good location

had a bad smell coming from bathroom tub had to keep it closed off with bathroom door closed. There was construction going on all around the hotel so very noisy and dusty. Wi-fi was not free.

Lovely stay at Hotel Arashi that was very comfortable and in a very convenient location. The double room was perfectly sized for the two of us and the hotel staff were very accomodating and lovely to deal with.

Nothing! Was a good stay. Would recommend as a budget option for travellers. Will be back soon!

Literally in front next to 3 metro entrances, which made it super convenient arriving from Kyoto, traveling throughout Osaka, and heading towards the airport. About an 8 minute walk from the famous Dotonbori, which also made it much more enjoyable. Room was surprisingly large and spacious for a Japanese hotel, with plenty of room to walk around and have 3 suitcases open without bumping into anything! Bed was comfortable and warm. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially at checkout! Our flight wasn’t scheduled until much later in the evening so we had to leave our luggage in the lobby while we walked around a bit more, and they gladly took it in. They also didn’t mind as we tried to repack our luggage in the lobby after our many purchases. Building provides washers & driers in the first floor and an outdoor smoking area. Comfortable stay overall if you need a simple but spacious room to sleep in Osaka!

Property definitely felt a bit dated, didn’t smell dirty per se but maybe a bit aged? There was a small section of the wall in the room that looked like it was either peeling or had been minorly punched through a bit. Toothbrushes, paste, razors, slippers, etc. provided were in the lobby where guests could grab it themselves daily, which wasn’t bad but also didn’t feel very classy. Considering how affordable the hotel was though not necessarily a complaint. Overall not something to write home about but very comfortable and convenient for a great price near Dotonbori!

Location was good. Walkable to most shopping streets

It’s a very basic room with no carpet , extremely small bathroom and toilet and no drinking water or filling stations. We had to call them for water. The beds were put against concrete walls with no cushioning . Bed frames were visible and we stubbed our toe against it few times. For the price point it was bare minimum , they also let Uber Eats delivery go to the room which I felt was unsafe.

Great position, right next to Namba station which gives you an easy access to trains, for example if you want to visit Kyoto. Rooms are quite spacious for the price payed.

There was a bright neon light next to my room. The tent were insufficiently long and wide to cover the whole window and black out the room. I’d change them for a new model. A minor inconvenience is that the shaving kit provided doesn’t have a shaving cream. The structure looks a bit outdated, especially the side facade.

Its really near the mrt station and namba iconic bridge! The price also affordable!

Excellent location facing the subway entrance. Clean hotel.

Check-in time at 4pm is completely unreasonable and uncomfortable for guests who are planning to visit osaka. There is also a strict check out at 11am policy.

It was right in front of the metro exit, very convenient. The staff spoke English well and were helpful. The room is of a typical Japanese hotel room size, good enough for two people. There was even some space to store you luggage.

It gets noisy at night because of bikers and noice cancellation is not the best

We loved the staff! They were very attentive and kind. The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. The location was great. We had access to everything we needed, and it was very easy to get to the train out to the airport when we did leave.

The rooms were a bit small, but I think it was good for the amount we paid.

Very good price for the room and location. The subway is less than 1 min from the subway. Hotel is in the center of Namba district, just 10 min walk to Dotonbori and around 30 min by subway to the top attractions like Aquarium, Umeda Sky Building and others.

Since the room is very small it was very stuffy and humid there after the shower.

Its location to the train station made getting around Osaka easy. And the addition of a coin laundry on property was a definite bonus.

Nothing. Last year I didn’t like having to find a laundry place, but they added one so no complaints.

We stayed at Hotel Arashi Namba and were very happy with our choice. The location is absolutely perfect – just steps away from the metro and within easy walking distance of Namba’s main attractions, shops and restaurants. For exploring Osaka, it’s hard to imagine a better base at this price level.The room was simple but clean and comfortable, exactly what we needed after long days out in the city. Staff were polite and check-in/check-out was smooth. Overall, it’s a great price–performance option in the heart of Osaka and we would happily stay here again.

A very straightforward hotel. Perfect for a few nights. The location is really good, next to one of the main subway stations.

There were some constructions going on on the street, so it was a bit loud/dusty. The room had all the basics, but nothing wow.
