Good location on the outskirts of Chinatown, buffe breakfast OK. I always stay at Krungkasem while in Bangkok. Close to Metro.

Rooms are a bit dull, not bad.

Breakfast was great. Friendly staff and great location near Chinatown.

The common area was under construction during our stay, so the floor felt a little uncomplete. However, it was still great value for money.

The hotel’s location is excellent, conveniently close to the train station and MRT. The staff are attentive, kind, and welcoming. I also loved the free breakfast—the food was delicious.

The room is old and requires renovation. Its location next to the train station makes it noisy due to passing vehicles.

Location. If you are traveling by rail from Hua Lamphong this is ideal, a 2 minute walk! Also close to Chinatown.

Housekeeping was basically non-existent. We left a full trash can and the coffee service/water tray outside our door with the Do Not Disturb sign on. We expected to return to find an empty trash can, as well as a refreshed coffee service and water. Instead, nothing. Breakfast was pretty basic.

Excellent location with easy access to local attractions. Main transport with in minutes of walking distance.

Some rooms facing the road could have the distraction of traffic noise.

It was a little colder than I realized, but it was still very clean.

There are just a few good things.The location of the hotel is good, and the best thing is the staff. They were very nice and helpful. But still I would not choose this accomodation next time. Breakfast was ok, but nothing so special.

Why? The biggest reason is that the hotel is right next to a big street with a lot of traffic. It would not be a problem if the hotel did not have wooden and old windows and old balcony doors. The noise in the room was just too loud. We needed to sleep with our earphones with ANC on, but still didn´t get good sleep. I didn´t see this in any feedback, but this is a big red flag if you want to get a good rest.The beds were very stiff, and the room was not very clean. Especially the bathroom was dirty, and there was mold. Photos of rooms of the hotel look a lot better than reality.

Super friendly Stuff and a clean room. The Breakfast buffet is good money value. A 2 hours early check-in was granted with no problem and leaving the luggage at check-out was also possible.

If you like luxury this hotel is not the place for you.Only one Soap dispenser near the shower and none at the sink. and no shampoo. For 3 nights was bot realy a big problem.

High pillows

The staffs are very helpful and friendly.The breakfast is good as there are fixed and daily change menus. The hotel is very close to the Hua Lamphong MRT station.It is a convenient 13-minute walk to Chinatown.

1) Shampoo is not provided. 2) The bathroom floor is slippery. My friend slipped and fell but she was OK.3) The plastic disposable water bottles. Please consider using glass and reusable water bottles.

Very warm and supportive staff made the stay comfortable for us. Rooms are very old styled and below par but location is helpful to reach all major attractions for temples and markets in near proximity. Breakfast was very good for kids and vegetarian options were also decent. They also took care of our special request for fasting by providing Frech Fries. They also helped us in managing our luggage for 1 week as we stayed twice at their property while entering and leaving Thailand.Reception Area and Restaurant is well maintained but rooms and floors need major revamp.We acknowledge the Hotel Management for creating such a warm and positive culture amongst staff ensuring customer delight !!

I stayed at this hotel for one night and chose it because of its proximity to Chinatown. It is indeed just a 10-minute walk away.The room was very clean and had a nice city view. The hotel is located by the river and right across from the train station, which is very convenient.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all my questions with a smile. The hotel and rooms have a retro design, which I really liked.The buffet breakfast was quite satisfying, offering a wide variety of food options. It gave me the perfect start to the day.Additionally, the staff kindly helped me with my luggage, which I really appreciated.

I didn’t find many negative aspects during my stay, but I couldn’t find a place to hang the showerhead. Maybe this could be improved.

Nice and handy for walking to Chinatown. Bangkok Train Station straight across the road. Comfy bed. Views if you're on the train station side.

It's in serious need of some TLC. The room is very tired. Take earplugs. I was on the 7th floor, on the train station side. There is a lot of traffic noise.

Very good service. They stored part of my baggage for about one week while I was travelling to Laos. They did not charge for this service.

The hotel was old and rooms were not clean. Furniture was so old and not good taken care off. We had the Bangkok 7.7 earthquake and stuff did not informed ua about the state of emergency . The city was in a caos and we had to walk back km to come home.

The lady in charge of the hotel was charming, friendly and very attentive. In a hard and in a hurry moment for us she accompanied us attentively to the train, she even managed to buy the ticket for us and even guided us to the train carriage!Ah, breakfast is really great!We highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed there in mid of March, one step to Chinatown & Hualamphong Station, view from the room was good, bed is very clean, Non bedbug, English & Chinese ok, staff working with a smile, many Restaurants around, good breakfast.
