Fairfield by Marriott Osaka Namba

Very nice room and very nice hotel.location requires 10min walk from the center

They sell nice beer at the lobby - but there is no place you can sit to drink it there....

Not too busy area. 10-15 mins walk to the shopping area. Rooms are cozy, clean and always have room amenities.

The staff was rude, even they did not wave while we were entering in the evening or explaining the rules.

The price vs what you get is nonsence. I wish i had stayed one more night in kyoto instead of coming to osaka anad paying this much to a hotel that does not worth it.

Location is very good ?.

- No room service to order food. - Poor description of food at breakfast for Non- Japanese.

Enjoyed the location, slightly further from all the noise, but still close enough to the station where we could take one line and not have to transfer all that much. Hotel room was big for both luggages to be opened at the same time, along with space to hang clothes and the shower was great. There were LUUP bikes right at the entrance, making it easy to travel elsewhere quicker.

Though the space was huge, it only had about 3 washing machine/dryers on one floor. Definitely would recommend the hotel to have more laundry facilities. This was def not enough considering how many people stay at this hotel.

The rooms are very spacious even for American standards. Our room was very clean, with a very comfortable bed and good variety of toiletries. The neighborhood itself is very quiet but proximate to the busier streets.

The staff were helpful and professional. The room was clean and it was convenient having a launderette in hotel to wash/dry our clothes. Location was good too.

Room was very small but most hotel rooms are in Japan are. Breakfast was average.

- The staff attitude was poor.- only two washing machines (one of them was broken during most of my stay), it was like a war zone.- there is no cafe/lounge to have drink other than the reception with a coffee machine and limited selection of food.- Breakfast was ok

Superb in all aspects .. location, food, rooms and staff.

The room was really comfortable and cosy, very clean, with nice view over the city and all necessary amenities. Location was very good, short (around 10 minutes) walk to Namba Station, close to cafes and convenience stores. Wifi was working well. Breakfast was good, with both Japanese and Western style selection.

Very nice rooms with modern design, plenty of room/floor space. Location was great for walking to shopping areas around Dotonbori.

I was expecting more from this hotel. It wasn't as clean as I would have wanted; for instance, the remote control looked horrendous, as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. The breakfast gets old too fast. There isn't enough staff for the number of people staying at the facilities, so there’s a long line even for checking in. Additionally, the station is not close, making it very inconvenient. I sometimes had to use Uber because of this.

It was close by train station safe area and outdoor shopping all 5 min walking or less. They also make it easy to ship luggage to the next hotel

Rooms were big compared to others in Japan. Very well located near Namba Station, which takes you pretty much anywhere in Osaka. Helpful staff, clean rooms. Very recommended

Big, clean, beautiful and comfortable rooms!

The facility was new and clean. Staff were helpful. They even able to provide special request such as bed crib and bathtub for our child!

For the price charge for breakfast, I expected more. The buffet line should improve in both flavor and variety.
