The pricing

The room was very overall is very small. No room for luggage. Had to slide it all underbed.

Location was great! Close to metro and walking distance to restaurants, 711 and Dotonbori

Bed mattress and pillows were a bit on the harder side but other than that, Stay was great

As a non smoking person, we booked for a non smoking room . But the room smells a little bit smoke of cigarette.

The staff was friendly.

The pillows were flat and hard. Only one bottle of water. The breakfast was meager for the amount paid.

The location is good- 3 min walk from the Shisaibashi Station.The room is small, but cozy, and has mostly everything you might need .A new set of towels, robs and toiletry was provided daily. AC can be managed from your room.

1.By the time of checking in ,the price of the stay was almost $50 higher then it was during the reservation on the Booking.com.It took a few hours to solve the problem.Mostly because the stuff doesn't speak English and there was a lot of miscommunications.It actually ruined my first day in Osaka ( 2. Only on the 4th day of staying, upon my request ,my room was cleaned and overloaded trash bins were emptied.3.You can't ventilate your room by simply opening the window, because your room will be filled with smells from the kitchen. 4. The heater system is centralized ,so you can't adjust the room temperature by yourself, and going to sweat whole night.

A warm hotel in the heart of the American Village, loved the vibrant and buzzing neighborhood. Great location and easy metro access. Highly recommend!

staff is rude, air conditioning is not a proper AC, just blwoing heat air and it was 26 degree Celsius, the staff told us to open the window. Only 2 bottles of water for any number of nights. The bed and pillow is dusty, got allergic due to it. Fridge is not even cold. Check out time is 10am when others are 11am, and late checkout charge is a must.

The bathroom smells of drain mould. Made the room smell . Usually very clean but this room’s pipes in the bathroom are smelly…

Location is strategic, 6 mins to station, 8 mins to dotonbori and shopping. Room quite spacious compared from my previous stay in other Apa Hotel.

Only 1 issue I had with this room which is the TV position.

Pillow and bed was hard

Rooms were great but no way to control heat so rooms got very warm. Had to ask for a fan. This is during December

- Comfortable beds.- Plenty of hangers in the wardrobe.- Lots of charging outlets.- Polite and professional reception staff.

- Breakfast buffet was disappointing: food ran out and wasn’t replenished, and advertised items like okonomiyaki were missing.- Room was dusty and not thoroughly cleaned.- Drinking water wasn’t replenished daily.- Centralized air-conditioning could not be adjusted from heat to cool mode. Despite it being winter, the room became uncomfortably hot, which the hotel should address.

The location was good, close to bars and restaurants and shopping, short walk to dottonborri, good ramen spot next door, great breakfast spot opposite, lawsons opposite, taxi rank nearby. Staff were great, very helpful . Would stay there again

Good location and has all the basic amenities.

Property and rooms are a bit dated. The age shows on some of the amenities.

I like the location

The hotel is quiet old and the room has poor exhaust condition specially in bathroom, the room is dusty.

The price for a location like this is great.

The rooms are tiny, I had to play tetris with my suitcase just to be able to open my suitcase and pack my things well. Also, there was hair in the bathroom when I arrived. Housekeeping cleaned my room twice during my stay, but the hair was still there even when I checked out. The staff interaction level is minimal - after the initial check-in, no one talked to me, not even a small greeting. So unlike other places in Japan I have stayed in, there is no one taking your luggage to your room, showing you your room, etc. But this is not a criticism - more like an observation

The location is close to American Village and Shinsaibashi area. It is safe to walk around at night. Like other hotels in Japan, the rooms are small, so don't expect to have a lot of wiggle room to walk around or lay suitcases flat easily. It was perfectly fine for one traveler though.

My room was windowless and next to the JR track. It was a bit loud, but manageable.
