Isanook Bangkok

The staff was very nice. We had a mis-understanding in the beginning regarding the cost of the breakfast buffet. I thought that it was included, but the staff said no. We reached an acceptable compromise and all were satisfied.

Getting to and from the hotel is a challenge. It wasn't so bad after I figured where to walk to, but it was still laborius. Suggest that Isanook make a walking map with the main attractions on it. This would make getting to and from a lot easier.

Everything was amazing, shower was awesome good amenities and room service was sub par.

Location was alright, tucked into a random little area

We enjoyed the nice swimming pool, long enough to do length, and spa at the top floor.

10-15 minutes walk to Sam Yan station and ferry terminal to Icon Siam. We didn’t mind walking in the evening, but day time was a bit hot to walk.

As usual, iSanook has been exceptional. I always stay here whenever I visit Bangkok. Local stalls and shops, in the meandering alleys, offer tasty treats in the day. The studio room provides a splendid view of the nearby skyline.

CAUTION! Beware of potential scammers

Very bad experience:To catch our flight we had to checkout in a rush. The staff took forever to check the room so we had to leave without taking the security deposit back. Afterwards they made up a stain on the bedsheets and refused to pay the deposit back!!Even after several complaints they did not pay us back, and did not react to our request of photo proof. We told them to wash the sheets first and if there really are any stains afterwards we are ok to pay for it, but all they did was send an invoice and kept the 1000 Thb for themselves. We are very upset and cannot recommend a stay after this untrustworthy behavior.

Spacious!

We stayed for four nights and our key cards never worked properly. I was asked by the reception to update my key card everyday for no reason. We booked a room with a fully equipped kitchen , but they didn't provide dish washer or sponge to clean...

Most of the time, I'm coming here when I'm in Bangkok. - Employees are kind, and helpful- The facilities are nice : pool, gym, jacuzzi, restaurant with beautiful view, coffee shop for breaky, lunch, and working- Close to the city if you want to visit- Real Bangkok, not in the touristy place

Too pricy when you don't have nice discount.

Still my favourite place to stay in Bangkok. Have been coming here since it first opened. All the staff are great especially Lucky on the front desk and the manager always ensures we have a great stay. Love the area and the facilities and it was fantastic to celebrate Songkran here.

Advertised as Eco Studio ! Scam. Its just a normal hotel room.

New and renovated structure, full of greenery. Breakfast average. Good value for money. Neighbourhood and surrounding a bit unappealing.

Guest policy: a prostitute started yelling around 3/4 am in the night with one guest; I was very very surprised about this situation not to say disappointed and annoyed. The hotel should select clients and have a strict security code on who is allowed to enter as guests. Both the lady and the man stopped yelling only when security arrived. Unbelievable.

From checkin to checkout and everything in between was great.The design and quality of the building, the landscaping and the cafe at the roof all were enjoyable.My room fit my needs perfectly.

The pool water could have been 2 degrees warmer.

Located in a quiet area on the boundary of the city, iSanook is comfortably located to many of the top attractions in Bangkok see. Impeccably clean rooms and facilities, served by very friendly and willing to help staff.

The breakfast was rather basic with fake looking strawberry jam.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was comfortable. Just around the corner is a quaint street with very local authentic Thai food and friendly people. Here we ate authentically, bought fruit and fresh fruit shakes on the way back. The breakfast was very delicious, on the sixth floor, so you have the opportunity of eating on the rooftop or inside the restaurant.

The location is slightly hard to find, but it’s like every local sees your lost face and knows how to direct you without even asking. Then once you find the 7/11 on the corner you realise this is the easiest point to navigate from and it’s actually quite simple. Our grab driver even found his way perfectly outside as we left, despite a couple of previous drivers circling the block a second time due to the one way system getting in the way. In the night time you aren’t in a busy area, but we managed to walk our way about 20minutes up the most light street which led us to a night market where there was some life around. Finally there was no fan in the bathroom which was quite unusual, and obviously fans can be beneficial in many ways.
