Paradox Bangkok Sukhumvit

Location is prime, rooms are nice and the staff was great, airline lost my baggage but the hotel staff was on top of it so I wouldn¿t have to worry. The staff shows a lot of hospitality, and are the best part.

I¿m guessing the AC unite is wired to the overall electrical system, the lights flicker ever so often when you have the AC running, the lights actually flicker on when you have the lights off, not often but several times during the night.

Rooms were very clean and had everything that you would need.

The traffic on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok is awful and the street the hotel is on is quite narrow. Be mindful that traffic moves extremely slow in the area and it is a reasonable distance from the Grand Palace and the tourist attractions.

breakfast too expensive

It’s in the midst of the busy and fun area but once you go inside it’s silent and quiet. Love how soundproof it is!

The best thing was the staff, very professional, polite, excellet english. The location close to Terminal 21 was also excellent. Beds was very comoftable., and breakfast was very good. Fresh juice wold have been better.

The hotel is a little bit old and worn, but nothing the hotel can do since it only just taken over the hotel.

Pear, the restaurant manager, was awesome! Friendly, attentive and very helpful.

I was in a bind for new years and got as last minute booking. Staff were awesome and check in a breeze. room was gorgeous and they didn’t gouge me on price.

Everything was good

Good location right next to a shopping centre. Excellent service from the concierge trying to trace our luggage which Qantas had failed to load on our flight to Bangkok. Good restaurant and breakfast buffet.

Super walkable location

Looking a little bit aged in some spots. Needs a gym upgrade.

The room is large. Its real king bed instead of 2 twins shoved together. I slept great for 3 nights I stayed

the Shower door faces the shower head. When you turn it on, water gets on the bathroom floor

Brilliant staff. From the doormen to the cleaners, bar staff and reception, all were friendly and helpful.

Some of the decor and fittings are getting a little tired.

elevators are a little slow

Breakfast was okay. Nothing special but not bad either. At this price point I expect a better breakfast. There was no smoked salmon and at this price point there should be smoked salmon at the breakfast buffet. I had breakfast there 3 days in a row but on the 4th day I go tired of it and went and got breakfast at McDonalds. This was even thought I had access to the full breakfast buffet.

There was no smoked salmon. The bacon was not good. It needs to be better quality. There needs to be more options.

My family and I have been coming to Bangkok a few times every year for 12 years and this is undoubtedly the best hotel. It is extremely close to Terminal 21 shopping center, the breakfast buffet is huge, delicious, and with loads to choose from. The staff are extremely caring; special thank you to ICE and TOM at the restaurant. The executive suite 1 bedroom is ginormous, and everything is totally clean. The clientele are basically all lovely Thai and Europeans, so totally quiet and peaceful throughout.

Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable for our family of 6. Hotel staff was very accommodating in making sure we had adjoining rooms for our stay. Pool was a nice oasis from the city. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend this hotel for any type of traveller.
