Dang Derm Khaosan

Hotel was very centrally located. Easy access to all that Khaosan had to offer ... street vendors, transportation, great food and ATMs all at the hotel's footsteps.

Don't plan on sleeping early if your room faces the street like ours did. You'll be partying even if you hadn't planned on it.

The rooms were decent but the beds were uncomfortable. The location is in the middle of a party street, if that is what you're looking for.

The front desk staff was TERRIBLE. Extremely angry, ill tempered and pushy. They did not greet you or make your experience comfortable in any way. Also, the balcony facing rooms are all in front of Khaosan Rd. and the noise of the music blares until 4am.

The location is on the centre of khaoson road but the rooms have no sound proof is really impossible to sleep. If motivation is pure party until 6:00 all days then is ok

The location is perfect if you are looking for action of Bangkok! The rooftop pool was the highlight for us!

Many people already commented about it being too loud. Yes it is very noisy but we knew this coming in and weren’t all that bothered by the noise. Also, the second you leave the hotel everyone is trying to sell you something. Again, we knew what we’re getting ourselves into so it’s not bad if you’re looking for the hustle and bustle of the city.

Family room faces khao San road and is very loud ear plug are a must and that only just helps only there for one night so no big deal

SO LOUD THAT WE WERE NOT ABLE TO SLEEP

We stayed in a family room. The beds were on the floor. the bathroom was not the most sanitary and THE NOISE was actually insane. it was so insanley loud that we could not hear eachother speak in our room. the hotel provided us earplugs but they were not enough. we asked to switch rooms and nothing was done. we got no sleep. the music was blaring from the street

Convenient location. Basic hotel but you get what you pay for!

We stayed last year and had a twin room with big bathroom and lots of space. However this year we booked a queen room and had the tiniest room. The sink from bathroom was actually located in the bed/wardrobe area! Our triple room was on the strip so the noise was horrendous. Should be informed beforehand if this is the case.

This place is so bad it’s hard to put into words! If you think you’re getting a hotel then think again, it’s more hostel in a private room! If you want to sleep, think again. You aren’t. Music is so loud from the street and it goes on till 6am. We checked out after one night.

It is as described. Lovely rooftop and pool and nice location.

They could have given us one more room key which would have been helpful.

Nice room with the added bonus of a bath - the roof bar and pool were an added bonus

The hotel is on the Kahosan road which is very handy but also very very noisy late at night - we realised this but please be aware

Absolutely horrible location unless you like to feel like you're sleeping inside a boom blaster. The room was situated right above the bars, facing the party street. We were not able to sleep even though we had ear plugs and pillows, towels and duves wrapped around our heads

Staff not always friendly apart from the manager, had to use a towel to stop the sewage smell coming into the room from the shower drain (not really their fault. Thai plumbing)

Location is great. Staff are amazing. Beds are comfortable and room is very clean.

My room was at behind therefore it was okay but if you book a room on the Khoasan Road it might be very hard to sleep because of the loud noise.

Dump would be nice

We knew this hotel was in Bangkok's party district, but it's a disgrace. It reeks of ass and smoke, has no soundproofing, so street music invades your room. The bed is lumpy, cockroaches abound, and the breakfast is unfit for dogs. Stay here only if you're desperate; otherwise, steer clear.

Good location, friendly staff, rooftop area. The pool was lovely. There was some noise but it didn't bother my sleep. I guess the noise levels would vary depending on room location as well.
