The best hotel in Namba!

The location was perfect. It was connected to a mall, super near Namba city, Namba Park, the famous Dotonburi, the train stations. Every time we’re so tired from walking, we see the hotel sign reassuring us that we’re near to rest and relax.

The lobby area can be crowded especially when too many people are waiting for their trip to the airport.

Location was very convenient.

Pillows were too flat and soft. Shower water temperature fluctuates.

Staff was professional and provided outstanding service. Location at train stations, near shopping, great restaurants and historic sites made getting around Osaka very easy. Shopping centers and department stores offered great shopping.

Not much.

Not a 5 star hotel as advertised. Very dated rooms with few amenities.

Finding the hotel from the station was a nightmare. Locating elevators to go down and floor to get off was the same. No restaurant service after 10

Breakfast was wonderful. There was a lot of variety, and the restaurant had amazing views. We really enjoyed the buffet, and also, the staff were really nice. The took care of all of our needs. The location was awesome, right above the train station. It was really convenient. Lots of places to eat, including halal options.

Nothing, it was all good. A bit expensive, thats all.

Great location

Rooms were very small and looked old and dated.

It is clean and has maintained the property well. This is our second time at Swissotel Nankai Osaka.

The place is connected to the train station and to shopping areas.

Room was spacious and clean Staff were friendly and helpful

Entry to the lobby was a little troublesome, especially if you had to enter and exit multiple times a day

The best about this hotel is its location and breakfast.

The room size isn’t really big, the room amenities looks a bit old also.

- Great location! Close by to foods and cafes and grocery stores ( 7 eleven and Lawson ) - Good breakfast ( allergy information card on each food ) - lefts are fast and easy , Storage lockers close to the lefts on F1 - Concierge staff are so friendly and helpful they are the best staff in the hotel . - Also restaurants staff are so friendly and helping. - in the mall next to the hotel > Indian halal restaurant ( Spice Kingdom Namba CITY in the F1 Namba city )

Check in process - on booking.com I booked for 1 adult and 2 kids ( their ages 12 and 10 )clearly including breakfast and beds in the booking’s confirmation but when I arrived , the staff for check in told me that the booking is including only 1 adult per room for breakfast and I have to pay extra for each night for bed and breakfast for each kid ! , I decided to check in adding any additional costs to the final bill on check out , also holding an amount on Visa card equal to 30k Japanese yen , but also I complain to booking.com and on the time of check out they didn’t include any extra charges . But I found that frustrating a bit .

I can hear some noise from other room and slam the door so loud at night. So can’t deep sleep.

Location.Prompt service when I requested for an air purifier.

The room smelled of food . The air purifier that was provided didnt help eliminate the smell. Didnt get a good night sleep cause of the smell.

Did NOT live up to expectations

Breakfast cold. Room had noise coming from a missing part of window frame & could not convince staff to fix. On night before leaving I created an easy fix by blocking the missing part with a towel.

Very close to everything and the best part is that it’s attached to the station. So, you can easily access it from the airport.

Specifically just one staff upon our checkout, with no malice intended I called the staff “she” and was met with a very rude response literally to my face “I’m a man, I’m a man”. Very unpleasant, unprofessional, and rude.

We liked the location it was very conveniently located next to the Namba station with easy access to airport and to Dontonbori.

We stayed one night and there was nothing we did not like.

Loved the hotel - super easy quick check-in and express checkout was fab. Breakfast was amazing - and so gorgeous up there - cocktail bar was fab too. Staff was incredibly friendly. It was super easy to get to from the airport. Highly recommend!
