Castle Park. Fantastic view of Castle!

First time getting a room at the airport, so convenient to walk out the door into the airport good sized rooms with table and chairs. Excellent bedding with plush pillows.

Wonderful hotel right next to Osaka castle. Splurge on the Executive lounge - it's worth it at night for the drinks and view.

The service and staff were impeccable. They were very kind and helpful. We couldn’t have been happier.

Rooms: nice and spacious. Clean and very comfy beds.Staff: very friendly and spoke very good English.Walking distance to Osaka Castle. We grabbed a taxi from there and headed towards Dontobori.

Location: a little far from Dontobori and shopping. But managed to get around using taxi.

The hotel was of a fabulous standard. The food was great at both the breakfast and evening buffets - you had the choice of western or japanese style at both buffets, plenty of salads and fruit. Would definitely recommend

While breakfast has a great variety, it was mostly cold. Restaurant prices were over the top, we chose to always eat elsewhere.The room was spacious enough for an extra bed despite it not being an option and having to share the bed with 8 year old daughter.

Very new hotel with massive rooms and a great restaurant and bar. Staff were without exception friendly and courteous with excellent English. Views were great from all areas of the hotel.

It is a decent 5 min walk to the nearest tube and then you generally have to change tube line to get to the more popular spots such as Dotonbori. Immediate surrounding area (other than the castle grounds) is not very pretty - though there are some great local bars and restaurants.

Very nice hotel. The breakfast was good compared to other hotels we stayed in Japan. Very nice and warm staff, and cleaning quality was good.

A bit far from the center of Osaka (Namba and Dotonbori). The nearest train station in 10 minutes walk - which can be sometimes a bit tiring after long day trips.

Double Tree by Hilton was a great base for staying in Osaka. The view of Osaka Castle was amazing and so peaceful. You could walk in the Castle grounds across the road from the Hotel. Rooms were a great size and the beds were so comfortable. Staff were very friendly and obliging. Short taxi or train ride to Dotombori and the main centre of the town. Would stay here again.

The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful after our flight from Australia. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and knew where we were going. The courtesy umbrellas saved us as we didn’t bring our own and it was windy and raining.

It was a little bit of a walk to the station or bus stop, and the weather made this tough. But everything else was top notch.
