Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel Bangkok

The views from our room at night over the river wete beautiful.

The shower controls were sticky and difficult to adjust.

The room was immaculate, the mattress, pillows and high end linens provided ultimate sleep comfort, the internet was fast, breakfast was awesome, and the river view magnificent. Providing coffee, lots free water and in-room safe immensely appreciated.

Great location w/convenient boat service to IconSiam. Friendly staff and great food in breakfast restaurant and Club Room. Very reasonable access (within ~20-45 min) to multiple popular tourist spots along the river.

The main breakfast restaurant had great food, but was a bit noisy and was a generally very hectic environment. I was there at more busier times (~9-9:30 AM).

Location was excellent. We needed to be near Iconsiam, & this was ideal. The ferry between the hotel & Iconsiam was very convenient.The cost of the room was very reasonable.The view from the room as also amazing.

The staff, especially at the restaurant the Feast during dinner. They were very caring. The ride on the shuttle boat to and from the hotel, always on time.

Some information was omitted from Booking.com site... I suppose, the hotel Sheraton did not share the info. We were 3 persons on HALF BOARD deal during our stay. In the print out from Booking.com, it was clearly mentioned that " dinner is included in the price". But to our surprise, the manager at the reception refuted this info, saying that dinner is free for only 2 persons and the third person had to pay for his dinner. A very unpleasant situation indeed. It was not a question of money, but the lack of such important information on the website is totally annoying. This should be rectified. Accurate information should be shared by hotel to Booking.com. Secondly, the room is too old fashioned! The furniture are not in good condition.. disappointingThe lifts are very very slow!

Beautiful view of the chao Phraya river. Appreciated the free shuttle to icon Siam. Amazing breakfast!!

Water in bathroom is not stable at the temperature My baby and family got suddenly hot water during the shower. It could be scalding skin

Great location with access to a shuttle boat to take too two different piers, one being the largest shopping mall in Bangkok, lounge and room service was great.

Being a gold star member, being placed on one of the lowest floors of the hotel was not appreciated. Would expect better from the hotel chain.

The lobby lounge was very relaxing. And it was very clean. The breakfast was amazing. The boat was very nice and convenient.

Great location

Terrible room/facilities for the price, inconvenient annual electricity maintenance from 11 am to 6 pm with no AC, poor notification (not informed at booking or prior), lost half a day of stay.

Service is great and excellent breakfast and lunch buffet.

Gym could be bigger with more equipment

I can easily say that breakfast was superb and the highlight of the morning! the variety of foods, the service, the seating options were all great!

Room was small and dated and not 5 Star standard.Pools and pool surrounds needed updating (broken tiles, etc) Desk staff were incompetent and could not resolve simple issue of providing 3 towels for a triple room....had to go to desk four days in a row to report the same issue.

The spa was excellent and the restaurants were very good. The boat shuttle was convenient. The staff was helpful in planning a few of our activities

Location, nice room, nuce view

room was quite old, and air conditioner smelly.

Room had a fabulous view and was large and comfortable. Location is great for exploring Talad Noi artsy area in Bangkok. We enjoyed being able to easily hop on the river taxi and travel up to the temples. Also could easily take a boat to the large mall across the river

Too many steps and stairs. Not accessible-friendly if you have any knee or hip problems. Even to go to breakfast you had to go up and down steps multiple times because the buffet areas are over 2 separate areas and to gain entrance to the restaurant itself required a set of stairs.Bar area also required steps -- and the persons working in that area for the duration of the stay could use training on hospitality services. Notably different from the other 5 hotels we stayed in during our 6 week trip to thailand. I wouldn't normally criticize staff but because it was such a difference to the exceptional service we encountered in every other place in thailand want to bring it to your attention.
