Talakkia Boutique Hotel

Great location, a walking distance to metro and train and a vibrant area around. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was ok and the staff was very kind to accommodate our needs.

Sound isolation is poor, therefore if you have noisy neighbours, you will hear everything. We had someone watching loud TV at 6am and we couldn't really sleep that morning (and we needed sleep after a 17h flight)

I like that the cr is separate from the bath room and that the bed is soft. Breakfast is really good too! I like the location because it's near sheraton, iconsiam, river city, and talad noi!

The staff was super friendly, we liked the location near Chinatown. The room was very clean and had all necessities. Great budget accommodation to explore Bangkok!

The WiFi was too slow to work most of the time. At night, we heard a buzzing sound which made it harder to sleep.

Location was good proximity to China Town and river for ferrys. Also not too far from the train station. Roof top bar was cool. Breakfast included was nice, had a coffee there most mornings. Would stay again.

Room was quite small, but it is to be expected, space is a premium in a big city like Bangkok.

Funny smell on the room the first night.

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Talat Noi. It's in a great location, is comfortable, and has a great staff.

The room is in a great location in a quiet area near Talad Noi, there are a lot of cute cafes around. The room is clear and comfortable, so it was a good accomodation in that nice area

the pool is much smaller than what seems through the pictures, so the value for money is a bit lower than expected, but still very good overall

The bed was very comfortable and staff was helpful when issues came up. Decent location overall.

Cleanliness is questionable . The sheets, while washed, had some major stains that were still visible and a few holes. We then found a cockroach, flying around the room sitting above the bed where it couldn't be reached. After these two things we approached the front desk who was helpful and able to change our room. The second room had seemed cleaner overall and the sheets were in better condition.However, in the morning we woke up to a large puddle as the Air conditioning had begun leaking overnight despite being set at the hotel's recommended setting (25°). This happened again the next nights. Further the shower in this room drained very slowly.

Nightmare stay

Avoid at all costs! Our stay was a nightmare. The room was filthy, with noticeable dirt marks on the walls and barely enough space to move. The bathroom was a disaster - no door, extreme dirtiness, and the shower was awkwardly positioned over the toilet. The cleaners seemed absent. The pool was consistently dirty and littered with debris. Overpriced and underdelivering, this place offers extremely poor value. We were extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend it.

Nice little hotel in China Town, perfect to walk around and explore the area. The pool even when small, offers a nice break from the heat.

The size of the room was a bit small for a double bed one. Especially traveling as a family with all the bags.

Shower and toilet use the same doors and silde from one to another. Not a massive deal but not very clear in photos when booking.

I like the area of the property. Talad noi is a cool neighbourhood and the location is excellent.

The staff is so nice & welcoming! :) Breakfast is good, rooms were cleaned daily if needed, the pool is so cute! Tucked into a nice area with lots of local shops and restaurants nearby. Short walk to Chinatown. Easy to get a Grab ride to main tourist locations.

Everything as described!

It’s neat and well-located. The lobby has nice seating, and food from the cafe kitchen nearby. Off the main road so a bit less noisy. The plunge pool is great after a long day out walking.

Our room was very small, and the plumbing was falling apart. It smelled quite strange when we returned at night. The walls are thin and sound travels!

Affordable, comfortable, clean, pleasant for a 1 or 2 night stay. Quiet, friendly with children.

The location is good. Walking 10 mins to China town and also MRT Hua Lomphong station. It is also walking distance to many nice cafes like Hong Siang Kong, Hugs songwat, and our favourite breakfast cafe, the white dragon. Talad Noi is a beautiful old area to walk and many to discovered. Our twin room is decent. A comfortable place to get back to after a long day. The staffs at the reception are always friendly and smiling. We had a great stay.

Compact hotel in a fab location! The small plunge pool is perfect to cool down after a day exploring Talat Noi and Bangkok. Some great food places close by too.

Super cute hotel in a fantastic location, 5 minute walk from the river, great for using the water taxis. 10 minutes from China town. Staff were great and I was able to store my luggage there before checking in and after checking out. The bathroom was very nice.

As others have mentioned the room would be a bit small for couples with a child with them, but was perfect for one or two.
