Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 Bangkok – A Chatrium Collection

The location was perfect. It is near interesting attractions and subway transportation.

I have to report that the ceramic floor in the shower is a safety hazard. It is so slippery that my wife had a terrible fall when taking a shower; it could have ruined our vacation.

The location and sophisticated styling of the hotel. It was a relaxing atmosphere with a welcoming staff. The roof-top pool is small and underutilized (it seems) but it also provides a relaxing place to unwind after a day exploring Bangkok.

The room needs more outlets, especially near the bed. We had to unplug some of the hotel items to be able to charge our devices.

We left one day early and we got no refund which I was sure I read I would. I have received a refund in the past, but now that is not available anymore; I will say good bye. We fly non-rev so we don't know when we return when we book.

Great service and very nice modern rooms. Looks like it was an older hotel renovated. Nice size rooms with a handy location 6-8 minutes easy walk to Sukhumvit MTR, Asok BTS, and Terminal 21 shopping center. Value hotel when booked ahead for families.

Washer/dryer has no instructions. Took too long to wash and dry clothes. Buffet breakfast was below average in terms of quality and selection for a hotel in this class. I've had much better at hotels with 3 stars.

We stayed at Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 for 9 days and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish.The breakfast was excellent and well diversified, offering plenty of options to start each day right. What really stood out, though, was the staff—consistently kind, professional, and incredibly attentive to detail. They genuinely went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.The swimming pool area was very clean and well maintained, with fresh towels always available and comfortable chairs that made it a perfect place to relax. The fitness center was well equipped and spotlessly clean, which made my daily workouts especially enjoyable.Finally, the room was extremely comfortable and impeccably clean throughout our stay. A special kudos to the housekeeping team—they are truly outstanding and deserve high praise.We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18 to anyone visiting Bangkok.

Overall, the place is pleasant. The room, which did not face the street, was very quiet, there was a tree outside the window and a normal view. The cleaning is excellent. There are many more advantages than disadvantages. Heartfelt people work.

Poor nutrition. The breakfast cafe is located on the ground floor with access to the street. I haven't been able to sit in a cafe in the morning in three days. Crowd. That's why we ate outside, there are tables nearby. But there's a place that needs to be repaired, not even yesterday. And it's dirty. The food is quite mediocre. There is no feeling of cleanliness in this dining space, as there are in other hotels of a similar category where we stayed. You can just take accommodation without breakfast. And look more carefully at the numbers offered to you.

Breakfast was less than average

Room was good as I booked 1 Bedroom grand deluxe . Cleaning was taken care of daily basis . Internet was super fast .

As we reached washroom sink was not working! We had ro complain and the staff knew as she said over the may be sink is not working .. if you knew it then you shud have repaired it not let guest face problems .Breakfast was not good at all as it had very less choice and mostly Chinese food .. if I paid 30 usd per day break fast and I expect to have better choices fruits only 3 options watermelon! Pineapple and dragon fruit and quantity is less .. kitchen staff are enjoying by themselves and chit chatting instead of attending guests. I had to be patience and let them finish their Jokes giggles and chit chat to order my omelet. Location for breakfast was very small .. if you are later by 9.30 am for breakfast .. its hard to be get a table to have your breakfast .

After giving me a terrible room, I complained and they gave me a good room. I did not appreciate the dumpy smelly room they first tried to give me.

It is a nice hotel, surprisingly tucked down a quieter road off Sukuhmvit. It's location is excellent, with a quick walk to superb restaurants, the metro, and night life. The cafe attached is excellent (though I did skip out on the breakfast). The room was very comfortable and staff quite friendly.

Nothing much to report here. Price is a touch high, so book in advance. Housekeeping could have been a little more frequent and thorough, but I would definitely stay again for the location alone.

The only things I didn’t like was the constant noise in the back . It was a construction site . Nothing they could do about anyway

Great location. Stayed with my family for 4 nights and room facilities were really good and convenient. Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok.

The breakfast had traditional breakfast items as well as Asian dinner items on offer. We prefer to eat dinner items, so it was great for us. If you are looking for waffles and pancakes, this isn't the place for you. The pool was clean and small but had extensive hours, so you could always find a quiet time to visit it. We loved that there was no music and bar at the pool, which made it a family-friendly experience. The gym had extensive hours and a great variety of equipment for a hotel gym. We booked the apartment with a washing machine, which was amazing huge. The washing machine was great and so convenient to have in sweaty dirty bangkok. The location near MRT and BTS can't be beat. I really liked that is was far removed from the busy road.

The bed in room 310 was soo hard. Also the AC had a funky smell.

The pool and gym opened at 6am.Being an early riser I would like to have had access earlier.
