Hotel Elcient Osaka Umeda

Great modern hotel in good location, good price point. Spacious room and nice facilities.

It was close to everything needed, and had a very pretty nightlife close by as it is the holiday season. Staff were accommodating, it was a very clean and pretty hotel, and the room was gorgeous, bathroom included!

If you sleep without noise from your phone or TV, the highway next to the hotel miiight give you problems when sleeping as it’s very close. Had to use headphones myself one night. That’s my only complaint!

Overall, our stay was very lovely. The amenities were great, the room was spacious enough (not too big or small), the beds were comfortable, and they even had a public bath (we unfortunately didn't use it). In addition, the breakfast buffet had a great variety of both Western and traditional cuisine. Finally, although the location is not withing walking distance of major touristy areas, there are subways within a 10-15 minute walk.The area nearby also has plenty of food options nearby so be sure to check out the area in case you're looking for some food close by. Overall, a great stay and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Would recommend!

Good location, 10-15 minutes walk to different metro lines, room was spacious, staff was nice and competent and price was quite fair. There are different facilities available like public bath and laundry machines.

Breakfast is good but always the same so can be heavy if staying long and eating breakfast there everyday.

Having an Onsen was nice.

What was pictured online wasn’t what we got when we got there. Also, the room wasn’t fully cleaned because there was dust build up behind the curtains, near the humidifier and behind the beds. The hotel is about half a mile away from the station so if you stay there you’ll be getting your steps in.

I loved the evening lounge (free drinks/snacks) - what a nice surprise! I also loved how quiet the rooms were, didn't hear other guests/lifts at all. I didn't get to use the bathhouse but it looked really lovely and very clean (as usual). The hotel is eco-friendly (as most hotels we stayed at) and I liked that we had the option of changing our towels only/not changing at all and pick-our-own amenities as required, in the lobby.

The room size was small, but a large window (width of the room we stayed in) was great! It was a bit of a walk from Osaka train station, with a couple flights of stairs (not ideal with large suitcases) but we felt very welcomed once we stepped foot into the hotel.

When we stayed, the hotel serve free refreshment11am-3pm free cookies and drinks (from vending machine that includes tea, coffee and matcha green tea) and cookies3pm-5pm free cookies, donuts and drinks (as above)5.30pm-9pm free snacks (like peanuts, chips, etc), beer, sake, wines and even liqour .. NICE!!!!There's also a Japanese public bath for men and also for women (separate of course)I went to the bar for peanuts, beers and sake every night and then go to the public bath.. Daily.. I LOVE This.. and will come back again.

The hotel is quite a walk away from the nearby metro stations.. Luckily there's route where you don't have to take stairs..Room is quite small, but it's kinda expected in Japan for the price.

Well positioned. They have free food and drink for 3 hours each evening and well patronized.

Location a bit far away from Osaka station and can be annoying for pram pathing but a bit or research will suffice

The room was amazing, very clean with everything you need, there were drinks and light refreshments throughout the day, the bathrooms are excellent with lots of shampoos and lockers and clean, I recommend staying more than 4 days in Osaka. The hotel is near all the train and bus stations that get you anywhere quickly.

It was a beautiful location, beautiful bedrooms and very friendly staff. the lounge was spectacular with great perks such as snacks and drinks.

It was super clean. Good location. Close to the train. It was a nice feature the lounge they have in which hey offer drinks and snacks

Although it was well located it wasn’t so close to the train station we had to take a taxi from the station, you can walk but it’s about 12 minutes away

Evrything was ok. Goodblication, clean and very helpful staff members.

We really enjoyed our stay very much . Check in/out was easy and fast. The room was very clean , the beds comfortable, the breakfast very delicious and the onsen a great plus. Everything was clean and it gave us an uncomplicated relaxing stay. We would stay here again next time.

It is a few minutes walk to the train but we had forwarded our luggage anyway and so it was not a big deal.Also our room was next to an elevator and we could hear a light sound from that but it didn't bother us.

We like about the spa and the bar time in the lounge.

it is more good value if the time for using a coffee machine in the lounge are available 24 hours.

Good location, nice commn areas and parking available at the property.

In general rooms are always much smaller than the expectation, not specific to this hotel.

Great hotel with expected amenities like dining area, lobby to sit and relax (or kill time awaiting your flight), bathouse, laundry, housekeeping, etc. Hotel suitable for solo or couple travelers as well as families. Breakfast buffet is decent with varieties. Major metro station (Umeda) nearby and can get anywhere within Osaka in 30 mins or less. Quiet despite hotel next to freeway. I would highly recommend if you want to be in the Umeda area.

Umeda metro station is nearly 1 km away so it can be challenging if you have large suitcases, young children or difficulty walking.

The front staff assist us well.

No service bottled in the room,the view down is a cemetery,the cleaning staff need more training.

Excellent location and wonderful hotel. Comfortable room, spacious enough for an affordable price. Loved the spa, free drinks in the lounge, and the wonderful staff.
