Lub d Bangkok Chinatown

The hotel was located quite close to a lot including a 7-11. The room was quite spacious and the high ceilings made it seem larger than it was.

It couldn't be helped, but the hotel was right beside loud construction of a new building so earplugs and white noise were necessary if you face the street.

The staff was very good at giving recommendations. Location was excellent! The hostel felt very new and was super clean. Would 10 out of 10 stay here again.

Coffee machine was a nice touch, although at 50 baht it seemed high.

The staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The design and layout of the place including the room was great. Everything was quite clean, spacious, and set up well. Location is great and I imagine that it will only get better once the construction outside finishes

I dropped something underneath the bed and found it to be quite dusty under there. Everything else was very clean

Very shic and nicely decorated hotel, which has a unique vibe. Items what you need & extra beers available around the clock at the reception. Close to metro & good streetfood in china town. Would recommend, or come again.

Great location 1 minute away from the metro, good staff, lovely bed (and it's very important as I'm 2 m tall, and I didn't feel like the bed was small)

Maybe too many extra charges, like lock, washing machine, etc.But it's a hostel, so kinda expected

The design was modern and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable, clean and pleasant. The staff are amazing and friendly, they made the stay here truly enjoyable.

Mind the location- it is very close to the MRT but is definitely on the outskirts of Chinatown so the main attractions are walkable but not very close. Also there is a bit of construction going on near the hotel but this is of course temporary.

It is very loud in the room all night since there is a super busy road right under windows. You also get complementary ear plugs for that ?...Massive construction in the area right next to the hotel makes the surroundings less than pleasant for the time being.

Great place, staff is friendly and supportive. The room is clean and spacious, nice fit for couple. The design of hotel itself brings a funky style, making you feel comfortable also. Just few steps to MRT Sam Yot. Easy to travel to other areas. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Not a don't like thing, but there is a MRT construction site just in front of the hotel, which might bring some inconvenience for those who are light sleepers and sensitive with dust. The hotel did prepare earplugs for guests, which is highly appreciated.

It was clean, and when I asked to be moved to a different room, they did it with no questions asked. The first room was clean, but the smell was just so bad. The second room they moved me to was perfect!

I booked bc it was soo close to the MRT (train). That saw the big reason since we are backpacking.But the quality of the entire facility blew me away. It was/is GREAT.From being able to print a page from our phone to holding our backpacks after checking out before our late flight, just great service.we WILL DEFINATELY seek LUB d facilities in the future.

Location close to metro. Short taxi to iconsiam and temples and Khao San road if on list. Further to get to sukhumvit and rooftop bars if more your fancy.Rooms clean and comfortable. We appreciated this more when we arrived at our next hotel im Chiang Mai.Excellent value for what you get.

There were roadworks on road outside, made life slightly more complicated when getting taxis and spoilt view. But it wasn’t really a problem for us and we loved the stay over all.

close to the China Town, friendly staff, spacious and clean room

very noisy, there is a construction very close to the hotel, it seems to has just started recently but hotel should make it clear in the offer/booking, knowing it I would definitely choose a different one

I stay here often when I have things to do around Chinatown. The staff here is fairly consistent, the rooms are comfortable, and the location is great.

The bed was very comfortable, a big locker (although a bit too small to fit a backpack in), several plugs near the bed, as well as a little mirror and shelf, which was very convenient. The bathroom was nicely clean. Employees were helpful.

There was no bed linnen for a blanket. Only a fleece blanket, which gets a bit sticky and too warm. Luckily i brought my own sheet. Not really a social hostel. Hard to make contact with others.

This is a lovely hostel. Clean, airconditioned rooms, elevator.

The main problem with this place is that it has no kitchen or even close by cafes. There is a microwave and a kettle to heat water. However there are no dishes, no utensils- you can’t even make a cup of tea because there are no cups.

Location is not good my opinion is that ok you have subway there but is far for almost all attractions

The room was amazing with spacious room and living area, very clean, a comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom.

Construction in front of the hotel is loud and doesnt allow sleeping past 6:30 AM.

The only shower that drained was in the private bathroom- which was hardly ever available.

The rooms were clean and the hostel was clean.

I have stayed at other lub d locations and this location felt more like a hotel. When we came in the people who work for the hostel took my passport and told me to sit down. They came back gave me my hotel key and told me my room number. They did not explain where facilities were in the hostel, provide me information on local activities. They were nice but it felt like checking into a hostel and not warm like the other lub d hostels. I chose a hostel over a hotel for the community feeling. There was not any food locations close by and only light snacks were sold near the front desk. The location was in Chinatown and near the mrt but nothing was in super close walking distance compared to other hostels I’ve stayed at.

Central location and as advertised it was steps away from the MRT station. Room was modern, clean and spacious. If you wanted to walk to places, it’s about a 20-30 minute walk to places like Chinatown and The Grand Palace and Rajadamnern Stadium. It’s also located close to buses and good food spots.

Out of the hotels control but there’s currently ongoing construction outside. You can’t really hear it whilst inside but it does mean the roads traffic only goes one way so buses detour around and Grabs have to come via that direction.
