OYO 583 Sweethome Guest House

I didn't stay at the hotel, once I arrived there they don't have any single room for me. I need fully refund for my booking.

The gentleman ask to stay together with others ladies cause they did mistake regarding room reservation. Some of guests did not check out yet and they forget to block online booking.

Location

1. We booked a twin room but were given a completely different, run-down room that looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com.2. The older male staff member behaved inappropriately and unprofessionally throughout our stay. He took photos of every guest without asking for permission, acting as though it was his right. He rudely knocked on our door and removed our key card without consent—while my wife was still in the restroom—just to tell us to leave it on the table at checkout.He tried to take my photo again while holding our deposit cash, essentially using it as leverage. I refused. He acted like he was boss and forgot that he is being paid by us—his customers. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.Not recommended for future visitors.

Location is good.

Guest house display board did not see the building.One hundred bath gave to the owner. But we don't know about this extra charges.

Very noisy place/street, internet was not working, fridge not working, they offer no solution for this. Furthermore, even before saying hello, the cranky and rude man who opened the door was already telling me off. I would not recommend it at all

AVOID THIS PLACE! booking had charged me a fee for staying the night. in the middle of the night, a younger man who worked at the hotel came knocking our door and yelling at me and my friend. he called me a bullshitter, a bandit and a liar, among other things. in the morning when we left I had to pay the hotel in cash and the man refused to listen to me and he was not interested when I showed that I had paid for the booking. he was the meanest and most unpleasant person I have ever met in any customer service job. Rooms was also dirty and horrible. Never gonna stay there again and I hope that neather do you.

Paid advance in full pay through booking.com. but arrive to the hotel Before check in Asked 1000 Thai bhatt to deposit. In booking.com never mentioned 1000 Thai bhatt on arrival deposit. Hotel located on 1st floor. There's no lift only stair Very narrow. When you have 3 to 4 luggage , you need to go up and down 3 to 4 times to carry your luggage up. Booking.com should remove them from their platform for misleading

It's affordable.

It is closed when I arrive at 3PM at my booking time. Nobody answer my phone. I lost my money in air. It must be closed, but shown open on website. Never book that hotel guys.

nothing about it was good i knew it isnt a great hotel but through pictures i felt its clean and atleast we can stay for few hours but it was 2 star hotel only with no cleanliness.... plus they dont have any proper tech system for person to check in and maintain their records.... they take you several oics with key card with passport with security deposit money even if you dont want you have to take pictures ehich is bad to invade anyone privacy why should i give my pictures to you.... they must have proper system for their records rather than writing it on paper with xerox copypoor cleaning fake pictures on booking.com

Their bheivour is not profesional. the room lock is not working. they didnt give basic things to their customer such as water , electric ketly

The owner didn’t arrange the room for me due to he said that we didn’t book and paid via online , thus he doesn’t manage to prepare the room .

The stairs up with the luggage, the 1st day the airco was not working, could not sleep because it was 25 degrees, taking a shower was a real challenge because the shower was right above the toilet so after taking a shower the bathroom was like a swimming pool. The soap for taking a shower was zo small you could barely hold it in your hand. Alsof there was not enough toilet paper. Every day we had to ask for it. I know the price was cheap but still it was not worth it.

No windows, no electric kettle in the room and very old barely working small hot water dispenser in the hallway, Mosquito in the room.

The pictures on booking do not represent the reality. The rooms are really run down and the street is really horrible with lots of traffic. The windows do not block the sound from the street. The customer service never replies and the number they have is not working!!! There is no one in the reception to check out. They charged me 1000bahts as security deposit for the key but when I booked I did not received this information! I do not recommend this place, I recommend it to be removed from booking really.

Close to airport link however it will need to walk atleast 10 min

The staffs does not have the Hospitality. Even my flight is late even, I ring the bell too long to wait to open the door and the staffs said that it is not check in time. I got a big surprise that I already paid the cost and I have right to choose whenever I can do check in. It is too worse for the guest.

They asked for additional 100 bhatt for a day as service charge which we didnt know and their behavior is unfriendly, like if you want accept the service charge you can stay otherwise door is open.It just like a trap as we have booked it already and some amount already deducted from the credit card now you have to accept the property policy.

I will never recommend the place to anyone.

I was being scammed. After my trip to Bangkok, and my last (one and only night) at this place. They required me to pay when I arrived. But when I got back to Finland, Booking informed that according the Guest House, I never stayed there, and I was charged the room rent again (no free cancellation).

Demanded my Passport as a surety during my stay, I didn't have any other choice at that moment, given my Passport)I booked a room for one night at 2 pm (Check-in) to the next day at 12 noon (check-out),But I checked in the next day at 9 am and informed them as I was going to check out by 12:30 PM on the same day (I stayed hardly 3 hours there, even I booked for a whole night)One Lady at the receptionist accepted my family (total 4, 2 adults + 2 kids) to stay in one room even though we booked a room for 2 persons.while checkout time, One person came (he was claimed as the owner of the property), and started showing and threatening my family as "cheaters, fraud"... and also threatened my family to Give Police Complaints about us for staying with 4 persons in a room.He was not listening to my word even though I am ready to pay extra money for extra personal and extra time (30 min from the actual checkout time, I knew, 1 hour grace period will give even at 5-star Hotels)Meaning that my Passport was given to me by Receptionist silently (hiding from Owner, she knew, the owner is threatening and blackmailing her) .I have not control my sense, once I received my Passport in my hand, started reverse shouting at him, I asked him to call the Police. Why should I be afraid? I did nothing wrong and illegal.After I start insisting he calls the police, changed his tone and demanded 500 TBH for my Kids to stay..Finally paid 500 extra and came out safely.. After that, my family members were afraid of the total Thailand people and insisted I take back to India immediately..I spent 5 days there in Thailand (Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya), everything is good and the people are very helpful and polite except for this bloody SweetHome OYO room.I was supposed to file a police case against him for blackmailing and threatening, but time was not permitted.

Room is dirty, you have to pay 100THB more to this property for their service charge. This is my first experience in life. If you don’t pay you can cancel your booking without refund, and you can’t reached booking.com hotlines then you ended up stay there with paying 100THB extra charge per night.

the most worst night in thai booking was 300+ we came late and already booking was confirmed… but once we arrive manager said no u didn’t paid and the room is 700 u have to pay otherwise u go …
