Room, clean, location
Smokers out by the pool interfering with the air quality of non Smokers like myself. So smelly when Smokers enjoy their addiction in common areas effecting the air of non Smokers like myself. I have to leave these common areas due to smokers!
Comfortable bed and clean room.
The bathroom in room 206 has a sewage smell, making it almost impossible to take a shower. The rooftop pool was dirty, and the windows shown in the photos were also dirty. There are very few places to sit by the pool as well. The rooms have no balconies, and there isn’t even a proper terrace where you can sit. The hotel looks nothing like it does in the photos.
There wasn't much. The hotel was dark, the staff tried to be friendly, but they did not look happy or provide an exceptional service. Typical big city energy where the tourist is the "annoying" customer. That's the energy we got when we arrived from a 30+ hour flight at 6:30 am.
The minimal amount of electricity cords. The minimal amount of space in the room. The darkness across the general reception area. It did not feel inviting to be in the hotel. The night we arrived, there was a guest who went wild in the middle of the night and broke the door. Not sure what that was about but he definitely woke us up while we were recovering from the jetlag. Would have appreciated more communication from the hotel prior to arrival.

I have stayed at the Icon many times. It is a nice hotel, close to restaurants, bars, and transportation. The people that work at the Icon are really what makes the difference, wonderful people. Highly recommend.
