    Pros +

    • The rooms were big and the beds were super comfortable. Everything was cleaned and in great condition. The staff was helpful and very kind. My mom loved the Jazz music that they offer on certain dates and the courtyard was a nice respite away from the busy streets.
    • I loved how close it was to everything. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff were excellent, especially Sand, she went above and beyond to help us with our excursions and to make our stay very good!
    • The ambiance was fantastic, restaurant and courtyard were very beautiful spaces. The decor was very well done. Didn’t get to experience the live jazz but could imagine that to be a fantastic addition to the atmosphere.

    Cons -

    • We were on the 2nd floor facing the street and because it was an older building, the windows were older, single pane glass so it got noisy. They did provide ear buds to help reduce the noise while you sleep.
    • Would have liked to have had towel racks or hooks in the bathroom to hang up our towels.
    • The rooms were a little too dark at times, the lighting for the mirror over our sink was very bad.

We definitely enjoyed the interesting vintage decor and jazz nights at the restaurant on the weekends. We had a Deluxe suite with 2 levels connected by a cast iron spiral staircase and bathrooms on each level which was convenient.

The walls are very thin and noise from outside or the hall can be quite loud. This particular room was next to the supply closet and you could hear everything staff went in. Bring earplugs if light sleeper.

This was such a great stay on a quiet street in old town. We loved the boutique feel, although we did not get to eat at the restaurant it looked and smelled incredible! The staff were so helpful and kind and you are walkable/a short drive to all major locations. The beds are also incredible and we listened to jazz from downstairs on certain nights from bed which was an added bonus. A must stay for those seeking a peaceful night after a long day in the city

Oh how I loved our stay. Located in Old Town and on a great street filled with so many street food options. This hotel so beautiful and artsy I loved it so much. So unique in its design and the room was so neat! Very clean and comfortable as well. I loved the turkish coffee sold in the main floor and the restaurant was just absolutely amazing. I also enjoyed the private garden as well. I would love to come back one day.

    Nothing at all!

Really great old house turned into a hotel, very cool decorations in the rooms and bar. Staff very friendly. Has a lovely quiet courtyard where you can sit and get out of the craziness of Bangkok. Food at the restaurant is good, wine is excellent, coffee is exceptional. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, historic building and a quiet garden.

Centrally located but very quiet garden view rooms with thick blackout drapes. Well decorated and luxurious.

This place was SO COOL!!!! The room (we got the duplex with the stairs) was so unique! The restaurant and jazz bar was awesome. The drinks were great, too (a little light on the pour, it was not a full oz) but the staff were so awesome! The food was flawless, the crab curry are you kidding me, it was amazing!!!!! Location was great too, easy to get anywhere we wanted with a quick walk or grab. The door man/security was also awesome and so friendly and happy! Loved this stay. It was the perfect end to a perfect trip.

The look, the staff , the drinks and the food were all amazing.

Ran out of toilet paper once but they brought it to me.

Everything, the decor, the staff, the food and the drinks were all wonderful.

    6SarahPosted on: 7-12-2025

Well decorated, polite staff, well located, bed comfortable.

Small rooms - no room to even open suitcase, expensive drinks, noisy, not enough storage in rooms.

The atmosphere, design of this hotel is great. It’s like living in a movie and if you are bored in your room, just go down to listen to some jazz downstairs. Everyone there is very friendly as well, so you will feel good

Location was good. It is a busy street and I had a window facing the street. Although I could here vehicles it wasn’t very loud and never bothered my sleep. The room was very spacious. The little coffee shop with Turkish style coffee was the best coffee I’ve ever had. Toiletries and coffee in my room was always restocked. The staff was excellent in all areas. I did love the look of the hotel. I didn’t eat at the restaurant but I did see lots of people there and they even had live music.

The room was dim. I little more light would be helpful.

    9Tara G.Posted on: 3-17-2025

Location was great for walking around the big swing area and visiting temples and chinatown.

Set up of the room could be a bit more functional and some of the furnishings have seen better days.

Location and staff is the best

The room is too dark. Not comfortable for reading a book or using laptop.

This is a fabulous place to stay. Every inch is planned out to be hospitable and charming. The garden on the main levee is wonderful. The interior design, the restaurant and bar, the staff were all so welcoming. Every person I met made an effort to take care of me. As a jazz lover I was so happy to sample the menu twice while enjoying the live jazz on the main floor. The restaurant is outstanding and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Definitely would make a priority to stay here next time in in Bangkok.

When you turn off the lights at night the plugs seem to also turn off thus making sure you can charge your phone seems to be a bit of a concern.

Wildly unique rooms in this tiny boutique hotel in the antique buildings of the old city. Great food, very cool bar with live jazz.. and undoubtedly the best artesanal coffee I have ever had! Wonderful and unique

Some of the basic infrastructure (plumbing, lighting etc.) shows signs of a need for attention.. but this comment pales in comparison with the pluses
