Toyoko Inn Osaka Umeda Nakatsu No.1

Rooms were bigger than I expected, I just had a single room but there was lots of space for me and my luggage. Bathroom also had a good amount of space as well. They gave me clean towels everyday and cleaned the rooms once every 3 days. Location was good, like a 2 minute walk from the nearest train station and like 10 minute walk to the big malls and restaurants. Lobby provided free ice and water and had lots of seating and tables.

I don't really have any complaints about this place to be honest.

Excellent location few minutes walks from metro. Good breakfast, different choices every day. Many restaurants nearby. The room was cleaned and good temperature control.

Small sized room typical of Japanese hotel

A beautiful start to each morning with a delicious breakfast. This hotel is a great hub for moving around in Osaka! The staff was very nice and greeted us upon every arrival. I can't wait to return.

Almost perfect location, near the subway and just 10 minutes away from subway to Shin-Osaka, so bringing luggages from shinkansen train to the hotel wasn't a problem.The hotel staff was really helpfull specially with luggage transfer and any doubt we had.

The room was a bit small but comfortable

Loved the breakfast included in the morning. Place was clean, we were able to store our luggage and location was super close to the subway station

It was centrally located and had easy access to the subway system. I also really appreciated that there was storage underneath the bed for luggage.

I felt that the bed was very uncomfortable. I could feel every metal spring. I recommend that the property put up signs to stay quiet in the hallways. I was disturbed one morning by some guests waiting for the elevator, having LOUD conversation at 8 am.

Staff on reception were friendly and helpful Room rate was competitive for the area.

The bed was rock hard. Our room window looked at the fire escape and the next building. There was no natural light at all. Not good as we stayed 7 nights. Breakfast ran out of items and things weren't replenished (unlike the previous 3 Toyoko Inns we stayed in).

No possibility to check-in earlier than 4p.m. which is quite late for me and world standards

Location was pretty good. Walking distance to train stations and lots of restaurants. Family Mart is just 100m from hotel. Lots of food and snacks. The egg sandwich is delicious. Ate it everyday for a week!

The breakfast could have had more varieties. I stayed for 7 nights and had same breakfast every morning

The check in was swift and no queue as its all automated. The room is large and has all the facilities required. Btreakfast is served in the lobby and check out is as swift.

Its close to a subway but not annoyingly loud.

Room is a little small but ok for single and couple. Lift can be busy and waited a bit long.

Very good breakfast. only 5 to 8 minutes walk to Osaka strain station and the subway. Family mark just next door so very convenient to buy anything. Thank you very much

Great location. Walking distance to Nakatsu and Umeda stations. Also to the Umeda sky building. Breakfast is awesome with plenty of Japanese options. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

Room is bit smaller but that’s expected when you are in Japan.

Food for the breakfast are almost the same for our 6 days stay.

Food should be A bit of variety every other day. The staff are very friendly though and always replenish the food.

The room is clean

If you are looking for a place where you can relax and rest, it's not a good place.They must clean the room every day even if you ask them to not do it. For them cleaning the room means that you must leave your room from 11 to 16. Impossible to relax and sleep there.I traveled Japan for 20 days, 6 cities, it was the only hotel with this issue. The breakfast stops at 9. If you ask coffee after 9 is impossible to have it. Flexibility and support 0.

Location is very good

Internet was bad, and we had some weird noises coming from bathroom especially during the night

Clean though basic room, well situated for the bus and train stations

We arrived for breakfast 10 mins late (our fault as we had misread the finish time), and staff said it was too late and would not even give us a cup of coffee. The second day we had to leave early for our flight and we were told we were too early, so we missed it again. They were not prepared to give us something to take away with us.
