The room was spacious and clean, and the location was easy to find. There were lots of food options nearby, plus convenience stores and a bus stop just around the corner. The staff were very helpful—they provided us with adaptors and a weighing scale upon request. Even when we accidentally broke the scale, they didn’t charge us anything. Really appreciated their kindness!

The hotel entrance is shared with a restaurant, so every time you enter or leave, diners can see you—especially awkward with a live performer right next to the door. Also, the room only had dim lighting, which can be difficult for guests with poor eyesight at night. The Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable.

Great location, close to the main temples and shrines, several 7/11 and a Mcdonald's nearby.Great staff who kindly helped me extend my stay several times due to flight cancellations.Great room with good ameneties.

I extended my stay several times, when the older female employee was at the front desk she didn't actually update my key card so I had to go back down to the lobby for them to fix it.I did not have this problem with the young male employee who correctly updated my card.The wifi was spotty at times as well.

Spacious, clean room, and reasonable price. The location is good, less then 5-km to well-known places. We can walk to Khao San street and Golden Mount, or travel using boat to other places. There are local restaurants nearby. Also, there is the massage service next to the hotel.

Less options for breakfast. And, personally so don’t really like the the way the restaurant is placed nearby the reception and the way to elevator.

24/7 Front Desk Staff. Elevator. Located in walking distance of Khaosan Road.

The walls are thin. I could hear snoring through the night and full conversations of neighbors. Disgusting smell of cigarette smoke in bathroom first thing in the morning. Kept the door closed but smell came into the bedroom as well. The ceilings are significantly lower than the online photos show, the lighting was dim, and the space felt dark even with all the lights on. Weak WiFi. Had a business call and kept being warned the bandwidth was too low. Connection kept dropping and attempting reconnects while sending emails. A damage deposit was required at check in. My room had noticeable damages upon entry. I'd advise inspecting the room and taking photos of any damage as proof that you did not cause it. Did not stay the full 3 day stay. Too uncomfortable. Checked in at 2am after a 12hrs flight and left at 10am. Not good.

We especially liked the wonderful and extremely kind staff at reception who was always there to greet, guide and provide help. The room was large, impeccably clean, quiet, and had a lovely night view! It also had all the facilities you could need or wish to have. I highly recommend Methavalai Residence Hotel!

We booked one night to be centrally located and easily access the most famous sights. The room is very spacious and clean, as is the bathroom. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly, and we were able to book a taxi directly from the accommodation to Suvarnabhumi Airport at 4 a.m. for a fair price and pay for it at the hotel. We didn’t have breakfast, so we can’t comment on that.

Although the accommodation is in a quiet area, I recommend sleeping with earplugs. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is quite loud. Since I usually sleep with earplugs, it didn’t bother me, but light sleepers should keep this in mind before booking.

Great location and spacious room with nice view. The hotel staff were kind and welcoming and always helpful.

One or two more breakfast options would be nice.

Great location , excellent spa next to the hotel , mc Donald’s is also nearby , Great staff . 9/10 would recommend !

There’s trash near the parking lot

It was 30 minutes from the Grand Palace, and most of the historical landmarks. Overall, the room and the bathroom were a good size. Had enough space for the luggage.

The pillows were extremely hard and gave a neck pain. Also, the WiFi wasn't stable at all, and the water changed from cold to warm in a split seconds, and it was impossible to have normal water temperature.

Breakfast wasn't as good as we expected.

Clean rooms, courteous staff, and a great location—just a short walk to the palace. Daily housekeeping was a plus! There’s also a massage place next door—perfect for unwinding before heading back. Worth the stay!"

The stay was great, but the wall-attached AC remote was a bit inconvenient for my parents when I was out. I know it depends on the hotel’s structure, but easier access would have been helpful

It was a very modern hotel. The room was very nice, clean and well equipped. Really good location too and for anyone interested to go to Khaosan road it just a few minutes walk!

We had to leave a 1000 Baht deposit for the room which is the highest we had to pay in all of Thailand. We wouldn't usually mind this but as it was our last stop we ended up having a lot of money left when we checked out and went to the airport.

Friendly staff. We arrive to Bangkok really early in the morning and we really appreciate that we were able to check-in several hours before official check-in time. Thank you for this possibility. Location was ok. Metro line stop could be nearer but of course that is not a fault of the hotel. In other hand, some of the most visited Bangkok places was in walking distance.

The power of the water stream in the shower was very weak. This could be improved.

Clean. Spacious room.Location is great for 1 or max 2 nights to visit all temples since the early not so far from the hotel.Very noisy AC inside and condenser unit outside, impossible to have a quiet night.

Clean and neat. Restaurant of the hotel is very nice.

Location looks good if you look at the map but after 8 o'clock the streets nearby are full of homeless which make walking unpleasant especially if you are a family or lone traveler.Breakfast is "a la carte" but quality was fine.
