The shower is quite good in strength and temperature. However the drainage was slow. Another in my party had a similar experience with their shower.

The hotel was sorely lacking in cleanliness.

The lighting is too dim and the on/off switch is inconvenient.

Great location - fantastic renovation from the last time that I stayed at this same hotel. It's very clean and modern now.

One of the two rooms that we had was having Air Conditioning issues and the room temperature was very high. Eventually they put us in a new room.

Manager is incompetent. Rooms were dirty. They did. It accommodate requests and lied about availability (hotel was not fully booked). Manager has poor attitude

Upon our arrival. No one helped us with our luggage to our rooms. We were not offered a choice of what floor we wanted to stay on. Rooms did not look like what was advertised on the Internet and A/C was turned down on our last nights stay.

Room rate was ok. Staff were courteous and very helpful. The reservation manager, Jerald, was particularly helpful in arranging for my hotel pick-up at the last minute. The front desk staff, particularly this one lady (didn't get her name) was efficient and helpful, too. Location was good, near where I needed to go to. It's also not in busy, traffic-jam prone area.The room was spacious, well-appointed and clean. The room service food and service were excellent. The bed linen were crisp and clean. The room itself was quite clean. Ample hangers in the closet.

The person supposed to wait for me at the airport wasn't at the appointed spot and I ended up having to call the hotel and waiting 15 minutes. The hotel staff called the driver directly. The driver then quickly went to where I was. He put me comfortably in the car and then looked for the woman who was supposed to meet to tell her that he had found me. For a 5-star hotel, the room was underwhelming. Lighting not good. The electrical plugs were inconveniently located and not enough. There were no phone plugs unlike in other 4 or 5-star hotels. Nescafe coffee in the room was also disappointing. Very poor channel selections on TV. Might also need to clean and service the aircon. Breakfast fare is good but could be improved with more thai dishes. Service could also be improved. There needs to be a server stationed near the entrance to help guests find a table, guide them there, and explain where everything is in terms of, e.g. where the coffee is, if guests can get freshly-cooked eggs, etc. Perhaps ask whether they want coffee or tea and serve the first cup to their table. The door people are not very welcoming or helpful.

The lifts were very slow - often waiting up to 10 minutes. The pool is very small.

The renovation is old, the service is poor for a 5-star hotel, and the pool looks worse than in the photos.

Lovely staff, good location if visiting Silom, professionally run hotel, cleaners did a good job. Rooms were clean.

The building is looking a little tired and the pool is pretty old. Admittedly the pool is undergoing renovations so it might be better in the futre.

Cleaning staff was very nice and the room was clean.

Despite annoying me regarding my arrival time so the room could be ready, it still wasn’t ready when I checked in. On top of that, they informed there would be a $30 charge if I wanted early check-in, yet I didn’t receive any compensation for their late check-in (way after 3pm).The reception was understaffed – always a line. The elevators were painfully slow – always a wait.The AC didn’t work properly: it was either freezing cold or off, regardless of the setting.The shower design was poor as well. Water constantly leaked out through the opening in the shower box, leaving the entire bathroom floor wet after every use.

Excellent value for money. Large bright rooms, very clean. Great burger restaurant.Lovely rooftop bar.

The pool was quite small.

- 1st night AC was not cooling the room down at all. I advised reception and was told to change room, without even sending an engineer. I was heading out but had to delay plans and repack my cases. Understand maintenance issues occur but not even an apology offered. New room coffee machine didn’t work. I reported it, nothing happened. - The manager on duty during breakfast on the second morning of my stay was fairly unprofessional. I didn’t have breakfast included so paid at the door . Everyone else was shown to the table , I was not. He walked around and others took coffee orders, again nobody approached me. The manager had given iced americanos and lattes to guests, when I asked was told “only hot coffee”. No plates were cleared from my table in the 30 minutes I was there whilst the manager spoke to his favourite guests and ignored others. First time to actually be ignored by staff and offered no service service. When I left, the same manager was standing at the door and all staff chatting , not even a “thank you” . Very odd. - Paid 3000B for late checkout till 10pm, which is fine. Upon checkout, he asked why I’m just checking out now as if I’d done something wrong, despite already paying for it 24 hours before. No help from any staff on check out with my 2 suitcases which is normally offered in 5 star hotels down the steps.

The room was lovely and clean, really quiet and the bed was the most comfortable I've know for a long time. Also, the breakfast was amazing, so delicious and a big selection, they even had green curry which was one of the best I've ever had.

In case of earthquake they will not refund you ?

I left the room destroyed at 28th floor because the earthquake and i had to change hotel. They didn't refund me. Maybe I should have slept among the rubble

Good location and super roof top bar and restaurant. Excellent breakfast.

Rooms were in need of an update

Nice room, lovely breakfast and excellent location... pool and gym with a nice bar on the 5th floor is more than recommendable... on top, there is a very nice restaurant on the top floor, fantastic view and nice sparkling wine from New Zelland... Cheers!
