Malaysia Hotel Bangkok

The Malaysia is located to within walking distance to the subway and train systems, Lumpini park, and Bangkok One Mall. Many street vendors surround the adjacent area. A 7-11 is across the street.They have a pool,restaurant,Bar. Affordable.FriendlyStaff

Nothing, rooms are very clean,Large refrigerator, and room service and fresh water daily. If you book directly through them a free breakfast is included.

This hotel was used in the movie Good Morning Vietnam so my nephew thought the it's vibe was cool. Otherwise very average hotel.

They need to tell western guests don't flush toilet paper.

It was spacious with a good bathroom and air-conditioning nice big fridge and 2 bottles of water supplied every day

American breakfast in restaurant was awful.Would have loved a tourist map showing the underground stations

Location Check in at 4 am.

Rooms are now very run down.

Swimming Pool, outside cafe/restaurant, waterfall, massage parlour, taxi service for airport, staff friendly.

Bed a bit hard,no local taxi service, had to go on a bike taxi to get from Lumpini station.

had to upgrade to a nicer room that are only on the 6th floor

I love that the location is near to the train station, food areas, there were bars and massage spa, 7 11 around the area.

I was asked to pay a bigger amount than my booking and was forced to pay in person even if it was paid online via credit card even if I tried to explain about it to the reception she still insisted that it wasnt it will be returned as it was just on hold. I had to go back even I already left the place just to recheck as the cc was charged. The other staff checked and I was told she is also confused why I was asked to pay when it was stated it was paid online. It is either an honest mistake or the lady is trying to milk tourists. Be careful and be wise and aware about this. Now I have to wait for a refund for 1 to 2 weeks.

Stayed in main block. Pleasant hotel, great location good pool. Didnt use restaurant but was busy. Hotel little bit dated but the price was exceptionally good value compared to the IBIS opposite and other hotels nearby.

I like the most is restaurant open 24 hours, swimming pool, comfortable bed .

I didn’t like is no locker to put things safety.

Location is good. Not so far from the metro station. No noise from the streetRooms are really old but clean.The price is worth it considering the other places price

Very nice stuff. Good restaurant, beautiful room with a big window.

The neighbor guests of my room 308 was any nights more times at the very late night time very noisy. The doors are loud during closing the door by night. I have in my private apartment at home in Europe glued foam strips for a more silent closing doors.

A nostalgic hotel with some intresting history the air con was good and has a 24 hr restaurant

The shower in my room 221 was not great and its a bit of a shame there tea/coffee Making facilities but over all good

Nice straff, nice restaurant. Ok swimming pool. No pool for kids. Old standard, not new but enough.

breakfast is affordable and very good. Location is great. room is good size.nice restaurant and good massage at the hotel

Been several years, feels a little neglected this time. Trees has been taken down near the pool and it just lost some of the good feeling we had before

Not much to like on old, smelly hotel

Terrible staff and unsafe elevator. We got stuck in an elevator with my daughter and wife. After 30 minutes the doors opened so we could get out. The manager did not say anything, as he didn't speak any English.

Have stayed here before and it does represent good value for money. Most of the staff are friendly and welcoming too.

It is appearing a bit jaded and in need of some TLC. Corridors leading to rooms are pretty grim! Restaurant staff are very nice but the food isn't top notch, to be honest!

The staff was nice and the location was great. You can easily get there with public transportation. Also a nice park around the corner

It wasn’t as clean as you’d expect a hotel room to be. The interior was quite outdated and the beds weren’t really comfortable.

If you can walk for 15 minutes; the hotel location is near to metro . The rooms is ok but clean. 7-11 stores is few steps from the hotel. Staff is good. Message office is in the same building.

Not much , but rooms need renovation for some furniture.
