Hotel It Osaka Shinmachi

Location, Cleanliness, Staff and restaurant were excellent. The staff were so helpful for directions, things we needed for our room like power adapters and umbrellas when it rained were all provided free of charge.

The room was too bright, outdated restroom

I wish there was complimentary water bottle refill station and coffee bar in the hotel! They do provide bottled water in the room free of charge and coffee you can make in the room but all other hotels we stayed at provided water bottle refill station and coffee bar so was expecting this

I stayed only one night, but I really liked the hotel. The single room was spacious and well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and it’s located right next to a lovely supermarket in a more residential part of Osaka, so it didn’t have much of a touristy feel. I would definitely come back if I need a place to stay while traveling to other cities or even as a base for exploring Osaka. There aren’t many restaurants nearby, but the neighborhood feels very residential and is perfect for experiencing the local lifestyle.

The room was extremely dusty. The counters were not wiped in the room.When I asked one staff member in the hotel lobby at the bar to fill my bottle with tap water, he refused.

The blinds in the room didn’t block out the light at all… so we both forced to wake up at 5 am.And the AC was just above the bed, the wind blew just towards my head, very uncomfortable. (Didn’t expect there will be wall AC these days in hotel）The shower curtain already went mouldy.

This place was so cozy, elegant, and felt really new. The room size is on par with Japanese standards, but it felt like there was more space thanks to the shelves on the wall. The room was overall very cozy and we really enjoyed spending time in the room. The neighbourhood is cozy and I really liked the supermarket that is right next to the hotel.

The trash can in the room was small and I felt bad leaving my trash next to it after doing all the shopping. Also, the hotel bar closed pretty early, so there was no opportunity to go down for a drink after coming back from exploring the city.

Great view and comfortable room, breakfast had plenty of choices, reception available, location great for venturing out into the city.

Fantastic restaurant and bar with lovely staff, and a very cohesive aesthetic. The room was larger than we’d previously experienced in Tokyo, which was very welcome, and the hot drinks/water/towels replenished every day, and a good quality. Very near train stations, which was good

The blind didn’t close properly, forcing you to wake up early. The air conditioning was weak, and took a long time to work. There wasn’t much to see in the immediate area, or places to get drinks, which was a shame.

The cleanliness was outstanding. The public areas were very nice, and tastefully furnished. The staff were helpful, but there was some language barriers. It was handy to a supermarket.

The firm mattresses, but that appears to be a Japanese thing.

The spacious lobby with bar area and shared working possibility was inviting, and the room was comfortable size.

As someone who appreciates original design, I did not appreciate that they had some imitation products of well known iconic lightings in both the rooms as well as the public areas.

We had a really nice stay at hotel It! This was definitely one of the most comfortable beds we've had in Japan. The room was super clean, it had everything you could need. We were there during the winter and the room was nice and warm. The hotel also has a work space in the reception which is very helpful if you need to do some remote work. Overall, this was a really great find in Osaka, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

The hotel room size was generous, really good. Loved the reception area, very clean in general and the location was great.

The blinds in the room let the light in in the morning, luckily I wear an eye mask but it was quite bright once the sun rose.

Close to train station. And very clean.

I defenetly don t like the lift. Everytime you have to exit on level floor and there s a lot of people, you have to wait so long. No good curtains iñon the room so at 6 am you wake up.Single rooms are very small.

The hotel is very stylish and a good deal. The lobby had a nice area to work and a DJ spinning in the evenings. If you're into pizza, the hotel offers a discount at their restaurant. A supermarket is right next door where you can get snacks for a great price. We had easy access to the laundry and didn't wait to use the machines.

Our room was small for Japan, and we felt a draft from the window. The hotel wasn't close to major attractions, but a quick 15-minute train ride got you where you needed to go.

I'm a solo female traveller and the smallest room was perfect for me. It's clean, cosy and comfortable. I love the neighborhood because it's quiet but also safe and very convenient. There's a big supermarket Oasis right downstairs and several convenience stores within a short walk. There are small cafes and eateries nearby as well if you don't want to venture too far out. Overall a wonderful stay and I would absolutely stay here again.
