Hotel Osaka Castle

Location

Wasn’t the most clean or atleast the japan cleanliness standard one would expect. There was a giant cockroach in our room and naturally after that event we had to spend a whole excruciating day. Staff is hardly visible and everything is self service.

Placed near station and shopping mall, so it was really convenient. There was a public microwave in our floor. Front desk was really helpful.

Rooms a bit small

1. We had a river facing room on the 8th floor, a truly surreal experience.2. There was an air purifier in the room.3. The room featured adjustable lighting modes, with the switch located near the main door.4. A study table was there with lighting provided.5. The room was quite spacious compared to typical hotel rooms.

2. The room wasn’t as warm in comparison with Kyoto and Tokyo's Hotels.

Great location, close to everything, Temmabashi station right next door, rooms are good size, river views, clean and comfortable.

Breakfast is not good value at Y1600, staff English is poor, only one TV channel!!!. Decor is dated.

1. The location is beautiful, which is very close to the river, subway station, and Osaka castle park.2. The hotel is quite private with quiet place.3. There are convenient stores and cafe nearby.

The lobby is not at the entrance, you need to go to the 7th floor. There is no provided breakfast.

Great location, 20 minute walk to Osaka castle, metro station and shopping mall. We were Wonderful location andable to store luggage due to early arrival. When we returned after visiting the castle our luggage had been placed in our room.

The view of the river was superb!The breakfast was ok.The room temperature was ok.The beds were comfy.

The staff's English could use some improvement. ?

Very convenient location with smooth access from public transportation. Spacious room for price with great river view.This is not a brand new hotel but has good ambient.

The staff were fantastic, rooms are small, breakfast buffet awesome and the location is perfect.

Attached to a station (about 5-7 minutes to reach the platform) so it's convenient to get aroundAble to drop your key off to reception so you don't have to worry about it during the dayHelpful staff

Not very easy to find (turn right out of the station – not left!)Rooms were quite small and felt quite outdatedThe bathroom was modern and clean, really nice shower

Location of the property its just right next to everything!

Room is too small, I hope they automatically clean the room and guests will not need to drop by at the reception to drop the keys

It is in a good location overlooking the river , a close walk to the castle and has a shopping centre under the hotel with numerous restaurants and supermarkets.

The room looks a bit dated , unfortunately we had noisy neighbours who were quite inconsiderate at all hours.

Conveniently located close to Metro and J R-Station, only short walk to Osaka Castle, next to the river with Coffee-Shops and nice views. Also shopping-mall downstairs

rooms tend to be small in Japan - thats how it is. Design of the Hotel need a bit of a brush-up

Good location. On top of Temmabashi Station. 2 stations by subway to Umeda- Osaka Station.Direct line by Keihan Rail to Kyoto. Surrounded by shopping malls and restaurants.Close to Osaka Castle. Facing riverside.

Hotel is dated but clean.

The location was perfect as it was located on the river with a great view of the Tenjin Matsuri festival. Also it’s above a metro station and mall.

Beds are hard and its decor is a bit dated. It could use an upgrade however the price point is very good, so any upgrade would probably render the property much more expensive.

It was worth checking out and losing the money to find a cleaner place

Hotel room was very unclean. We actually checked out less than 30 minutes after checking to find a different place. Neither me or my significant other willing to sleep or take her shoes off. It was the worst place. We stayed in Japan.

Bed and pillow were comfy ! The AC was life savior. Close to the train station. The area was really nice/pretty and convenient. I will definitively came back. Breakfast was GREAT and staff was super nice. Wish breakfast had more choice of "sweet".

Room was a little smaller than what I expected. Not sure the little fridge was working but I did not need it. Couldnt make the tv works.. maybe it's lacking like an explanation how to turn it on..etc. Also wish there was a plug closer to the bed.

spacious room for four people and easy access to subway, parc and a great conveyor belt sushi restaurant a stone throw away (Daiki Suisan Kaiten Sushi - Tenmabashi branch)

the pillows were a bit hard for my liking, but that is quite individual of course
