True Siam Rangnam Hotel

The styling of the hotel is very beautiful. It has Thai traditional wood architecture and statues which are a very different backdrop than the usual cement/metal hotels in the area.

Ride sharing services like Grab have a hard time finding the hotel due to maps showing the alley it is on as blocked off.

Spacious, comfortable, well-furnished rooms. Great staff. Free hourly tuk-tuk to BTS and ARL.

The pool is badly maintained - the water feels like acid, burns your eyes.

The breakfast was great!

I received a message while I was on my way that the pool was closed. I broke this hotel because of the pool to relax after a day walking in Bangkok.

Osoblje hotela je uvijek bilo usluzno i ljubazno. Hotel je cist i uredan i nalazi se na odlicnom mjestu. Sve nam je sa Metro (iznad i ispod zemlje) bilo bizu. Obilazili smo grad sa javnim prijevozom.

Nismo imali bazen u funkciji a pored hotela grade kucu i cesto je preko dana bila buka.

We liked the traditional vibes of the space, and that we can walk to the spa and convenience store after our day. Also, staff members are very polite and helpful. We like the energy and attitude esp of the ones in the dining area - she’s very tidy.

The breakfast offered was dull - same everyday with no variety.

Good price, location ok, big bed, helpful staff

Basic facilities, weird wifi with old fashioned login, very bad noise isolation from both outside and between rooms. Yes it is ‘old’ but still it could be better especially as they are selling it as 4* which it is not. Breakfast also very basic.

The staff were so friendly, I was offered a tuk tuk ride to the MRT so I did not have to drag my bags over.

The sewer smell in the bathroom was quite strong.

No sound proofing and noise of school next door activities and strange engine noise within building like a generator. I couldn’t turn off all the lights and keep AC on.

Rooms were really spacious, staff was super nice, hotel had great exchange rates- the best ones we came across. Breakfast was really tasty. Hotel was clean.

Wi-Fi solution was not working really well. When one person logged in, another was not able to use Wi-Fi at all.

Location was good for the price, area was ok for walking and tours with hotel pick-up are available. . Hotel was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was simple but good. Hotel is quaint and atmosphere is nice and calming. Note it's a good idea to make sure you get 2 room keys as when removed from wall insert power to room is shut off, even to AC and fridge, this holds true for many hotels in Thailand. You will need to leave a deposit for room keys that will be returned at check out. Over all it was a nice pleasant stay.

Bed was not comfortable, was really hard, like sleeping on the floor, and rooms could use some minor updating such as charge sockets for cell phones.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the building is attractive indoors and out, our room was clean and comfortable (but see below), the breakfast was excellent and in a lovely room.

In the morning after our first night, there was no running water. The staff was quick and helpful about solving the problem, giving us an alternate room for showering etc., but it was still disconcerting. The AC rattled and groaned, keeping us awake – eventually, setting the fan speed lower solved the problem.

The design of the hotel exterior is so nice. It’s walking distance from an airport line and a BTS station. There are many convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, and massage places around. The staff is kind to us and very helpful whenever we have requests. Everything is good for it’s price except for the wifi

The wifi is too slow, and sometimes the connection is lost from time to time. There is also a 1000 baht deposit which kinda sucks if youre leaving thailand also after your stay here.

The bedroom and bathroom was huge, plenty of space for suitcases and organising clothes.Wifi had excellent connection.Buffet breakfast tasted great with many options.24/7 desk was great for any questions throughout my stay.I availed of the laundry service which was really prompt - they made sure all my clothes were delivered the night before my flight. Everything smelled amazing and felt so soft!I witnessed the fastest concierge of my life, my taxi barely stopped before my luggage was taken care of. Similarly, they took the remaining bag off my shoulder when showing me to my room and ensured I had a walkthrough of the room.Plenty of cafes and 7-Elevens nearby within walking distance.Pool on top floor was added bonus, plenty of chairs and everything was spotless.

everything was amazing :) It is a little far away from the biggest attractions, but at the same time this was a benefit as it meant the neighbourhood was quiet and restful. I used Grab to easily hop around the city.

Nice pool. Big enough for a swim. Had it all to ourselves. The room was good. What I would expect for that price. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The noise from noise the hallways and from other rooms. The walls are very thin and doors seem to only close with a noise. I have been woken up several times during the 3 nights we were there, late at night and early morning. Other than that there is nothing to complain about

We had a great stay! The hotel is well located in a quiet area and very convenient location. The staff is super polite and respectful.Both the common areas and the room were very clean. Beds are comfy, bathroom was spacious.

I would have loved a little more sweet options for breakfast

The elevator floor, when wet from the pool, can be very slippery and a bit dangerous.
