Sotetsu Fresa Inn is always my number 1 choice to stay in Japan. The staff are always super helpful. The location might not be the best, but it doesn't matter for me - Japan is always incredible in every way! ? It's just 3 minutes walking to the station, the neighborhood is quiet, and there's a convenience store just 1 minute away. Plus, my favorite coffee shop in Osaka by the riverside is only 5 minutes walking distance - perfect!

Restaurants are a bit limited around the area

Great room, close to the subway. Beds are very comfy, staff are nice! Definitely recommend. Also the breakfast was awesome. Lot of variety and very tasty!

Great location

tiny room with just enough space if you don’t have much stuff. It was way too small for us.

This was our second stay here, and we just love this hotel. You can't beat the location with easy access to Yodoyabashi and Kitahama Stations. It's close to all the action at Umeda, Shinsaibashi, and Dotonbori while being in a quieter area itself. The staff is great, the room is comfy - we will always stay here when in Osaka!

The vacuuming of the rooms isn’t great, I found hair and eyelash extensions on the carpet and bathroom floor when I checked in.

The room was OK. It did it's job, which was to give us a place to stay overnight. It did nothing more and nothing less.

The bed was not the most comfortable bed I have slept in. The hotel was a little too far from the metro station (my bad, I picked it.) Charging a fee for checking in 45 minutes early is outrageous. Just say no, and I would've understood. Making it available for a fee conveys the message "yes, we could, but we won't and we use it as an opportunity to nickel-and-dime you" on a hotel room that was already struggling to deliver value at its price point.

Not much to like sadly. We have stayed at other Sotetsu hotels but this was worst by a long long way.

Room was dirty. Significant dust piles on bed head. Previous guests ear plugs found on bed head. No storage room for suitcase. Other hotel in same company have room under bed to store suitcases. Tv cannot be watched from bed - it is screwed to desk and cannot be tilted. No chair to sit at desk - small seat cannot even be pulled out between desk and bed. No access to lights at door. All controls on bed head so forced to bump into things when entering room in dark. We have stayed in multiple Japan hotels and this is by far the worst. We booked exact same room with same company in another location and had nothing but praise but this was garbage

It's about a 20min walk away from the main area of Dotonburi, about 5 minutes from the station, plenty of local shops and restauraunts, the property itself is spotless, the rooms are lovely and up to date, it has an attached restauraunt which was very nice for breakfast. Staff were super polite and couldn't do enough for you, I had to dispose of a broken suitcase which isn't easy in Japan but the staff organised this for me with no issues.

Not much, the attached restauraunt closes extremly early (we tried getting in at 5pm one day to be told they were closed) but honestly that's about it.

Hotel is walking distance to Kitahama station, toiletries and pajamas are provided by the hotel, all staff are very helpful, our room is spacious, hotel is very clean.

I basically chose the hotel for the end of our 18 days in Japan with our family of seven based on affordability and location. These are very reasonably priced hotels, the rooms are very small but clean, beds are very comfortable fulfilling our needs.

The rooms are particularly small, but it is manageable. This is the only reason for not giving top marks. Apart from that, it was a great on every respect. Staff were wonderful!

Very close to everything - train station, convenience store and restaurants.

Great location, near Yodoyabashi station. Nice staff, free amenities including pyjamas, clean room. Missing free snacks/water/coffee (in lobby) was the only thing keeping this from a 10, otherwise very good place to stay at.

The staff were very accommodating. The room is very clean. And the location is good.

Friendly staff. Excellent location, with easy access to two subway stations - Kitahama Station and Yodoyabashi Station.

Small Room.

The hotel being midway between 2 metro station gives access to both lines. When the initial room shared a wall with the laundry I was immediately offered another room no problem. Staff was friendly, amenities were OK.

The hotel being midway between 2 metro stations is far from both. There's nothing around it either. The restaurant/breakfast is horrible. Every dish is gone cold, not refilled in time, dishes are more appropriate for lunch than breakfast. Probably yesterday's leftovers are served. Space inside is too tight, especially for a hotel this size. Pinokkio restaurant deserves it's horrible google rating. If free breakfast is a deciding factor in choosing this hotel stay away. You're better off buying a konbini onigiri or egg sando. They also refused to forward my luggages and asked me to go to the konbini, which were full, so they sent me to the Yamato office which only opened at 9, so I had to check a different konbini. Hours wasted in the morning because they refuse to do luggage forwarding.

Relay lucky for me to booked this hotel with cheap price. The transportation is connivence, and space is enough for one person.
