The Great Residence Suvarnabhumi Airport

Near BKK airport.

We have stayed many times over the last 15 years and though there have been outdoor upgrades, service at the restaurant and other things have gone down. On this trip we stayed twice in 3 weeks. I paid for an airport transfer but they only transfer 1 way.

I appreciate the service from the staff. They responded to my email quickly and in english. They picked up and dropped me off at the airport with a decent breakfast in my belly. I rested well before another long flight and at an affordable cost. Thanks!

The bellman complained about his tip. The reception missed my wakeup call.

Nice pool. Nice massage. Good food. A little oasis before or after a flight. Walk out the hotel to find vendors. Great for airport shuttle.

The person who checked us in was rude. Bed was hard. No hot water.

Close to BKK airport

The water running too slow, , the air conditioner too loud , window can’t lock properly, the bed is too uncomfortable to sleep. I feel like I lay down on the floor.

Wanted to stay again 2 months later reception could not book future room so I had to do it myself online

Got bed bugs!!!! WiFi and ac were very poor quality

They did not have the correct room I requested. However on my itinerary it says the correct room. There were not even a correct mattress. Just a sheet over a box spring. Piles of trash bags outside room doors. They did not apply my free breakfast even though it showed on my itinerary. I was not recommend this hotel

Nice big pool. Room was comfortable. Close from the airport. Some English spoken which is good and helpful. Breakfast buffet ok.Close to Airport. Hotel has a shuttle, but you can't book it for your arrival.

Tried to contact the hotel 1 month before to ask about the hotel shuttle. Nobody answered on Booking Chat or the email! Contacted Booking.com they also tried, no success. Reception said " Nobody in charge to check emails.Unfortunately I could not book the Hotel Shuttle, which was cheaper than to get on my own to the hotel. No veg. food on the menu for dinner/lunch.

There is only one purpose for this place: to be close to the airport. We didn’t sleep there, and luckily. But the shuttle to the airport is great, and the staff are very nice.

The place looks very outdated. We came from our hotel for a couple of hours before our flight, to be close to the airport. The room was dirty and old. Even not mention the toilet and shower. And many mosquitoes all over.

I am staying here many times and I do love how the location is very close to the airport! Very convenient if you just need to sleep before your next flight.

Make sure that you remind them or update them about your flight getting in later. I had emailed them and let them know. When I was going to arrive because a shuttle was to be there I thought but when I got in later, I didn’t see a shuttle. Make sure you clarify when booking that they will come.

Needed a place close to the airport. Thru booking possible to include transfer. When I got the hotel staff was very nice.Food for breakfast was ok.

I tried to order transportation for my arrival but no reply either thru the app or thru their email.Needed to call the place for that.My room was at 4th floor. No elevator. Shower (si small. Not even a curtain) rught near the toilet.

The location was great and offered a clean room with good service. Also reasonable 150 baht charge to/from airport, but everything is done by calling the hotel, i.e. booking transport.

There are lots of weird steps and dip on the property so always watch your step.

I really appreciated the location of the hotel—it’s conveniently close to the airport. The swimming pool was a great bonus for relaxation. The breakfast offered was decent, and the room itself was comfortable and pleasant.

When we entered the room, there were a lot of mosquitoes. We reported this to the staff, who sprayed mosquito repellant, but unfortunately, it didn’t help much. Another disappointing issue was the late checkout fee of 100 baht. This charge was never mentioned at reception or on Booking.com. We were only 30 minutes late, and when we explained that we were unaware of the fee, the staff responded dismissively, insisting it was hotel policy and we had to comply. It was my first time paying a late checkout penalty for just 30 minutes, and I found this experience very frustrating. If such fees apply, they should be clearly communicated at reception or on Booking.com within the terms and conditions.

Not much to like. I guess location was good since its close to the airport but theres alot of other options close to the airport too that you should probably look at instead

Room was decent enough but pictures definitely are touched up, everything is more run down than the pictures show. Pool was dirty. Location would be good since close to airport, but its next to a canal so lots of mosquitoes and theres not much to do within walking distance. I would look at the many other options around the airport. Price wasnt bad but higher than it should be for what you're getting. Wifi SUCKS! Almost impossible to connect to and really weak when you do connect on rare occasions. Advertised bicycle and fishing gear rental on booking.com and with signs near the lobby but when asked they said they dont have either available, so even moreso being next to that canal is only a negative. I would avoid this place at all costs
