    Pros +

    • The beds were comfortable, the rooms nice and quiet. The cafe next door had such a huge range of delicious pastries and gave us a discount as hotel guests. It was a short walk to the Osaka Aquarium which is amazing. And a short train trip to Universal Studios. A good choice of restaurants was close by.
    • Rooms were clean and comfortable for what I needed it for, Very minimum but still had all the necessities. Quiet and easy to get around to the attractions in the area.
    • Great budget choice for anyone who wants to stay close to the Osaka Expo. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Short walk to train station, local shops/restaurants, large aquarium, boat cruise…

    Cons -

    • It would have been nice if there was a breakfast service.
    • I did find a sock that wasn't mine under the bed and it took a second to get used to the faucet for the sink being the same as the bathtub but overall experience was good.
    • No complaints considering the price I paid.

The location was very convenient - only a five minute walk from the train station. Upon check-in, the hotel staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, and the bakery connected to the hotel was amazing.

The staff was friendly upon check in and had our bags ready since we forwarded our luggage there. The location was quiet and near a train station. This hotel is a great option if you are in Osaka for the aquarium or universal. Best way to universal is a ferry leaving by the aquarium.

    The beds were very stiff

Facilities were great and included the option to have a Japanese style breakfast. The location to the station was about 800m and a short time to get to Osaka city.Access to cafes was good with a variety of choices.

    Not much

    9JoshPosted on: 4-12-2025

Location is close to subway, easy enough to find, shops close by.

Nothing significant. Couldn’t leave luggage wit hotel for an hour or so after checkout. Not a problem really.

Room was cleaned spotlessly every day. There is a delicious bakery next door where you can get a 10% discount by showing your room key. Good value for money given the location.

Even for a business hotel the rooms were very small. It was fine, but not somewhere I would necessarily seek out.

    7KylePosted on: 3-22-2025

Rooms were good. Location was great for where we needed to go. Staff were pleasant.

Breakfast is Japanese style but it also wasn't much choice for quite a high cost per person. No bread at all for breakfast is a difficult thing to understand when there is a bakery next door.

Staff was extremely helpful, despite the languages barrier. Room had enough space and a nice view of the outside. There was a 7-11 nearby for a quick snack or drink. One of the staff was extremely helpful with my beginner Japanese, I do not remember her name, but she was short but very kind and helped me check in and send our luggage to our next hotel. I express my utmost gratitude to her.

Very fancy. The views were good too. The staff did their best to help with some challenging situations. The bar at the top floor was very nice, and the bar tender was fantastic.

I know you can't move a building, but it's too far from the nearest station, and the shuttle bus was clearly designed to make it tough if not impossible for westerners to use it. The website was broken on mobile, confusing even for tech-literate people, and required entering some information in Hiragana. The bus option gets a 0 out of 10.

The location to the aquarium, restaurants, and universal Japan made this hotel a great choice.

The beds were too firm for me but two nights didn’t really cause any issues for me.

We booked a few nights to be closer to USJ and absolutely enjoyed our stay. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was so friendly and we really liked the newly opened restaurant serving lunch. It was only a stroll away from the restaurants and shops around the aquarium. Osakako station is just around the corner.

    Everything was great :-)

is an inexpensive but clean and quite comfortable hotel that is located near the Osaka Exhibition Centre. It is quite spacious. Separate beds. Shower and bathtub. There is a supermarket nearby. There is probably no breakfast in this hotel, at least we didn't see itIf you want to save money you can choose this hotel.

the hotel staff do not speak English well

I liked how clean the hotel was, how helpful the staff were, there was a convenience store around the corner and the location was accessible to the subway.

It was expected that rooms would be narrow in space since this is Japan, but still wished there would be a little more space in the room.

    clean hotel

rooms and bathrooms too small whatbis shown in pic and what u see actually is totally different

It's a well located hotel on Osaka, near the Aquarium and really close to a station so you can travel easily. The tradicional morning breakfast was delicious and the staff there was friendly. There was amenities in the entrance so you need to grab before going to your room.

The space for shower, it was very small even for japanese standarts. I almost fell while using it.

    Clean room. Nothing missing.

Location isn't the best.AC unit is barely alive.I stayed at similar hotels for half that price....

    Property was clean.

Absolutely no storage in the room. No closet, no dresser. Could not unpack luggage. Bathroom Sink was in the bedroom, not in a bathroom. The property is several blocks from the subway station. There is almost nothing around the property except a 7-Eleven. The breakfast was about $15. It was by far the worst breakfast that we’ve ever had while visiting Japan. The food was not the right temperature, the selection was terrible, and they did not serve hot coffee or hot tea at breakfast. The room where breakfast was served felt like a high school cafeteria. The breakfast was so bad, that there was no fresh fruit. They had canned fruit in a small bowl. When we return to Osaka, we will not choose the Bande Hotel.

Clean and the bed is comfortable

Staff attitude. They would smile and greet Japanese or Caucasian when they are in and out of hotel but they will skip me, keep their head low pretending never see me… weird right.
