Toyoko Inn Osaka Yodoyabashi-eki Minami

The staff were very nice and the rooms were very clean. I was grateful to receive a clean set of towels and a new toothbrush every day when I returned to my room. Also, my toilet was broken in my room, and I was immediately moved to a new room. The service is great.

I had a hard time sleeping because the mattress was very hard and the air in the rooms was dry, but I understand that the room dryness is due to the season. Also, the Midosuji subway line itself is a little inconvenient for where I wanted to go, but the hotel was located near the station, so as long as I could get to the Midosuji line, I was able to return quickly to the hotel on foot.

I was happy they could hold on to our luggage for the whole day of checkout. Many locals had chosen this hotel, which is a sign of quality.

Breakfast doesn' t have many sweet options.

The staff and rooms are great. The breakfast is really tasty and service is great too. This place has laundry and drying machines too for 300 yen. Overall, looking forward to another Japan trip and I will book with Toyoko Inn again!

Good location, not far from subway and main sights

Bed was to hard for my preference and the breakfast chaotic with not that many options. Being Osaka I expected amazing food and it didn't even came close to average.

It was a standard hotel you will get in Japan. We had all the amenities and facilities that we needed. The best thing that my parent and I agree on is the free breakfast that was actually really delicious and widespread! Would certainly stay again.

The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the Yodoyabashi (M17) metro station, so travelling is very easy from there. The hotel as such was very nice and modern, and the staff were super-helpful during my stay (they spoke English well, and weren't afraid of using a translator if needed, which I appreciated a lot!). As for the room, it was quite small ("compact" might be a better word:), but it had everything (except maybe European power outlets, which was not unexpected.. they did have USB-C connectors though, so powering up a phone wasn't an issue)... I was certainly satisfied.

Excellent days in Osaka. The hotel is very close to the metro station, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was great, and the staff were very kind.

Clean and good breakfast and location

Rooms were small but nice with everything I needed. The included breakfast was very nice. Hotel is near st least two major subway lines so very easy to get around.

Everything was so clean, orderly and the location was great. Free Breakfast was very tasty. The room wasn't that small either. Honestly it's perfect value. Staff is very cheerful too.

The best location in Osaka with really a lot of restaurants around nearby convenient store 7, 2 Metro stations and really comfortable to visit EXPO 2025

High CP value.Room is bigger than expected, able to open 2 luggage.Breakfast is pretty good, with basic choices of Japanese and western styles of food.Location is also good. 3-5 mins walk to the nearest station.

Ventilation in restroom is not enough. Lots of foggy droplets after shower.

Convenient downtown location— great for a solo traveler who wants a private room to rest in at night. Lockers in the lobby make it easy to store small/medium sized luggage for free before or after check out.

Simple, uncomplicated, high-tech, pristine clean and comfy, washer and dryer conveniently downstairs. Minimal, yet everything you need. Super high quality cotton bedsheets, pillows and blanket (these are among the most important for me). I've had one of the best sleeps in a while.

Breakfast was rather mediocre, there was nothing my daughter liked, but then again, we are foreigners and are used to classic continental breakfasts, with eggs, cheese and ham, corn cereal and yoghurt - almost none of these products are native to Japan.

Easy check in and out process. Luggage transfer services available. All staff were lovely and welcoming. Free breakfast provided with a nice variety of food and drinks. Room was nice and clean.

I would say that it is quite standard hotel with basic facilities. The room is a bit small but fortunately you can still place your luggage under the bed. The breakfast is standard again, nothing special. But it is very crowded in the morning so if you are in a hurry, you might not have a chance to have a breakfast. However, they also provide bento for such cases. The personnel doesn’t speak English well so sometimes they had to use translation. But it is located very well, so you can easily get to any part of Osaka or outside of Osaka. For such price it is very good option for short stay.

Good location.

Breakfast 4 soups and 3 different rice, missed casual western buffet stuff. But it's normal. Beds tough, pillows too. When asked for an extra blanket got a small bed blankie instead of sheets.
