Norn Yaowarat Hotel

Location is in the heart of Chinatown. The room had more character than a standard hotel room and also had high ceilings and good natural light.

Although the bathroom was clean there was a smell coming from the drainage. Overall a very nice hostel but the private room was priced too high in my opinion.

Location was great for us. Easy to walk around and get to many attractions. Facilities were clean. Check in and out was east for us.

We were not bothered by the street noise but it may seem loud to others. One thing to note is we found one poor guy trying to check in at 11 pm and no one was at reception even though the posted hours said reception would still be open. 11 is pretty late. So if you need late check in make sure you notify hostel at booking. Beds were really firm. My bus loved them, it was a bit firm for me.

The hostel is great! I only stayed for one night, but it was very comfortable. I stayed in a dorm; it was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and in general everything was very clean. The hostel is right in the middle of Chinatown

Everything was great!

The location right in Chinatown is excellent for a foodie or someone who doesn’t want to take taxi’s or tuk tuks. The rooms are comfortable, but the bathrooms are a little tight. It is very quiet at night. The staff is amazing. I had a ceiling leak in my room at night, after the front desk closed. I messaged through the booking app and someone came within 15 minutes to offer a different room.

There is not a lift, only stairs. The rooms are only on the 3rd and 4th floors. The breakfast is a little meek, toast with margarine and jam and instant drinks or water. But right outside are a bunch of cafes and restaurants.

Great location. It’s in Chinatown in the middle of the busy streets.

Laundry dryer did not work or was not available. No enough space to air dry the laundry either.

Location was excellent. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly.

Room was smaller than I thought

staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! especially with baggage storage and complimentary basic breakfast.

bathroom sewage smells a little.

I love everything. They even gave us free breakfast. I love it. It has a hose pipe in the toilet!! The location is very convenient. It has a pharmacy just downstairs and is near 7e. It is also near the Chinatown night market!! It's easy to find food around.

We were assigned to the fourth floor and there was no lift. But we don't mind it as the staff help us to carry our luggage

Cool location, great service, friendly staff, great concept. Value for money.

Laundry baskets were broken, would be a quick fix.

1. Great location, just a few short minutes away from, MRT (Wat Mangkon), Sampaeng Market2. Friendly staff, helpful in their recommendation on where to go3. Helpful security guard - locked myself out in the middle of the night and i'm super grateful that the guard ran up and down to find help, so that I can reaccess to my room4. Safe - Had the entire mixed dorm suite to myself as there were no other guests. Was initially afraid but after awhile, i began to adjust in and was comfortable

1. No lift, gotta use the stairs.. 2. Stayed in the mixed dorm - toilet is not ensuite 3. Bed curtains a little too thin - able to see the lights sip through the curtains when housekeeping turned on the light while tiding the room in the morning

the staffs working here are super nice and cute. Room is clean and neat

there is no A/C out of the room, and the waethet at this time is super hot

Centrally located at the heart of Chinatown. Clean and staff were friendly.

Price seem to be higher than others around the same area but I cannot tell whether they are of the same cleaniness, comfort & friendliness

Always enjoy staying here, location, facilities, staff, cleanliness, comfort it is a well thought design, and decor. The service always excedes my expectations, have been coming here for years and is always great, and the upkeep of the facility.

This property is in a very good location right by a train station in China Town. You can easily get to many of the popular tourist destinations from here like the Grand Palace and Golden Mount temples within 30 minutes or less. There’s lots of good street food nearby as well. The outside of the hotel looks a bit old and run down but inside the room it was simple, clean and nice, the ac worked well. The hotel also held our bags in a locked room before check in which was nice. The staff at the desk can speak English. There is also a free breakfast that has toast, milk, jam, cereal, and juice.

There is no elevator but this wasn’t a big deal for us.

Location, hospitality and cleanliness

Besides the main road, a bit noisy esp during the weekend. Not many facilities available, only simple breakfast in the morning

The team at Norn Yaowarat Hotel is always welcoming towards our family. Everyone took very good care of us. We will miss the morning breakfast & visiting the night markets for dinner. Thank you Cat & the entire team for all your hard work & kind hospitality. We will always recommend staying at Norn Yaowarat when we’re in Bangkok.

True backpacker hotel. Not for families

Extreme noise from outside, continuing 24/7. A cockroach ran over me while I was in bed.

the 3 beds room is not suitable. very cramp for a double bed in the upper deck.

Not to be too harsh but wasn't much to like. Staff was friendly but was difficult with communication as we speak verylittle Thai as they speak english.

No elevator, stairs with uneven heights of some steps! handrails were unstable!!! Bathroom very compact with Highstep up into the room. Balcony was very limited with poor! views. No breakfast at hotel or close-by, we walked a waysdown around the corner to the China Hotel to have Breakfast we told the staff at the hotel for a reference if others askedabout breakfast but they appeared not to understand ?
