Tara Place

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I thought the bed would be too firm but it was very comfortable. Good water pressure and hot shower. Very clean. Close to canal for boat transport. Nice little Thai neighbourhood. Lots of good food.

Lovely place and staff was excellent as well. Amenities in the lobby was also nice. I liked that there was massage and hair parlor as well as a restaurant right around the premises.

No coffee in the rooms. Also, there was no water or toiletries left outside the room if the don’t disturb sign was on. I had to request bottles of water everyday.

In an excellent location but not too close to Khao San road. Not too far to where you can get a day ticket for the ferry which was such an easy way to travel through Bangkok. Nearby to some nice cafes and 7/11. Staff were polite and helpful. We booked an excursion through them and ha a great trip away from the city. A/C worked well and room was a good size.

Bed was a little hard but this was expected. Small bugs in bathroom like little ants? However we encountered this is a few places during our travels so perhaps this is normal.

I liked being close to the streets where I could get food but not so close to be noisy. It was comfortable and clean. Good value and the staff were very helpful for my stay.

Our go to hotel when we are in bangkok central to every thing and staff can't do enough for you

Nothing not to like

Clean rooms and bathroom.

Very noisy. You can hear the guests coughing etc in other rooms. Our first night it was terribly noisy, a kid next door and bunch of adults in corridor. The other two nights was fine. When requested the manager to see if some compensation would be available, she got very defensive and also threw her employee under the bus. We heard other groups complaining of noise too so it wasn’t just us. The rooms are clean but quite worn!

The staff at the Front Desk are so helpful and accomodating. The men at the lobby do multi-tasks: they serve as bellboys - fetches our luggages even at the driveway, they tend at the concierge, and even drives their FREE Tuktuk. They dont serve breakfast but they have overflowing coffee and snacks. Such a nice place to stay at the value of money. Well recommended!

Suggest to add slippers for amenities. The shower doors leaks to the main bathroom

It's clean, close to outdoor markets, and has plenty of restaurants. Convenient location for transportation. Staff is very helpful in getting us on tours throughout the area. Very comfortable stay. Recommend Tara to everyone

The area is ok, about 15 mins walk from Kaho san street, plenty of restaurants and mini markets around.The room is very clean and the staff helpful.They offer instant coffee, tea and small snacks in their lobby for free, for the taking.The wifi is surprisingly good.Water in the room and cleaning every day.Beds are very comfortable.All in all this is a basic accommodation but it does the job. They also have luggage storage and it is free for a day.

The price was a bit high compared to whatthey were offering. Breakfast is outside the hotel in a nearby cafe. They have about 5 dishes you can choose from for your breakfast coupons. Everything you ask for extra, even milk, is added to a tab and you need to pay for.It is a bit ridiculous to be so scarce with milk or bread when Bangkok is literally all about food and people offer it plenty.Also, they have pics of the dishes you can choose from but rarely resemble the actual dish.There is no real window - u have a small one but you cannot open it properly nor can you draw the drapes as there's always people outside.

Big and comfy bed. Very helpful staff. Luggage storage before check in and after check out.

Small shower head and short shower hose. Poor soundproofing from other rooms and corridor. Air conditioner is pointed straight at the bed, so it is unpleasant.

All good in general: clean, comfy, friendly, quiet, spacious; except for one serious room design flow described in cons section.

Inadequate AC unit placement in the room: unavoidably targeting the head of the bed, and in my case resulting in stiff neck and sore throat in the morning.

The bed was very comfortable. The aircon was nice and cold. The shower was great. There was a little outdoor garden area for relaxing. Very nice. The staff was very professional and helpful.

The location wasn't the greatest. There were shops and temples to visit. No major grocery stores. Nice neighborhood. But not extremely convenient.

I think the walls are kind of thin, I can hear the other guest from the other room. Also, some guest can be so loud and disrespectful not thinking of others - I reported it to their staff and they took some action right away.

The location is excellent! It’s very close to Pier N13 (Phra Arthit Pier), which makes it super convenient to explore Bangkok by boat. You can easily hop on the tourist boat and visit popular spots like ICONSIAM, Asiatique, Chinatown and many more. A great base for sightseeing and getting around the city!

I was disappointed with the breakfast. The options were very limited and the food wasn’t satisfying. Although the menu said breakfast choices with coffee and juice but I was asked to pay extra for the juice which was confusing and disappointing. In my opinion, it’s better not to include breakfast in your stay. There are plenty of affordable restaurants and delicious street food just a short walk from the hotel. You’ll get a better meal and more value for your money outside.It was a nice touch that the hotel provided hot beverages, bread or cake and some nuts in the lobby. It’s a great way to have a light snack or something to fill your stomach. I often enjoyed a cup of coffee and some bread there, a simple but appreciated gesture.

Rooms are big and clean. Area is close to a lot of good restaurants. Location is also close to downtown.

In one instance, we were given a towel that is not clean but they changed it right away and apologized.

It was good place stay. 5 mins everywhere around. We mainly used bolt app . And also hotel will arrange the vehicle to visit pattaya also it was very budget friendly. Staff is very friendly and it was very calm place to stay.
