Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam

* Location - Next to Platinum Mall, 5 mins walk to Central World and another 5 mins by the skybridge to Siam Paragon. We were with my mum on her wheelchair and although there's a skybridge from Platinum Mall to Central World, we couldn't use the bridge as there's no lift at the end of the bridge by Central World. However, we were able to go by the pedestrian walkway safely. From Central World to Siam Paragon, the skybridge can be used as the level leads straight into and out of Siam Paragon. So accessibility is overall ok. * Room - Family room with bunk bed good for us 3. Top deck of bunk bed very close to ceiling if you don't mind. Able to place 1 mid-sized and 1 hand carry suitcases away nicely in the room and there's still space for my mum's wheelchair without any clutter in the room?. The bathroom is simply designed and great for accessibility. There's also a separate good sized toilet unit in the bathroom.* Breakfast - Clean and pleasant coffee house with good selections?. Very well-done egg white omelette and nice Thai noodle soup too.* Service - Excellent service by the Room Division Manager who chatted with us at breakfast and we were very pleasantly surprised when we returned to the room to find that she had made arrangement for extra towels/floor mats & rubber floor mats in the bathroom to make it safer for mum??. * Nice roof top bar with good Mediterranean food - even for me as a non-Mediterranean food fan!

Nothing but it'd be even better if the hotel would accommodate and commit to connecting room request for guests like us with wheelchair person as the design of the bigger room size is still not as ideal as 2 connecting rooms for 3-4 pax.

We have an executive lounge we asked them only to drink sprite take a way and they refused all the timeWe didn’t like because we pay a lot

For new year celebration , all the view fireworks windows places in hotel was charged a-lot and no special price for people who staying in the hotel, we should pay to enter the swimming pool area at fireworks time around 16000 BHt for table for two person and 4500 BHt to access only. Also the main restaurant at the lobby was charging a-lot to view the moment of new year.

The location is amazing if your want to be near the main malls and not to far from the city center. Tons of food options and the aquarium is nearby.

Fruits, breads and choices of coffee

Not much choice for viand for breakfast. As a rice eater in the morning, i was expecting more viand example- corned beef, hotdogs

The location is the best as it’s close to the Platinum mall and other shopping mall

We have stayed there multiple times and always look forward to the stay

The reception staff offered excellent service in welcoming us and assigning us to an upgraded room.

Unfortunately the property doesn’t have a ground floor with any outdoor green space to be enjoyed by visitors.

it was very loud, construction and the bed had wheels? which was moving all the time we sleep in a position and wake up in other side of the room, i wish the rooms where more sound proof l, the checkout was a bit rough we were late to the airport but still they made us even more late i don’t know what took them so long

When I arrived staff told me rooms were sold out; I went online and made reservation same hotel.

Nothing nuch. Cold water which couldn't be fixed heater not working. Furnishings look dated. My colleague had a room which drawers kept opening on their own.

The hotel is under maintenance and the room have so many problems such painting smell, water leaking, bed keep moving because the bed has wheels and the floor no carpets, I had to change my room 4 times in 5 days stay.

Location value for money

I’ve been going there since it opened and the facilities need an upgrade

The location is perfect — especially for those who come to shop. It’s easily one of the most convenient hotels for tourists, with everything just a short walk away. We loved our room — clean, modern, and comfortable. We also appreciated having a Relax Spa right within the hotel, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.

The only unpleasant experience we had was when we accidentally left our medicine and vitamins at the hotel’s breakfast area. When we went back the next day to ask about them, none of the staff seemed to have noticed or found anything. It would be great if the hotel could have a more organized lost and found system to assist guests in similar situations.

What an amazing property with cleanliness , location, food and everything

Centrally located, walking distance to the shopping malls. breakfast is excellent! So many food variety.

The swimming pool was closed due to maintenance and airconditioning stopped in the middle of the night due to electrical issue.

We were not informed about renovations when we book and during week of stay didn’t have swimming pool and roof top bar.Staffs struggle to give compensations to many angry customers but not good enough.Initially we were given a room right above of swimming pool which drilling very loudly and with complain staff changed us to high floor .She said it is upgrade but it was same room in higher floor.We could hear noise in reception area quite loud but staffs seem not hear anything. Just reacting to complaints. In the end it is not their fault. Just poor management of hotel.

The staff was good. The location superb.

I wasn't informed that the gym & pool are being renovated. It was pretty noisy due to the renovation work. I find the sofa in the room to be very uncomfortable. The dining chairs in the restaurant are also very uncomfortable. There was also a leakage from the bathroom sink that we noticed when we were about to check out (I did inform the front desk when we checked out).

The reception staff was not excellent, it was reasonable because I had booked 3 rooms and one of the rooms was not the appropriate size I had booked and they did not change the room. Other than that, everything was good.
