APA Hotel Shin-Osaka-Ekiminami

Very beautiful, very clean, nice staff, good bed and pillow.

Rooms are a bit too cramped. Step to enter in bathroom may be a problem for some people. Single elevator can take a while.

The staff were very nice.The location is close to the station.Breakfast is good.

Not sure i am the biggest fan of all the mirrors. microwave and ice only on first floor/lobby so a bit awkward to be in front of new guests.

Nice, clean space which is close to the Shin-Osaka Station, making it convenient for travelers wanting to explore places.

Nothing within the hotel's control. The hotel is really good. There are no food places which open till late.

Overall, the hotel is small but built to a luxury standard. The bedroom is small but to a luxury standard too and therefore good. The staff were attentive, polite and tried their very best at all times.There was a stain on the duvet in my room.The Ole breakfast area is too small with too few seats. The wear and tear on the walls because of the lack of space gives a very poor impression, which is in contrast to the rest of the hotel. The solution is to remodel and expand the Ole breakfast area, extending its perimeter to where the current outside courtyard is now. Doing this would result in more space for the food, more tables and allow the decor of this room to match the excellence of rest of the hotel.

Rooms are bit congested to move around. But we found that is same in most places in Japan

A/C was centrally controlled, no individual remote controls. Room was a bit too cold.

I have stayed at APA hotels many times; this one in particular. I like the convenient location, away from the busy city centre, but close to trains, while the compact but comfortable rooms are always clean and well-appointed. The staff are efficient, friendly and helpful.

Location was convenient for us

Zero noise isolation. We could hear every word said in the room next door. Unfortunately there were some loud people in the room next door and we barely got any rest. You can hear everyone walking on your hotel floor as there is a gap under the door and you can even see people’s shadows walking by. Wouldn’t return or recommend.

The room is designed very efficiently, the staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean, and the location is convenient both to the subway and to Shin-Osaka.

No problems at all, everything was fine.

Typical room at APA chain, small but comfort, close to subway station Shin Osaka exit 7, so easy to get there just in few minutes. Quite many 7/11 around the hotel, no problem to get some groceries late at night.

Some small technical problems in my room, the flush toilet is stuck, the water keeps running and the cover of the aircon at the entrance, not a big deal but better to be fixed!

The location is very convenient. We wanted somewhere close to the Shinkansen because we did several day trips to other cities. Also, the water pressure in the shower is excellent.

The double bed is set up so that if you have two people in the room, one person has to climb over the other to get out of bed. Not a big deal to us but maybe to some people.

5 min walk to shin osaka station which is the quieter side of town. Do note check in is 3pm check out is 10am. You can pay 10K per hr for additional hrs depending on availability

Not many food options around except for convenience stores

The room was clean, the bed and the TV very big. The location is very close to Shin-Osaka station and squeezed in between three different convenience stores.

The pillows were hard (but that’s a personal preference) and the air conditioning was not working properly (it kept going on and off) and thus the room was just too stuffy.

The staff were very friendly and helped me get my luggage sent to my next hotel.The hotel room small but perfect for just me. The air con and the comfort of the bed were amazing after a day of walking.The location is super close to the station, so getting into the heart of Osaka, or other locations, is easy

As I didn't know Osake before booking, I'd have liked to be a bit more central, but this is a very minor complaint.

Close to Shin-Osaka station so it was easy to get around the city. The area is not very touristy, but if you're looking for an authentic experience as we were, it is amazing. Plenty of local restaurants to try surrounding the hotel, and a stone's throw away from a couple convenience stores. As with all APA Hotels the room had absolutely everything you need and was restocked daily. Staff were helpful and attentive and made our stay very simple.

No storage under the bed as we had at a Tokyo APA hotel, so we felt the small size of the room much more acutely. No onsen or public bath, unlike the Tokyo APA.
