Ibis Bangkok Riverside

If you want the best value hotel on the river - this is it. Good breakfast and nice pool and gardens

maybe a little boat over to Sathorn pier would help for arrivals and departures thats about all the 5 star hotels on the Ibis

I love that it was next to the river - we enjoyed breakfast and dinners with a beautiful view of the boats passing by. Near the shopping centre and the Skytrain.

Great location and a lovely place to sit and watch the river activity. Lots of great food options near by as well as a short walk to Icon Siam.A really great place to stay that's very affordable

Check in was hectic with no trolley or person to help with 5 large suitcases. Staff at the restaurant/bar are not highly attentive and tend to all stand together at the bar. They are, however, always very friendly.Walls are quite thin so noises carry into rooms very easily. Quite often woken up by cleaners in the hallway or other guests slamming doors.

Location perfect. The view on terrace where you having really good breakfast is beautiful. Location is really good to get shopping mall and boats to sightseeing

No balconies and windows don’t open.

The warm welcome, the care of the staff when we left, the breakfast, the view , the pool.We could plan a visit to floating market right from the hotel.

Beautiful location - right by the river and very convenient location, just over a 10 minute walk to Icon Siam. The restaurant and bar they have in the hotel by the river is also a great spot to have a meal

The room was just a bit loud; I could hear the room next door and the hallway quite easily. If you're a heavy sleeper this shouldn't be a problem.

Nice located. It has many street foods around the hotel. Staffs are friendly.

The location is superb with IconSiam just down the road,many restaurants, and a short walk to Pepsi Pier where you can cross the river to Sathorn Pier and take the river taxis or the hop on hop off tourist boat. You can take a short walk from there to the Saphan Taksin BTS station.The pool is very nice and the grounds and seating at the river are superb with good meal and drink service.Room service was very good and helpful, and staff was always professional and diligent.

The property’s riverside location provided a calm and relaxing atmosphere at night. The pool was clean, well maintained, and inviting.

The breakfast spread was largely continental; additional Indian or vegetarian options would have enhanced the experience. The rooms and washrooms were somewhat cramped.

Loved the location. Room clean, had kettle and safe. Easy access to Ferry. Tables and chairs to sit by the river while enjoying the view. Pool area lovely. Shuttle bus provided by hotel, to nearby train station, if needed. Has a tourist desk in hotel, where we booked a car to airport, which was convenient. Pedestrian bridge near the park down the road, to walk across the river. Enjoyed our stay here.

Breakfast while lovely, was very busy and noisy.

Nice place , clean , the staff very nice. Easy to get something to eat and shopping.

Only two electrical outlets, one didn’t work properly. Bath rooms are very small and no outlets. Rooms are very spartan.

Didn't stay long enough! Also, soundproofing was poor; I could hear other guests' doors opening and closing.

When I ask front desk to change my room in the riverfront view.. But he refused to change my room because he said it's fully book but when I ask the housekeeping she said that 3 Rooms has vacant.. Riverview rooms.. I ask again on the next day.. The housekeeping said.. The room is vacant.. ??But overall all is good.. Except of my small request.. Thanks

I stayed at the Ibis Bangkok Riverside, and honestly the room was very small and not comfortable for a long stay.

The location looks good on the map, but it’s not as convenient as expected. It works for a short stop, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here for many days.

Location was really good and convenient.

It was not clean at all. The bathroom was not cleaned when we arrived. There was poop smeared on the toilet. There was also hairs in the shower.

A really lovely hotel for a great price. Super clean. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The location is fantastic with the same river views of the super expensive hotels located in the same area. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Easy access to transportation anywhere in the city. Highly recommend this hotel if you want good value with a great location.
