The Tarntawan Hotel Surawong Bangkok

The hotel offers very good value for money. It is very close to the Patpong night market and nightlife. This is the second time that I’ve stayed there.

Impossibile turn off the air conditioned without turn out the light. Impossibile to have light througth the window

The location and the comfortable and clean rooms and not to big and commercial, it has a personal touch!

It could use some small repairs here and there as it is an old hotel

The front door staff and also the woman working in the coffee bar were exceptional.

The AC controls were pretty much just on and/or off. The remote was not working properly. We had someone look at it, but didnt fix it.

Budget-hotel on an unsightly location in the middle of the bars-and-massage-district of Patpong. Courtous staff and goodsized, clean room, decent breakfast. Delivers well for the money!

2nd time staying at the hotel and it totally exceeded my expectations. Staff are friendly as well as responsive and patient to my enquiries. Check-in was fast and smooth. Hotel was located at the back of a short alley, away from the main road traffic. Plenty of amenities surrounding or nearby the hotel to meet all your needs. The mrt and skytrain are all within walking distance for you to get to the attractions that you want to go.

Hotel is located off a main road, so getting to and from the hotel will sometimes require a bit of your patience but that can't be helped. Public transportation are nearby, so nothing much to complain about.

This was a great hotel with great staff that is centrally located and a hidden gem with big rooms that are comfortable.

Room cleaned and amenities provided everyday. Staff were very polite. Safe and fridge in executive room. They has a restaurant on the ground floor but I did not use it.

Wifi was just ok. could not watch movies on ipad but youtube and browsing was ok. Anyway the data is very cheap on phone so could use hotspot for ipad. Would prefer smart tv in room for this price.

Before this you have smoking room. But now.. dont have. I was really disappointed.

Always happy to be back on the premises. The rooms are basic but spacious and ok. Bathroom a bit cramped. The lobby is welcoming.It is a plus that the venue has an all day restaurant. The quality offered changes greatly by the skills of the cook in action. The young lady serving breakfast delivered good service all the time.

There is not much to dislike. I like that they work to upgrade. One morning the lift was in repair. Can happen but slightly inconvenient for a bit disabled guest.

WE did not get the room we had booked. According to booking.com we had booked a room with private balcony. We got a room without private balcony. With a window which could not be opened. There was a grating in front of the window. Like a prison. We chwcked out after one night.They said they had no rooms with private balconies. Do not book a room with balcony there. Awfull room.

The hotel's location is amazing!! It was in walking distance to everything, great food, market, night life etc. The room was nice and clean, it was a bit dated but I expected this from reading other reviews before booking. The staff were really friendly.
