The Fig Lobby Bangkok

It is a very cool, artistic property. We had a comfortable room and we liked the rooftop terrace. Staff is friendly.

I was a bit taken aback that hotel guests had to pay to use the pool. The food in the restaurant was okay, but not great.

Location isn’t the best as you are in quiet a busy area with a local good market which comes with its set of smells when walking to the nearest station.However the shuttle that the hotel offers is very efficient and takes you to main lines which is super nice and practical!

Hello the fig, everything is nice inside the hotel specially the staff. the thing is the view. Maybe if u have budget give the neighbors free pain so they can color their roofs. I beem hearing complaints about your guest. thats its a nice place but the area is not so nice. But if the houses is painted specifically roofs it will be more nicers. Pls paint the neighborhood roof so the view from the roof top will be nice

This is a really cute hotel. Its perfect for a short stay. My room was so spacious. The one thing that stood out is the rooftop. The food was amazing and the breakfast spread was the best I had had in my entire trip. You just want to spend your whole time hanging out on the roof.

Feels like the rooms can do with a bit of refresh. The walls were a bit dirty and some furniture was wobbly and had chips. Just an overall refresh might make one feel a bit more comfy.

Fun, artsy vibe with colorful murals, quirky little extras in the room and a ceramics workshop. There is a mellow, spa feel running through the place, and the rooftop is perfect for sunset drinks and late-night chats. The food was delicious, too.

The location makes it so that you need extra eyes especially at night but nothing different than a big city anywhere else in the world.

Staff was wonderful, very helpful. The massage I got at the spa (90 min deep) was amazing! The decor is very fun :) There was an event the night I stayed that I wasnt aware of and the restaurant closed at 5pm, which was a bummer.

Location was ok although bit far from all attractions. About 15 minutes by taxi to most famous touristic spots. Very close to big park area. Hotel has very authentic and unique with regards to visual experience. Room was big with nice bathroom and balcony. They have very interesting mini bar options including also condoms different sizes. Hotel has kind of fetish touch. Everywhere is artistic expression. Bar at the roof top was nice with good food and cocktails options.

Staff was all the time mentioning things that are extra and have to be paid. It was clear for us that some things are extra but some things are ridicules. Breakfast is "a la carte". I order big breakfast with eggs, sausages bacon, beans, ... and I asked for bread, but it was not included. It was extra charge. We had reservation for 2 adults for 2 nights in one room with king size bed. But for some reason they said that breakfast was included only for one person. In hotel every day is some private event, and either bar or restaurant are closed for regular guests.

The WiFi is absolutely terrible. For several days it didn’t work in my room. Later the staff helped me to connect to the lobby WiFi which crashed every five minutes.I am not low tech but I still couldn’t figure out how the AC works. Instead of a remote they have this colorful thing on the wall and I had no idea what I’m doing and I’m just 30. No q-tips :/

The reception staff, specially one of the lady staff was very unapproachable, anything you asks her somehow her answers start with no. The men at the counter seemed to be more willing to assist and friendly Breakfast isnt buffet and there is a set menu you can choose from. Wasnt that great

Far from everything, my order from breakfast was sold out twice , my reservation included breakfast , on day of stay i couldnt have a table due to event and they gave at table for the event staff

I like the ambiance, it’s very relaxing. The breakfast was amazing and the detox juice was so nice.

I didn’t like that the breakfast was amazing, I felt bad that I wasn’t able to finish as it was too much for me…

Interior and exterior desing

When we first arrived, the hotel stood out like an oasis in the desert. The artsy design, both inside and out, looked truly impressive and gave us high expectations. Check-in was quick and smooth, and at that moment everything seemed fine.Things changed as soon as we walked into the room. Instead of a proper bed, we were given two singles pushed together. The beds themselves looked comfortable and clean, but the rest of the room was a letdown. Cobwebs in the corners, stains on the walls, and a bathroom that clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly — it was disappointing to say the least.Interaction with the staff didn’t help either. The young employees at the lobby struggled with English and often seemed unsure of what to say or how to guide us, which made even simple requests frustrating.Then there was the location. The hotel is far from the metro and other public transport. Yes, there’s a shuttle, but you need to factor in at least a 15-minute ride plus up to a 30-minute wait in line. It felt more like a hassle than a convenience.In the end, the overall experience just didn’t match the price we paid. What looked promising at first turned into a disappointment, and it’s not a place I’d recommend to others.

The architecture of this hotel is retro-futuristic, colorful, and romantic. The staff were excellent, and they give you a free frozen yogurt at check-in along with a coupon for a free drink. The food is also top-notch.

The building stands out in this old neighborhood, but it takes quite a while to reach the hotel from the city center. I wish it were in a different location.

So many nice little details: welcome drink, welcome ice cream, the coolest furniture and interior decorations, the spa.

The location wasn't great, a bit dodgy but the shuttle should help. The restaurant really was a bit disappointing. I was hoping for better breakfast and vegan options.

Interior design, decoration and lighting. Bathroom and room are also very clean and comfortable. Excellent aesthetics that boost the overall guest's mood.Restaurant is also very nicely decorated in a e s t h e t i c style. Very satisfied with the food. The ambience and decoration of the room elevated the taste of the food. Very aesthetically pleasing. The guest's mood is boosted as it is very aesthetically satisfying to be dining in this restaurant. Staff are also very helpful and polite.

Coffee machine provided but no coffee capsules. Was told that the coffee machine is used to boil water which is strange. Was given an electric kettle upon request though.Should provide user manual to inform guest on how to change colour of LED lighting via the remote on the wall opposite bathroom.
